Elaine's Bagels

Sandwich was ok I guess - bagel on its own was not worth it. cream cheese was probably one of the worst of I've ever had.

Disappointing to say the leastDozen bagels Blueberry bagels dyed blue with a single berry in each bagelSalt sticks seemed like it was day old. Salt bagels used to be salt and poppy seed now just salt. Pile of dirt in the middle of the floor as they were in the middle of sweeping with customers in and out of the store. If you want bagels find another place.

Seems like the negative reviews came from folks who need to deal with their nostalgia & have never left their tiny little bubbles. Bagels are wonderful. Wonderful bagels are difficult to make. This place does it authentic. You could even bring a picky New Yorker (I did it, and it worked). If your palate grew up on Einstein & Bruegger's, you do not understand the merit of authenticity to Elaine's. Stop asking for special treatment.

This place has reeeeeeally gone downhill. Growing up I remember stopping in every weekend for bagels on our way to church or sporting events. There was ALWAYS a line out the door. This is not the same Elaine's. This place is gross. There is dust everywhere you look. It looks like they have been under construction for a long time. There are flies hovering over the bagels. Service was not great- she was on the phone via headphones the entire time I was there. I felt like I was interrupting her by trying to order and get out. If you order sandwich, it will be cooked in a plastic container in a microwave. All around not a great experience. I do not plan to come back here and would certainly not recommend it.

Bagel sandwich was just ok nothing special about it also, they need to update their menu on Yelp, had items listed that they no longer carry.

I'm not a huge fan of the bagels here. One reason is that they are shaped very round like a mini soccer ball and don't fit in my toaster at home when I slice them in half. The cinnamon raisin bagels barely have any raisins in them and I've ordered them a few times just incase I got an odd one. One time there were just 2 raisins in the whole bagel!! The blueberry bagels definitely could use more blueberries as well. The only reason I like to come here is for the dog bagels! Lol. My dog loves them and they are only $0.35 each. A much cheaper price than I can get at the pet stores. The New York Bagel Dogels they sell at the local pet stores are $12.99 for a dozen. A dozen here is only $4.20 and they are much larger. I highly suggest them for a treat your dog if have a large dog. It's a little known secret. :)

Super yummy breakfast bagel. Disclaimer: They are currently renovating & updating their menu. The staff was super friendly, & they had a great selection of bagels. Reasonably priced and delicious still. Support local!

Elaine's is great. Best bagel I've ever had? Probably not. But where else can you get a lox sandwich for under $8?? Does that speak to its quality? maybe but it's always been delicious, no complaints. The staff is very nice. They are undergoing renovations but it hasn't deterred me from stopping in.

Very disappointed because this place used to be good and reasonably priced. I bought an Asiago bagel which was stale and tasted a little like onion. The cinnamon roll was rock hard stale. THE COST: $5.00! It is advertised as dine in but only a solitary table for two. I couldn't communicate with the clerk.

Best bagels around, period! Good selection, excellent service. Best bagels, and at a good price.
