Elaine's Bagel

Stopped in on a Sunday morning since the bakery a few doors down was closed. Hardly had any bagels to choose from.Only one person there working, so the three people in front of me that ordered breakfast sandwiches ended up making me wait about 15 minutes just for a toasted bagel and cream cheese. Sign was up about SOUP OF THE DAY, so I asked about it. The girl working replied, "we never have soup, I don't know why that's up there. "Place seemed a little deserted, or like maybe a front for some illicit business. I don't know. Not welcoming, not inviting, bare shelves.

ALWAYS perfect bagels. The staff are friendly and nice, not the biggest fan of the cream cheese, but that's not your fault!

I had them one time as a door dash and it was great. But every time I've tried since it's been a disaster. They open at 7 but never have bagels by the time they open. How does a bagel place open without bagels? Three separate times I've tried and I think I give up. Very disappointed. They don't even make the bagels on site. Where are they even coming from? Cause I'll go there!

I thought this place would be shut down by now. But alas, it survives like the cockroaches. Which I almost expected to see. The interior was very dark, dingy, outdated. Honestly it had a weird smell, moldy?The girl at the register was on her phone talking. Not on a business phone- her cell. She seemed annoyed she had to deal with me as, you know, one of those 'customer people'. Bagel was not toasted whatsoever, like bread. Very overpriced. They did not have honey walnut cream cheese even though I was there early. I am not kidding when I say I went to the restroom and there was a full set of makeup strewn on the counter. Just gross, gross, gross. I just wait now and go to respectable businesses and buy in bulk, freeze. So much trying to get a decent fresh bagel in this area. My guess to their only thread they hang on- lack of nearby choices. Very nasty attitudes and just all-around. Bye.

Bagel quality was actually pretty good, but cleanliness and aseptic protocol was very poor. Handling money, then food, no plastic gloves, etc. Was a big turn off for me.

I normally get a lox bagel at jerseys. This place is cheaper, but I felt as if the bagel or something kind of hid the lox flavor. This place is decent. Wouldn't really come back for a lox bagel unless I was desperate. The lady who made my bagel was friendly.

I don't normally stop for bagels but lately I have had a taste for a good bagel instead of the bagged ones in the bread aisle at the grocery store. I came here and got 4 bagels and the kind woman who rang me up gave me two extra for free. I really enjoyed the bagels and will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Ordered a blt and got bacon and mayo. I came back and she said that's how they make it there. Was nice enough to fix it for me but definitely keep in mind this is how a "blt" comes

Hard bagels for a fresh bagel. Flavor lacking also. Only thing decent seems to be the nice lady who rang me up.

What happened to this place? I was going to be nearby and excited to stop there around 10:30 Monday morning They had Just a handful of four or five flavors, I only bought a few. They're horrible! Won't be back
