Chips and salsa
Enchiladas poblano but I had to extract the chicken because the sauce is gross.

The Mexican dining experience was exceptional. The expertly seasoned salsa had a homemade quality. The pico de gallo was similarly impressive. I found the rice, with its authentic flavor, to be the standout side dish. The alambre and fajitas were delicious, with no leftovers. My fajitas showcased vibrant flavors, paired with expertly sautéed vegetables. I selected the traditional lime margarita after consideration. Our server's exceptional service included a complimentary sampling of the alternative margarita. Both margaritas were outstanding. The interior space accommodates large groups, with amenities including a full bar and televisions. I highly recommend this establishment and intend to return. The toddler's visible delight was a testament to the experience.

El Toro has friendly staff and a clean environment. The bar is large and appealing, though I didn't sit there. Unfortunately, the chips seemed like generic store-bought ones, and while the salsa was fine, it benefited from the available hot sauces. The entrées were good; I enjoyed the Guadalajara Burrito, and my wife found the combination platter basic but decent. However, the enchilada Rojo sauce tasted canned. The server was attentive, and the food arrived quickly. Overall, it's a decent spot, though not particularly memorable.

This place changed names so not sure if it's the same owner or not from 2 years ago. My favorite margarita place now. On Tues they have 1/2 off their Texas Margaritas which are sooo..good! The food is delicious and not over priced. Definitely check this place out.

The restaurant had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. However, the service could use some improvement. When we asked our server for details about certain dishes, she simply directed us to read the menu instead of offering any recommendations or insights. The food and drinks were decent, but nothing particularly stood out. Overall, it was an okay experience, but there's room for better customer engagement and food quality.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch, frankly not expecting too much (I'm picky about Mexican food), and was pleasantly surprised! The corn tortillas are soft and fresh, the meat was well-seasoned, and the salsas were yummy. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and quick.

I visited this restaurant on a late Tuesday evening and ordered the burrito and enchiladas combination with rice and beans. The beans had no taste, and the texture was extremely thin. The enchilada and beef burrito just overall did not taste good, and I think it's because the overall quality of the ingredients aren't good. I'm assuming that the busyness of the restaurant is its location, which is near a hotel because I can't see any locals going to this restaurant to eat. I'll stick to Southwest Detroit (Mexican Town).

The best authentic Mexican food in the area. I stumbled upon this restaurant by happenstance. The max capacity for the restaurant is 15 - i say that so you can understand how small the building is. There's even a sign posted saying 15 max. We had a party of 6 with 3 adults and 3 kids but was able to scrunch in a 4-person booth. But if you have all adults, i would probably recommend carry out only. There are maybe only 5-6 booths in total. Only downfall is we didn't really know what to do when we walked in for the first time. Nobody really greets you, which is fine, but for first timers... it can be sort of scary on what exactly to do. So just sit down (if there is an available table) and someone will eventually come to table. Lol You can tell all the food was made from scratch - even the tortillas and taco shells. From kids to adults, everyone was extremely satisfied with their food. Would definitely return again but just for carry out (which seemed to be the most popular thing because they were whipping out to-gos like crazyyyyy).
