Can you think of cheers and a British pub all in one. Then you are here.! . As soon as we walk in it takes you back to England. Where everybody knows everybody. Familiar, friendly and fun. It's been a local neighborhood bar in Dearborn since 1948 and when I tell you, everybody knew everybody, the guests or the patrons came in and said hi to every person by name The waitresses knew pretty much everybody's order. It was old school. It took you back.. The tufted red leather booths and the red Stain glass windows with nice detail were a vibe . It was a throwback. Then the food was amazing, great bar food a notch above bar food. I had the French onion soup. It was probably the best French onion soup ever. I told my husband it was the best French onion soup I've had since steak and Ale in Houston, Texas. My hubby had a delicious cheeseburger with some amazing onion rings. It's bar food galore. It has great seafood it's a step above bar food but it's still kind of all bar food. It's classic. The plates are old school. It's just a nice place to get a beer and a nice place to go once a week to get some solid food friendship And some neighborhood love I love this place.!!

Absolutely loved the atmosphere - intimate red leather booths, tons of stained glass, not too crowded, an amazing King Crab special and drink selections...will be back soon!

My family decided to try a bunch of different fish and chips places during Lent this year - a different one every Friday. Elmhurst's landed right near the top of all the places we tried. Besides having tasty fish and chips, the portion size was plentiful, the price was very reasonable compared to others, and they came with an option of multiple types of sides, including sweet potato fries and waffle fries, not just the traditional French fries or potato wedges. The fish was a bit on the greasy side, but what do you expect from fish and chips?I would gladly order the fish and chips here again.

Very cool vibes, food was great and the service was fantastic. Our server was so nice and informative knowing it was our first time there.

Great little neighborhood bar, with parking in the back. First, I will mention how impressed I am with their adherence to state guidelines regarding Covid-19. They follow the rules, other bars and restaurants don't. If you're looking for a great burger, you will be happy with their offerings. I got a 1/3lb burger that comes with your choice of fries, sweet potato fries, waffle fries or onion rings and cole slaw for $9. I think the 1/2lb burger was $10. I've eaten here several times and I'm always satisfied with the food, the pizza was great and so was the French Onion soup.

I hadn't been here in at least 10 years. Someone posted on a local Facebook page how awesome the food is (in particular the pizza) and wanting to support local businesses, we ordered some takeout. We ordered a large pizza - it's a good size, 14 slices. The picture on their website and the comments on FB had me setting my expectations high. The pizza was ok. The toppings were a little light, there was a ton of cheese, and the crust is fairly thin with minimal sauce. Most of the sauce was near the edge, not spread throughout. It was an ok bar style pizza. We also had an antipasto salad which was loaded up with all fresh ingredients. The grilled shrimp was just as fabulous as I remember it being in the 90s when we would pop in for lunch. Next time we'll try the burgers and the reuben. Also, curbside pickup was easy-peasy, you can park in front or in the back.Sorry, we were so hungry, I forgot to take pics!

What a hidden gem. Full of ambience and personality. The wait staff were spot on attending to our every request and frequent stops to see if anything else was needed. The food was surprisingly fresh and the helpings were generous. I wish I could say more but this is only the first time we have dined here. It is definitely on my list to come again. My wife and I share the fish and chips and it was absolutely wonderful. I happen to find this place because it was listed as having a great calzone. We will have to get one of those on the next trip.

Man! I loved this place! Clearly a local spot for good food and service but welcome to first timers too. I took a video of the inside to share with my husband (Louisville native) of how much it reminded me of "Old Louisville". Dark and pubby yet friendly and warm. And the prices were extremely reasonable. I will be back every time I am in the area. I consider it a "don't miss" for a pub.

They're white pizza Is really good! Everything I tried there was really good. I like the historical look about it. Great services well. I'm looking forward to trying the french onion soup.
