Can't say I was impressed on this visit , service was great Alyssa was very attentive and quick on refills and service but the food which i normally like from there just not this time ...figured we'd try the spaghetti this time but the sauce tasted burnt almost like it was from the bottom of the pot , the omelette I ordered with mushroom and Swiss with spinach lacked the flavorful punch it usually has almost like the cook had no interest today . ....now I'm not gonna recommend you don't try this place out but I will chalk it up to an off day in the kitchen

My husband and I went to breakfast at Downriver Coney Island today. My omelette and his French toast were both yummy. We will definitely go back another time. We didn't like Zorba's across the street. One more breakfast date at Ram's Horn and I'll decide which is my favorite spot.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, I believe they have new owners and the restaurant is cleaned up, fresh paint and great portions for breakfast. Solid choice for the area.

Pretty decent food and price is on par with other restaurants of this type. Place is clean. Brittany was a a very good server. My only gripe.....bring back veal!

Hello, I called today in an attempt to save your business more annoyed customers.Google, Yelp and other search engines direct customers to your Facebook page for your menu.The prices on your Facebook are substantially different than the prices I paid for carry out.What should have been an order for $16.80 was over $30!I called today just to let your restaurant know the menu on the fb isn't updated and the hostess said it was under new management. She very rudely told me that I'm looking at the wrong Facebook. (I've since searched and still can't find another DRC on FB )I thought the quality of our food was very good but I was shocked at the total when I had already priced it out beforehand based on the menu prices and it was nearly double at checkout!(Message I emailed Downriver Coney Island)

Disappointing. Another mediocre downriver Coney Island. I had the breakfast scramble omelette and did not like it at all. It was more like a plate of hash. No eggs to be seen.Partner had fish and chips. Taste was ok, but breading was not crispy.We will not be back.

Ok listen originally this place had a 5 star review for me great people big hearts all around they did military for my military father and elder discount they were great people till my dad me my 2 year old and husband went in everything was going great girl seemed sweet bearly was at the table my husband had to wave her down because we were out of drinks for the whole table we let her know about to go orders and all we got cakes and icecream also she gave my little one the smallest scoop of icecream I have ever seen in my life threw a fit about my 2 year old playing with the jelly to keep her calm as we waited cakes were thrown in the boxes and food was all just tossed arround and was over cooked and gross never and I mean never again than at the end of the night my dad let them know military and this chicken basically shouted at my vet father well I don't know who did that but we don't do that here sir so let me know when u can pay looked at each of us smugly my dad said no the night girl always gives it to us she got mad said I don't know which one but im not able to do that I called the owner and she said we have never done that so you have a great night. she did not walk away when she "called the owner" never again which sucks because night crew are so sweetAdd on to original postWe are not other people tho we r a low budget family and yall can do a blue discount but not one for our vets people who fought to make it where you can run ur business and call yourself an American shame on you and this whole company

Fries were flabby (undercooked) and if you want gravy on them, you get charged an extra $2. Extra tartar sauce with your fish? An extra $1. One side never brought to the table. Really disappointing.
