I think I've tried all their breakfast items and they all very good! Service is always excellent and cheerful with Dafina! Portions are very generous including the side salads which are always very fresh. The restaurant is very clean and modern. Pictures are worth a thousands words, view the items that I have ordered, they taste as good as they look! My favorite items for breakfast are: Greek Skillet, Empire Slam, Corned Beef Hash.

I stopped for breakfast to kill some time before an appointment. Service was great and food was perfect. Pancakes were light and fluffy and I'm glad I got the half order because they were filling. Bacon was cooked crispy but not overcooked and it had good flavor. I will come back here if I'm in the area again. Also, the restaurant is very clean and inviting.

It was my first time here. I was unsure of who my server was. I had one taking drink orders, one delivering the appetizer, and one delivering my food. The food was diner food, but still good, nonetheless. My brother ordered a kids burger with fries. The patty was super thin and the bun was huge. It didn't come with a drink. The grilled chicken hoagie and slim Jim were both good. I'd try something else next time, maybe their fattoush. The atmosphere is nicer than most diners so a plus for that.

This nice little diner offers a variety of breakfast and lunch foods. I had their chicken and waffles breakfast; the waffle was strangley paired with bone-in chicken wings, though it was delicious! My wife had the Mexican omlette, her only complaint was the meat was bland. Otherwise, both meals were sufficient. Our waitress was great! Regular checkups, offering menu information, and quick to get us out when we finish up! I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick but decent bite to eat.

Inconspicuously located in a small strip mall across from industrial business complex. The interior is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Service was excellent and the food came out fast. I had the empire omelette and my hubby had the meat lovers skillet. We were both more than pleased with our food. It was hot, the portions were big (have leftovers) and it came out fast. The price was reasonable for the area if not cheaper then other places we have ate at in the area. Would definitely come back!!

Empire Grill is getting a lot of great reviews. Just check out Ron C.'s photos and see for yourself how this old LA Coney Island has been re-done into a really nice family style restaurant. Their menu has it all from steaks, burgers and sandwiches to Middle Eastern, Mexican, Greek, Italian and Chinese. The nice thing is that you can get it all from open to close.Now Ron didn't have time to eat with Laurie and I but he was able to hang out with us for a short time. Laurie and I stayed longer to get caught up on things a bit before we ate. The server picked up on this and she totally let us have our space until we were ready.Laurie and I shared a Rachel sandwich platter which came with a huge portion of crispy golden fries that were some of the best I've ever had. It also came with a cup of chicken noodle soup. I'm sure it was Progresso. My only knock on this place was that the Rachel could have been better. We liked that they used thick cuts of turkey instead of the usual thin slices but then again, there wasn't much turkey and the sauerkraut overpowered the sandwich. If the meat and kraut ratio were switched, I would have easily given Empire Grill a 5 star rating.I'd go again but I'd get something else the next time.

Delicious, Delicious, Delicious...Clean, Clean clean! I ate here 4 times this past week for lunch...and it rocked! Homemade soups, Fresh salads and a Coney that'd make your toes curl. I believe this place was recently bought and turned around and judging by the crowds at lunch time, the locals have figured it out! Great food and great service - great local Detroit-style Coney experience! Well Done!Enjoy.

Located on the west side of Mound Rd in a little strip mall, this diner was quiet, clean, friendly and comfortable. My companion and i shared breakfast together. Booth seating is available and very comfortable. My plain Oatmeal was served hot with milk, raisins and brown sugar on the side. Ask for butter, if you want that too. The staff were so wonderful! We remained there for probably longer than usual catching up, and were actually encouraged to just remain (no, it was not busy)! Restroom (2 separate stalls in one space) was clean and stocked. Lot parking is free, accessible and was plentiful in the morning.
