Einstein Bros. Bagels

This location is pretty decent. Food was what you would expect add any einstein. There were a couple of times I was in a rush, and they were able to accommodate that. Nova lox is made no worse than other locations. The turkey sausage is decent. Bagels are toasted. Usually the service is slow but if pressed they are able to make it quickly. They were also accommodating to food preferences.

Haven't been to an Einstein's Bagel since 2017 and now I remember why. The place is not busy but there are 3 people working and the restaurant is a mess. No table is clean, the floor has tons of crumbs and small bits of trash everywhere. The man who took our order rushed us despite not having anyone else waiting. He also didn't explain the process (you order from him and pay at the next register - pointless extra step). He also got my husband's name wrong. The cost of a six cheese bagel was $3.98!!! Panera's are $1.88. I asked for butter in the side so they scooped some of there community butter into a small container. It was full of crumbs from other bread items. So gross. Thanks, but I won't be returning.

Went in to grab a bagel with cream cheese and left. When I got home there was barely any cream cheese on the bagel. It was almost too dry to eat. Disappointing for sure!

Who doesn't love a good bagel? I don't come to this specific location often, but it's closest to work and when we have training sessions or office events that require bagels, I always stop here to pick up a dozen bagels and what ever else we may need. It's located inside a shopping center so parking here's easy as can be.The staff here's always so helpful and friendly, regardless if it's busy or quiet inside. They have a great variety of bagels to choose from and the coffee here's delicious as well. (I think they brew Caribou last time I checked.) Prices can't be beat and most everything's fresh. The place is well stocked for the most part and I'm in and out in no time, which makes life so much easier.

I love the breakfast sandwiches here at Einstein. They are always consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. Whenever I come out this way to visit family, I am the designated breakfast person. No matter if I'm ordering for just myself, or 5 other people, this Einstein's is always accommodating and quick. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes, even on a busy weekend morning. Customer service is great. Friendly enough, and always quick and efficient. I so appreciate that. This location does have doggy bagels. Our dogs love them. You can find them at the register either individually or pre-packaged. In terms of Covid, I think this location has been handling things pretty well. They do have a sign outside on the door that says no more than 5 people inside, but I've never witnessed anyone following that "rule", nor anyone enforcing it. They have blocked off all indoor seating and you do follow a loop around the store to order and pay. They do have some tables marked off for door dash, uber eats, and whatever other delivery services are out there. All employees are wearing masks, and gloves. They do have hand sanitizer at the door. They are requiring customers to wear masks.

I'm rarely a huge fan of chain restaurants but I have to make an exception for Einstein Bros. Bagels. It consistently has some of the best gourmet bagels and double whipped schmear around. I never liked cream cheese all that much until Einstein's schmear turned me into a cream cheese convert. The whipped schmear is so fluffy and light. I also love the cheese bagels - six cheese, jalapeno cheddar, green chile, and cheesy hash brown - they are all delicious and my favorite go-to items. Einstein bagels are very soft and still taste great a day later if you are buying extra to last a few mornings. I've tried other bagel places and found the bagels to be too hard and chewy. So far I've tried one of the signature breakfast sandwiches, the Farmhouse, with eggs, bacon, smoked ham, and cheddar cheese, on a cheesy hash brown gourmet bagel. Really good and definitely beats a typical fast-food breakfast. I like this location in Troy. The workers are friendly, the store is spacious, and I haven't had a problem with getting the bagels I want if I go in the morning. I recommend downloading the Einstein app to earn points for free items and order ahead. There is a table to pick up your items if you pre-order using the app.

This was our go to spot for Sunday morning breakfast. I moved so I tried another location this past week and quickly realized why we love this one so much. We will be driving to this location from now on! lol I love to come for the Vanilla Hazelnut coffee and creamer. I also love their breakfast sandwiches and the Monday dozen special. If you come here often, I suggest signing up for their rewards program and receive the e-mails. You get a pretty nice birthday reward and the points add up quick. The spinach and bacon breakfast sandwich and the nova lox are my two favorite breakfast items. My son loves the turkey sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a blueberry bagel. I thought it sounded weird until I tried it...it's actually pretty good! The employees are really nice, the space is big and it does get very busy on Sunday's so be prepared to wait. But they do go through the orders pretty quickly, so it's not that bad. This is my favorite location so we'll be back soon!

This spot is a regular stop for me usually as it is for their Vanilla Hazelnut coffee yummies, but when it is birthday month celebration, we can add a delicious sandwich to the occasion, double bonus.For anyone who comes here regularly I would suggest join their e-club. You earn points and get free things (such as the delicious birthday sandwich). Being in my 40s now, carbs are definitely my enemy, so I normally try to avoid them. In this case, I celebrate the chance to enjoy carby goodness of their poppy seed bagel.I especially want to give a shout out to manager on duty who let me upgrade my choice eazy-breezy. The Supernova was delicious and worth every poppy seed I will need to pick out of my teeth later. Cucumbers, avocado, cream cheese, tomatoes... and on and on. Even at regular price I think it is worth it. Mucho excellente!

I've always loved Einstein bagels I went here yesterday and let me say my bagel was very tasty and yummy! Although one thing that really bothered me as someone in the food service industry is that there was an employee throwing up in the restroom. The overall service was great, but it bothered me that he was still there working. He happened to take my order then right after he took my order he claimed he had to go and ran to the bathroom and was making throw up sounds. It seemed like the other employees knew he was sick , and were asking each other if he was okay. So how long exactly was he there sick ? I hate to be this one customer complaining about this, but like I said I'm apart of the food industry too and I know the rules and regulations regarding being sick and around food....and I just hope he was sent home early, and did not prep/ touch any food customers were eating.

Overall it was not the best experience. There were five people working, and three did not seem to know what they were doing. My caramel macchiato did not taste good and I'm pretty sure whatever the guy made wasn't even with the right ingredients. The bagels were good though. To be fair, there were a decent amount of customers so I was not bothered by the wait. It was just a bizarre experience tbh and I will not be going back.
