Dimitri's Opa Restaurant

Well, let's start with how huge the menu is for this restaurant, wow! My co-workers and I were recommended to try Dimitri's last month, bc we were having a get together after work to exchange gifts. We were told there was a private seating area that we could book for a party of 15. So that's how we started.Unfortunately when I arrived to the restaurant, we could not sit in the private room, although it was booked, as I believe the room was booked prior from someone we were told always book the room in advance. That did leave a little bit of a nasty taste for me, bc as the party of 15 sat there for a couple of hours, I didn't see anyone go back to the private area. Anyway, we still worked everything out in the main dining area. The staff were really great in assisting our party!Everyone in the party stated that they enjoyed their food, people ordered everything from salads, nachos, pork chop dinner, soup, and shrimp dinner. I split the trio appetizer with two people, which it was enough food to split with several people. The portions of food was massive! I enjoyed the food! And the half off appetizers! For the amount of food I received, plus two alcoholic drinks, I believe the bill was only $16.00. Our waiter was so awesome! I will revise this review once I get his name (as I'm going back to the restaurant in a couple of weeks for a holiday party with my coworkers again). But the waiter was great! And did such a great job with our party! I look forward to returning and trying out other menu items, as there is such a large variety to choose from.

Great food and service. The Qebapa was excellent. Sausage with Feta. All around great experience!

Stopped In for breakfast after my granddaughter's soccer games and boy glad I did. Our waitress was great and very attentive, the food was outstanding and they give huge portions. It's a Greek restaurant and you can tell as all the food is fresh and tasty. It has a small bar area too if you want a mimosa or Bloody Mary which is cool. Definitely coming back as my omelet was delicious.

A pleasant surprise on a long road trip 23 mile n Gratiot. Fabulous mega Meat Greek Kebob's Chicken and Ribeye Steak with Patty of Beefteki mixed Pork n Beef delicious . Started with a bowl of Chicken Noodles Soup and basket of Hot Puffy Rolls. Really hard to find the Authentic Greek Summer Salad HoriatakiA traditional Greek salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncini and olives and green peppers. Topped with feta cheese, oregano and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Spot on Wonderful Wowed a must try great for sharing. Fast friendly service our waitress a keeper. Had lots of leftovers which I enjoyed that evening. Full Bar and Breakfast, I'm sure place packs them in Breakfast and Dinner. Very good Greek food!! Spinach Pie with veggies was delicious. The home fries were cool perfect and the Canolli pancakes were amazing!

My husband and I have been eating here for a few years now. Glad to see it survived COVID! I love a few of their dishes that I get on repeat esp grilled chicken Caesar salad.Tonight my husband stopped to pick me up some lemon chicken rice soup bc I'm sick and it did not disappoint!!! It's rich and thick both was just what I needed tonight!

First time ordering breakfast here. Dimitri's Sunriser...2 eggs over easy (perfect) ham (dry) hash browns and rye toast. Super irritating plate that kept revolving on the table, I felt like I was eating from a lazy susan.

This spot is a reliable, family-owned local business, and it's even decorated for Christmas right now. The food is delicious, comes out in large portions, and comes out quick even when the restaurant is packed. The service is friendly and prompt. This will always be our top pick when going to breakfast or brunch.

Absolutely the best food and servers. The staff were very respectful and very friendly. They had this catering at my wedding and everybody loved the food!!!!! I will be having them cater again in the future for future events. A+!!!!!!

Used to frequent this place a lot pre-pandemic. Always received good food and service.The problem today is the cost of their dinners. Most of my favorites have doubled in price.If money is not an issue, I highly recommend this place.
