Detroit 75 Kitchen

Came here while in Detroit. I follow them on social media and absolutely love the way the owner treats his employees and his videos. I had to check him out in person. It's a food truck so no service and they have tables outside if you want to eat there. I had the Strawberry Lemonade which was great, sweet and tart. Also tried the 3rd Street Detroit Cheesesteak. It was an untraditional cheesesteak but delicious. The bun was crunchy but not hard with Sesame seeds on top. Everything in the cheesesteak was flavorful and seasoned. It came with a dipping sauce but honestly it was not necessary. I had their famous Cilantro Garlic fries that had me smacking all the way home and came with a homemade roasted pepper ketchup that elevated this food truck meal. The entire meal was tasty and satisfying and will be back to try the rest of the items.

I heard good things about this place so I went straight here from the airport. The food truck was set up right next to the gas station. The set up was like an outdoor garden. There were many picnic tables with umbrellas. I asked the cashier you recommendations and she recommended Detroit Philly. The portion was huge, good enough for two meals. The sandwich didn't really taste like Philly cheesesteak but it's very good. I liked that sweet pickled jalapeños add some kicks. The bread was crunchy but not hard. It came with a dip but it's already flavorful enough without the dip. I tried a bite with it and It tasted good though.There wasn't no service per se but that's expected for a food truck. I enjoyed my food. I would take it to go and enjoy it at riverside park next time.

When they say best food truck in America, they aren't kidding. Don't be fooled by the location; Detroit 75 Kitchen is incredible. The sandwiches are so flavorful. The po boy stacked up to some I tried in New Orleans years ago. And the cilantro garlic fries? Some of the best I've had in recent memories -- and worth the garlic breath. The only bummer is that they aren't open on weekends! I lucked out with a weekday in Detroit and Detroit 75 Kitchen didn't disappoint. I hope we can make it back here sometime soon!

Over priced and over hyped came here at 6:30 Friday the dude at the front window jamming out to earPODS not even be able to hear what we are trying to order then when he turns down his music he wants to have a attitude. We Order a fish sandwich and a lemonade and fries some how my bills was 42$ for a one person meal i know our world is doomed as this is becoming the norm. The sandwich was 7/10 the lemonade would give you diabetes 4/10 added water to water it down .... And the fries even know they were cold 9/10 unique flavors, but with the pricing I won't be back. And honestly, it's a very very hard location to find. I understand that it's on the side of the building but at night it was pitch dark super hard to find

Our party of 3 ordered Garlic Cilantro Fries and Hickory Smoked Wings (3 pieces per order) to share, and a sandwich each. I tried their Atwater Chicken sandwich ($11) which is described on the menu as Atwater Chicken"lettuce, tomato, sweet pickled jalapenos, and garlic cilantro aioli" -- hmm, it was just a typical oversized sandwich. Everyone raves about these guys on social media and while I very much support small businesses, I believe any spot (especially one gaining so much attention on social) should be stellar for the food they put out AND service. I think these guys missed the mark on service for me -- the young man and young lady were not pleasant at all. Not to go into too much detail but it wasn't fun to put in the order at the window nor was it fun to return to the window to ask for extra condiments, napkins, etc.The food was good, not the best I have ever had but not terrible. It's a 3.5 stars for me but I'm bumping them up to a solid 4 because they were still putting forth the effort to doing business in freezing temperatures (yes, 30 degrees during the day is very cold to me).

Got the Fisher Fwy (Catfish) which is essentially a po boy. It was sooo good with garlic fries wish they had a little more garlic on them though. Service was great I asked for 1 more ketchup and they gave me one! Ambiance is good eats a great food truck!

We came here - all the way from Tampa Bay, FL for the food. I have been following them on Instagram. The owner post not only their delicious looking sandwiches but also good business advice and kitchen hacks. The service is outstanding. Health issues forced me to be 100% gluten free and they were able to accommodate even though they don't have gluten free bread yet they do have Lake Erie fresh walleye fish! So kind of them to make me something special. It was 10am so the crowds haven't arrived yet. My significant other ordered the chef special, the 3rd Street Cheesesteak and famous garlic cilantro fries. So good! Wow!We lucked out- the weather was amazing so we took advantage of their great outdoor seating area. Loved how they have a large seating area so bring your family & friends. Don't forget to get a large glass of their famous Strawberry Lemon, so good! Highly recommend.

Got the I -75 shawarma and cilantro fries which both are delicious and that jalapeno ketchup is the best with those fries ....it's always a treat when I'm in the area when I can stop in I love this place HIGHLY SUGGEST TRYING this place out

Overall very good sandwiches. The fries are a bit soft, which isn't my type of fry. The area is not very safe-feeling, and it's not clear where you are supposed to park. It's on a busy/loud road, so the outdoor seating isn't ideal. Overall nice place to grab a sandwich for a reasonable price.

Love the food and have been dying to try it! I promise it won't disappoint everything was clean and very delicious. Not your ordinary food truck!
