Came here for the first time recently, and we were instantly greeted by extremely friendly staff who gave us some background on the cookie dough and ice cream. There were a variety of flavors for cookie dough which are all homemade. Additionally, all the ice cream is from Wisconsin which, i did not know, is the ice cream state. Had one scoop of cookie dough and one scoop of ice cream, and both were very rich in flavor. Definitely perfect for those with a sweet tooth, but it can be too sweet for some. It will be worth a visit to check out the cookie dough and ice cream

Buyer beware. Find it hard to believe it's possible to mess up cookie dough but this place can and did. Both cookie doughs we bought tasted like nothing but churned butter. If I wanted to eat a stick of butter I would have just bought a stick of butter. Beyond disappointed.

This place used to be Dino's Coney Island & I heard that the owners were looking to switch things up, so rebranded, remodeled, & reopened as a cookie dough bar! Such innovation :) I've been meaning to try this place for years now, because I really love cookie dough, and I can't believe it took me this long to finally try it! The concept is just delightful, albeit probably a bit too modern for downtown Rochester's overall vibes, but regardless - I thoroughly enjoyed it!They have so many varieties of cookie dough options, more than I thought existed, & operate the same way an ice cream shop would. You pick your flavors & how many scoops you want & they scoop it all up and package it for you!Keep in mind though that one scoop of cookie dough is way more dense & rich than a scoop of ice cream is, so if you can't handle your sweets like I can't & just unfortunately have a much smaller sweet tooth than you wish you did, I'd recommend going for the kids cup. I made the mistake of ordering a normal scoop of cookie dough and barely made it halfway before I had to quit because my throat was burning from the overwhelming sweetness! Obviously, it's nice because - unlike ice cream - you can pop this into the fridge when you get home and finish it the following day as well, so it doesn't go to waste :) But I would say plan for getting less than you'd normally expect yourself to eat because it overwhelms the palette much quicker than you'd expect!BONUS: There's still a little walk up window at the back of the shop where you can order your breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner coney island cravings, which I think is so smart! :)

I thought the cookie dough here was delicious. I was very impressed that they offered both keto and vegan cookie dough options and were willing to educate people regarding the keto diet. I would for sure come back to try again.

Great concept for a decadent dessert. The cookie dough is delicious and fills that desire for something sweet after a good dinner. I chose to give this place three stars for a few reasons: the overall customer experience is not awesome. We've been there twice and both times left feeling meh. The cashier was less than friendly and seemed overworked or stressed. The cleanliness is not the greatest even though it's a brand new place. Lastly, the line was out the door both times that we visited. Not a good flow to the way it's laid out.Update: I have visited several times since my last review in hopes to like this place. Every time I have gone in I seem to experience major attitude issues from the workers, particularly the one with pink hair. And it seems like it's not just to me but to other customers as well, as if it's an inconvenience to place an order.

They have some of the best cookie dough ever! We got four scoops in total and my favorite by far was the coconut cream cheese dough! It tasted like a raffaello if you've ever had one of those before! The peanut butter, and the classic choc chip were all very good too. Pretty obsessed with this concept and hope more places catch on to it. It's superrrrr sweet though so a couple of bites and you'll be satisfied. The owner told me he uses ultra pasteurized eggs and heat treated flour to keep us safe which I thought was interesting. Most places leave the egg out but I wasn't worried about that. Overall fun concept and a great addition to downtown rochester!

Highly recommend. This edible cookie dough is much better then other edible cookie dough that I have tried. I thought the cookie dough paired with the ice cream was a perfect treat. We had very friendly service (she was also very helpful since I was a first timer). Will definitely be back to try other flavors.

My daughter has been wanting to try this place, The PB cookie dough was a lot better then the funfetti, overall kind of buttery taste to both. The funfetti tasted like butter with sugar...kids were not impressed and didn't finish the little scoop they got. The staff was nice, place was clean inside.

Love the cookie dough choices (and the taste) and the ice cream is super creamy yummy. One of each is a great combo. A bit pricey ($7 for two scoops)

So I want to start this review with making a clam that I have never actually been a customer here and this review does not pertain to the actual quality of the product but instead pertains to the customer service received by the owner. I am new to the rochester area since I don't live in the area. Myself and a friend decided to take a fun bike ride on the painted creek trail to downtown Rochester to get some sanders chocolate. Once we got to Rochester we had to look for a place to store our bike (a bike rake) and we found one next to Dino's. After we got back from getting our sanders, we went back to the bike rack and we were met by the owner. The owner very quickly explained that this was his bike rack and that it was very rude of us to use it and then go to a different establishment. Now in the owners defence, we were in the wrong and was using his bike rack that was intended to be used by his customers but this was a accident. For this reason I said I was very sorry and then I explained we honestly didn't know and thought it was just another city bike rack just like all the other green city racks that looked just like it. I wanted to explain to him that there was no bad intentions on our end and that we would be more then happy to come into the store and make a purchase to make-up our wrong doing but instead of hearing us out, he decided to ironically be rude himself and blow off our apology for our mistake and shut/locked the door behind him after calling us rude yet again and turning his back. Not a great way to handle interactions with the public who would have been more then happy to frequent his establishment. Unfortunate to say that I probably won't be coming into Dino's after this interaction if this is how the owner wishes to Portray his establishment to the public.I would like to welcome the owner to contact me to hear me out so I can appropriately say sorry. Contact me at [email protected] if you wish. Thank you.
