OMG, I can't believe I forgot what an absolute gem this place is! I was with my buddy, and he kept calling it by a different name, so I didn't realize where we were headed. But as soon as we pulled up, it hit me--I've been here before, though it's been probably 7 or 8 years!At first glance, Eddie's Gourmet might look like a simple diner, but don't let that fool you. The menu is incredible, and the staff is just as amazing. My buddy ordered a steak and couldn't stop raving about how awesome it was. I went with the spaghetti, and wow--the meat sauce was out of this world! Every bite was packed with flavor, and it reminded me why this place is such a hidden treasure.If you haven't been to Eddie's Gourmet yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Whether it's been years or you're visiting for the first time, you won't be disappointed!

I love eddies, have been coming here before the fire and have been once after they rebuilt. Same great service. Same amazing food and portion sizes. It's a nice diner atmosphere and the bartenders/servers are friendly. They have their regulars, so you know this place is good. The pasta dishes and seasoned fries are my go tos!

If I could give this business 10 stars, I would give it 20. A gem in the city that I proudly reside in. Eddie 's fine cooking skills are above and beyond., delicious!!! The servers are so kind, a pleasant atmosphere I proudly support this business as a patron

Eddie's Gourmet has a huge menu so, took some time to decide. Since hearing of their infamous zip sauce honed in on those choices. Chose a veggie pasta with zip sauce. Added red pepper flakes and a bit of Parmesan to round out this awesome dish! Started with chicken lemon rice soup which was delicious!! Def returning as I go thru the many items I want to try!

I love a cozy diner that feels just like home. This simple yet amazing restaurant serves delicious pasta and meats that I highly recommend. The staff is kind. Eddie and his wife are just as the best

Still mind blowing amazing after all these years! I had enough chicken for 3 meals as did hubby on his pasta. Mine came with soup & salad. His came with either. Delicious and great friendly service in a cozy casual diner.

Food was really good big portions plenty of food even to share. Service was excellent. Ambience was casual with bar seats. If you need a hearty meal this is a place to go

Small diner style place with limited seating but that's part of the charm. Sat at the bar and got to watch the cooks work their magic up close. Portions are massive! Try the Hawaiian fries!

One of the best in metro Detroit! Have been coming here for years, never had a bad meal!!!The zip pasta is incredible, great soup as well! They also started serving liquor a few years ago.

I kept hearing about this place so I finally decided to stop in for some lunch. Now, I did get carry out and that maybe took a little something away from these famous Hawaiian fries. It's essentially an Alfredo sauce on steak fries. It's not that it was bad or flavorless, but it wasn't anything to come back for. I've also heard they have really good pasta here. I wasn't able to try that, but I did get the turkey club and it was pretty good. I'll have to come by again and sit down and have a proper meal here. Seemed like a lot of locals were inside and it definitely has that old school diner vibe which was refreshing.
