I had double cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and western omelet and two coneys. I must say, they follow instructions very well, I wanted no mustard on my double cheeseburger and it was noted! My double cheeseburger was delicious, it was on a fresh sesame seeded bun with my burger meat grill perfect with onions, tomatoes, pickles and mayo and it was put together so well, not messy or sloppy,, I give it a A+. My chili cheese fries was hot and always good. (A+). Western omelette was delicious, I had it for dinner later and it warmed up well in microwave, only objection was my hash browns, they were too crispy, where they was hard, and no that wasn't because of the micro, I tasted when it arrived, they were little to done(C-), can't go wrong with toast just need to butter it, ppl like buttered toast unless specified. All in all my the western omelette breakfast I give a B*. So since they actually take note of what you want here, I would tell them how I want it because they won't disappointThe two coneys, it's Detroit, nobody Coney dogs suck but if a Coney Island hot dogs is disgusting , trust the whole place food sucks! The coneys dogs get an A+ here! When they call themselves Detroit Finest Coney Island, you definitely get the finest and that's what you should get!I definitely recommend this place!. Decent breakfast spot. Everything is made to order which is nice. Not fancy but solid. Lots of choices. Lots. You can light with a small breakfast or just a sandwich or you can go large with a 3 egg omelette. Pancakes in tall or short stacks. Lots of flavors. Cinnamon bun pancakes! I've been here twice and really liked it.

This was the perfect place to eat for lunch during our day of Detroit museums. It's new, stylish, and very clean. The menu was extensive, w something for everyone...But would it be good?? It was!!Our group of 7 got great service, and the food was delish. Everyone loved the fresh fries. The onion rings were battered and soooo good, too.The "Dinty Moore" was a nice grilled corned beef & Swiss. I got the slaw on the side because I was afraid it might be a soggy mess, but it would have been fine. The fish & chips were not huge chunks, but the three pieces were a good amount of fish and tasted great for a $10 plate. Another got a slider plate w 3 nice-sized ham sliders.I liked a motivational sign they had by the registers: "Some succeed because they are destined to.Others succeed because they are determined too."Yeah, that's the spirit we need to revive Detroit! There was a lot of care evident here. Dining room & bathroom felt clean, and they were spraying weeds in the parking lot, keeping it looking nice. There was an event going on during our visit where the restaurant donated proceeds to community programs of the 5th precinct police, like stuff for kids and families like trunk-or-treat and things. What a beautiful way to give back! The event held a raffle while we were there, and I loved seeing the community support for those who serve and protect us. We didn't know it was happening when we chose to go there, but it was great to see. Everyone was friendly to us.I would bring my kids here the next time we come to Belle Isle or the museums. It was a nice find near the downtown area!

Mmm.. I often crave their Renaissance Skillet: Grilled chicken, eggs over easy, spinach, cheese, hash browns like the delicious golden crispy ones from elementary school.. delicious local coney, FAR SUPERIOR to any other coney- far less greasy. Great breakfasts!

I have to change my review . The food is horrible now. I've tried it on 3 separate occasions. Every single time my breakfast was soooooooo burnt. They tried to cover it up because the meat was going into an omelet . My chicken was burnt for a salad, and I got sick off the corn beef eggrolls. I'm never returning. This place used to be so delicious

Now they have 4 TVs, and the dining room is open 7-7 mon-sat, and 7-4 sunday. Drive thru is open till midnight nightly. This place just gets better and better! Check out the daily specials!

If I could give them a zero for ignoring the law and not caring about their customers I would.This review is for the Detroit's Finest on E Jefferson in Detroit. I've been frequenting this place for both carryout and dine in since they opened. During the pandemic, exclusively for carryout. I generally order inside as it goes faster, and the background noise on the phone is deafening. As a side note, the entire staff has turned over during the pandemic. Today 10.11.20 I went in for a carryout, wearing a mask. There was one other customer in the place, very odd for a Sunday. He had a mask. I ordered. As I waited for my order I realized that NONE of the workers that I was observing in the restaurant were wearing masks. The two cooks didn't have a mask on. The three women did not have masks. Of the three, two had a mask, wearing it around their neck, a pointless gesture. Doing food prep without a mask. Just terrible. I don't see the point of the plastic shield at the cash register if everyone is maskless, breathing on the food and customers.I asked for a refund, complaining about the lack of masks, and left. Never again.

I don't know what happened to this place. Used to be very good for a little Coney Island the last six months food straight up garbage will not be returning we used to go to sometimes three times a week also don't see many of the original staff that used to be there maybe that's a sign
