finally tried a dutch girl donut. This place is a detroit staple that finally reopened from covid shutdown. The line was long as people se to greatly love this place. the sweet heavenly smell around this place made it worth the wait.The donut was good. Truthfully nothing special though. A decent glazed donut ‍. I wouldn't wait in line again for this but there was nothing wrong just ok.

The best donuts in Detroit! An iconic institution that draws people from all over the metro area. No matter the time of day, (and they're open 24hrs!) you'll find at least two or more customers in the tiny shop!

I was headed south on Woodward when I had to break for a Dutch Girl where I wolfed down two coconut donuts in the car on the drive to my next appointment. As luck would have it there was a Detroit copper in front of me in line. He was friendly enough. I don't know if he wolfed down his donuts like I did mine. I do know DGD should sell a donut car wash combo deal because you'll need it after stopping here. The building is real old school. the donut prices are not:). Just saying. New obsession. As if I needed another.

Donuts were thick and dry.?I know this isn't what everyone is saying were the best donuts. I was not impressed. I won't be back.

I stopped in and placed a small order. They're still good, but not exactly as good as I remember before they closed.The donuts are FRESH, light, smaller, and more expensive! I didn't see any glazed dunkers available today. The line was out the door and down Woodward, but it moved quickly. They have street parking.

Finally tried this Detroit staple. I would give it ten stars if I could. Thankfully they are not close to me cause that would be dangerous for my thighs. Delicious is an understatement.

Early Sunday morning run. Fresh & great selection. Friendly service. Love the crispy edges of sour cream donuts. Yum.

The guy seemed irritated because I didn't know what kind of donuts I wanted.I mentioned a few donuts that I ordered previously to see if they had that kind. Add the names/flavor to the donut tray so customers won't continuously ask what kind of donuts you have. The service I received wasn't good.

There is always a line which goes fast. Staff friendly and patient. Small establishment so the line is always outside. The donuts literally melt in your mouth. The original glaze will always be my favorite.
