Finally was able to try their vegan soft serve. Last time I went they were out of vanilla flavor, only chocolate was available and I'm not a chocolate ice cream fan (yeah, I know it sounds weird).Anyway, I was super pumped that they have Biscoff cookies and spread, so you can make your own mud, as they call it. I had a junior size and it was perfect for my needs that day. The vegan soft serve is not the best I've had, but still good.

While we no longer live in the Detroit area we still enjoy visiting Dairy-Go-Round when we visit. A traditional ice cream stand they still have the colorful stationary Merry-Go-Round horses for kids to enjoy. A great place for families to visit and enjoy delicious ice cream treats. Adequate parking, wide menu, and fast service. The specialty is the Creamsicle twist cone, a vanilla/orange mix. They have changed to a sorbet from the original sherbet. The sorbet has brighter orange flavor but the texture of the sherbet was a better match.

Amazing ice cream place. Everything you can get is really good especially the Christmas in July. The service is very nice and the workers are nice too. The ambiance is very great and overall 10/10 place.

Loved coming to this place! I had been wanting to try it for awhile and stopped by after the art fair. The menu is so big (almost too big)! After checking things out we placed our order and received our items fairly quickly. The employees were very nice and worked fast. Love the cute little horses that fit the merry-go-round theme outside :) the ice cream was super delicious and I'm looking forward to going back and trying something new

I swear I want to bring this style of Soft Serve Ice Cream back to NM. There's nothing like this back there and I know the locals would just love it! This is one of the many quintessential examples of Midwest Soft-Serve ice cream joints that serve wonderful, creative ice cream treats while building memories that last a life time. I can still remember the first time I was allowed to get a banana split...I hit my first home run and, well...that was the rule. The coach "Had" to buy you one, if you hit one... :). I remember the first time my older brother had me try a "Boston Cooler"...a local to Detroit only (really) type of ice cream drink (Verners and Ice Cream) that none of know how it got it's name...lol. IT's places like these that become referernce points in time that you can't wait to pass along to your own kids or friends, whether they want to hear or not...lol. In short, it's simply delicious ice cream that's part of the culture - a memorable part of our culture that can be and is, enjoyed by everyone! Oh...and...yes....the ice cream here rocks!

I saw that this place had a 4.5 star rating, so I decided to give it a try! Unfortunately, the ice cream was very lack luster. My fiancé got a plain vanilla cone, which he said didn't taste like much. It was lacking flavor and he said that Dairy Queen is much better! I got coffee mocha infused vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate, in a waffle cone. My ice cream, even though it had the "flavor infusion", barely tasted like anything! The reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the waffle cone was delicious and tasted like cinnamon, plus the staff were all very nice and friendly. It's a shame their ice cream was so awful :(
