Don Christos Tequila & Tacos

We went for a date night with a few friends on a Saturday night. It was busy, but not overly busy. We made a reservation so we got sat quickly. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be going back!

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous; it's also a very big space so you shouldn't ever have to wait too long for a table. The dip trio is a great way to start especially if you've got a few people with you. The queso was my favorite part. I got the frozen mango margarita and it's pretty good. There didn't seem to be as much mango flavor as I was hoping for but it's good regardless. They definitely don't skimp on portions here! I went with the pork belly tacos. It had hot honey on it and it made the whole thing special. My only complaint was there's a little too much goat cheese on it and it's very overpowering. But it's honestly a very good taco. I hope this place is here to stay because it was a joy to dine here.

Beautiful atmosphere! We sat at the bar and tried out a few different margaritas which were decent. I may try the margarita flight next time that has rotating flavors. The food was pretty good, I ordered the fajitas which were plentiful in portion size.

Stopped in for a dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We got in just before the place started filling up. Great friendly service including the manager stopping by. Really enjoyed the margarita flight to go with our meal. The meal waa excellent. The interior feels very upscale and pleasant. Great new place for us

Service quick and efficient. Smiling, pleasant staff. Cocktail strong. Cute ambiance including patio. Food tasty but would likely not be my top choice for nearby Mexican food restaurants.

It is new, somewhere between 2-3 weeks. Nice place. Good food, slower service-assume they are working out the links. Decent tap, no Stella glass but a tulip glass is a great substitute. Grandson had shrimp tacos that he said were great (And that's all I know about shrimp)I had the beef chili burrito. It was good, shredded beef, I prefer ground but that's on me. Sadly, plastic water glasses and I just hate that.

My friend and I popped into Don Christos for their Cinco De Mayo specials, and were pleasantly surprised. The location is quite large - a square shaped wrap around bar on one side with high tops, and open seating on the other. Great for a girls night out, or a family dinner - a side for each! We enjoyed their street tacos, asada being our favorite and the margaritas were good also. I do recommend more spicy margarita options on the menu. Pricing is fair, and there's plenty of parking.

We love Don Christos Cigar room so we were excited to hear they were opening a new restaurant in the area. The spot they took over used to be Shields and then Rocky's. It's been empty for quite some time. I wasn't thrilled to have another taco place in the area. We have quite a few. But we were very excited to see what they did with the space! It looks so different! And it looks gorgeous!! The bar area is huge! The decor is bright and airy. There are plants throughout the restaurant side and there is still a private back room for parties. Beautiful art adorns the walls. There's a patio area and they added roll up windows that will open to fresh air in the summer. I hate air conditioning so that makes me extremely happy! There were plenty of servers and they were definitely hustling. The restaurant is huge and it was packed. They were extremely friendly and attentive. Everyone was smiling and genuinely seemed happy! You would have never guessed that they just opened last week! I would have liked to see a much broader cocktail list and tequila flights, but hopefully this will come. They only had 4 custom cocktails. They also had three choices of frozen margaritas. Mango, strawberry, and lime. They also do not offer complimentary chips and salsa. That's an extra charge. The food was delicious. We chose the senora street tacos, and carne asada tacos. Absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely be back!

I would say this is a fairly good restaurant.The interior is spacious, naturally lit, and vibrant.Wasn't very busy at all for a Friday night and we go out every Friday to many restaurants that are very busy, so it was surprising to us.It never got busy the whole time we were there, so even more surprising.Great atmosphere and the food was pretty good with honest portions.I would say on par with most restaurants.The chips and salsa were complimentary. At least the first serving which is all we had. They did show up on the bill but were priced at $.00, so I think they got the message on charging for them on earlier reviews. The staff was very young, along with professional and helpful. Our waitress was energetic and cheerful. She did a good job of taking care of our orders and making sure everything was fine throughout the meal. She went missing after dropping off the bill for some reason, so we took care of it with another staff member. Overall a decent place to go to.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. A lot of great choice on the menu to try different things you might not have thought of.
