When I've come into work in Ann Arbor, this is 100% my favorite place to eat. REAL food. Super friendly staff. I absolutely love it.

Sorry to say this neighbor gem is no longer. You can go to their Kerrytown location but it has a very different menu. So sorry that the DTE power outages were a final blow to this terrific eatery!

Ideal for carryout and when you want something quick.EAT is great because it's close to my house and they have fresh farm-to-table items on their menu. While they do have some rotating specials on their menu, they also have sandwiches, salads and desserts that are always on the menu. My go-tos are their menu are:Grilled Tempeh Sandwich - marinated with sesame and teriyaki (I think) and then grilled. It's served with a cucumber slaw, some kind if sauce, and on grilled bread. I like it best with an egg on it (additional charge)Roasted Vegetable salad - Roasted root vegetables tossed with a balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese - enough for two or more!Chocolate pudding - decadent and flavorfulI wish they had more vegetarian options than just their tempeh sandwich and eggplant sandwich on their menu. I also wish they offered a more substantial vegetarian entree on their rotating menu. It's usually just a pasta dish with some kind of in-season vegetable. I usually skim over that section if nothing really stands out. Fair warning: a lot of their items do sell out so if you're hoping for something and it's later in the day, you might out of luck! The prices are reasonable, but it can add up if you get a lot of items on there. The space itself is very small so while they have some seating in there, it's better to order carry out and pick up the food to take home.

We had takeout from here several nights when we were in Ann Arbor. Everything was excellent. The beef pot roast was tender and plentiful with vegetables cooked perfectly and good gravy to boot. We loved the various salads we tried, and the desserts were excellent. Try the PIE and COOKIES!Also, check out Burger Tuesdays. (Yes, only on Tuesdays.) The meat is from Knights and is so juicy, tender, and tasty! The aioli it's served with and all the additions are just perfect. Call ahead and pick up on your way home from work. You will be very pleased!

OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! It deserves 10+ stars!!! Had the Korean BBQ Beef sandwich except I am gluten-free so they sautéed some spinach and put the sandwich on top of that it was served with cucumber kimchi. I've never had anything like it in my life. The flavors first in your mouth. I don't live near here. We will be making mini road trip's to Ann Arbor. Eat at Eat!!!! Only downfall is outside eating with a couple picnic tables and a small table that seats 3 & a bar that seats 4.

Things to know: this place is small, maybe 10 seats, so primarily take out and catering. The menu is eclectic, as is the staff. Very Ann Arbor. We had the pot roast and the Korean BBQ sandwich and a kid sized mac and cheese. My husband loved the the pot roast. So tender you didn't need a knife and a horseradish sauce I would bathe in. The smokiness of the grilled bun really added to the BBQ but there was so much meat you couldn't really pick it up. Hard to complain about that but didn't let you get the full effect. The only real disappointment was the mac and cheese. I know that creating a custard and pressing it down so you're eating it almost like a loaf is a thing - but it's not my thing. The flavor was good but definitely not the texture and cheesiness level I look for. But we will definitely be back, as there were several items on the menu that looked tasty.

EAT catered my daughter's wedding and the food was incredible. I got so many positive comments from other guests about how delicious it was. From simple side dishes like roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables to the roasted chicken tikka masala with raita - all was delicious. I think the stuffed poblanos changed my life ;) My only negative comment is that i ate so much i had no room for the amazing-looking desserts. But I heard they were delicious as well.

We used Eat. catering for an important event. They were sooo good! All of our guests raved about the delicious food. Their prices are extremely affordable compared to other caterers in the area. The food is fresh, unique and tasty. We had a few special requests that weren't on their catering menu and they accommodated us with no problem. They are very kind, and helpful through the whole process. I would definitely hire them again.

We used Eat to cater two birthday parties. They were absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and they were incredibly timely with the deliveries. They were also very easy to work with, especially as we were planning these parties from another state. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend!
