They have been doing bagels and sandwiches right since 1960!This morning i visited and ordered a bagel, w/ egg, sausage & Swiss. It was excellent! I only wish I had tried them sooner.

CONSISTENT DELICIOUS AND FRESH BAGELS. FAST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE.This isn't a dine in location, even if there is a small ledge for you to eat. I usually order and eat in my car or eat at home. Ive been coming here for years before and after the pandemic and they are still the exact same small business as when I first stepped foot in it. This is and will be my favorite bagel place in Michigan.

Everything goes well when buying real bagels!! These are the best bagels around and worth the drive from downriver.

My favorite bagel shop in the area for many reasons, but mainly because they know how to do bagels right! These bagels are boiled, then baked, which makes them supreme in my opinion. Grab some fresh made cream cheese while you're there too! My favorite way to eat them is with plain cream cheese, a slice of tomato, and topped off with flake salt.

WOW what a bagel. Awful service and mediocre ambiance. My bagel also lacked a lot of finesse in the sense the sandwich was poorly constructed. Don't even bother to ask for tomato and onion. But I think this place is still worth a trip just to try how good the actual bagel is. I would not toast the bagel. I would try it fresh with a nice flavor of cream cheese, you can add your toppings at home, if you would like. My sandwich was lopsided and had a gigantic piece of onion on it that I had to remove because it was cut so poorly, but I just removed the onion and finished it anyway because the bagel was sincerely that good.

I've gotta say, the quality of this place has slipped.Don't get me wrong, the bagels are fine. You can still come here if you want to pick up a good bag of bagels and some cream cheese spread to go. You'll be golden.If you wany anything else? You're going to have a little trouble.We've been in a few times over the past few months, and they struggle to put together their breakfast sandwiches. We've only ever seen one woman making the sandwiches, and she looks like she's struggling and could use some help. In our last three visits, our breakfast sandwiches have been wrong every single time.On one occassion, we did try something new and got the hot corned beef on a bagel and the original reuben. They were lackluster at best. Stick with the breakfast sandwiches. (Also the upcharge for the corned beef and reuben seemed wildly overpriced, even with some wiggle room for inflation these days.)You want bagels and cream cheese. Get some great bagels. But DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER. I repeat. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER. We've usually opted to eat our sandwiches inside (they have a few tables you can sit at). Not only were our orders consistently wrong (but we weren't in the mood to wait again because these sandwiches do not come fast) but we saw person after person after person pick up their order, drive away, only to come back 10 minutes later.This place could use a revamp in the way it's run. Personally, I think the owner has been letting things slide.

Good New York style bagels in Livonia. Ambiance has a nice east coast bagel shop feel!

Tried their pumpernickel bagel which has a good flavor, especially when you just happen to bite on one of those pumpernickel seeds. I had mine with spiced pumpkin butter spread. If I go to this place again, maybe I'll get their breakfast bagel (with eggs and cheese) which was only like $3.

Got a pizza bagel from here and went to my car to eat it. It tastes like it was microwaved! It's soggy mush! I really wanted to like this place :(

I was here the first time a few weeks ago and was greeted by such polite employees, and my bagels were tasty! The Inside was very clean too.I stopped here this morning on my to work, although I was not feeling well. However, the food, service, and surroundings inside were great! This morning the gentleman at the cash register told me to feel better, and he didn't charge me for my bagel! How nice is that on a dark chilly rainy morning?
