Where do I start...Over 27 years ago my family moved from NYC to this little town of Hamtramck. It was a community of all of us immigrants who managed to build a little pocket of our motherlands confined in a 2 square mile radius. Most of our parents were struggling to make ends meet, and being able to eat out (let alone have a place to hang out and chill) was unheard of back then. To come back to Hamtramck and see a place like this being opened for the community, by the people of community, makes my heart swell SO much. Because everyone deserves a slice of luxury every now and again. The place is decorated minimally, but I found it tasteful. I had the pleasure of speaking to Mahmoud the owner, and you can see from the light in his eyes that he opened it with a heart full of hope and a dream of serving the community something they have never had before. The menu is a delight, and I disagree with what one comment said about the portions being tiny. They are priced pretty comparatively to what many other shops charge for their portions. At the end of the day, this is a small business. The coffee was MAGNIFICENT so I will definitely be coming here to work all the way from Sterling Heights. I got the caramel latte with oatmilk and it was a dream. 10/10, and I do not say this lightly. If you like strong coffee, this is a must try. This place is honestly a pocket of joy in Hamtramck and I cannot wait to see it flourish.

I called the cafe after seeing a list of spots that carry Dubai Chocolate Bars. I was told they had the pistachio bars and I made a plan to go that morning! I've seen them fly off the shelf when I went to another location, much farther away.I was greeted with a smile by the same guy that answered the phone when I called. They have lots of treat options, including pancakes inspired by the candy bar I purchased. The bar is good! I will definitely return to this spot for more!The cafe is roomy and clean with cute decorations. They have street parking.

This place has a lot of potential. They have a good selection of desserts. The interior decor needs some work. There is so much empty space inside that it feels uncomfortable to sit inside. The service was good and very friendly. At first glance the menu seems very affordable. But when you see the portions you understand why it's so cheap. The portion sizes are TINY. The waffle sticks were maybe 4 inches. We also tried the mini pancakes which were ok. With other similar dessert places, I don't see myself coming back here unless they made major changes.

I've recently started coming to Dairy Fairies. The ambience and atmosphere is really nice and relaxing with instrumental music of all genres that just puts you in such a good mood. My favorite coffees and treats here would have to be a caramel macchiato with sweet cold foam, I get my caramel sugar free for diet restrictions, but the staff will work with you to customize as best as they can to your liking. I also like the egg and cheese on a croissant or a bagel. Really hits the spot! The staff are really friendly and personable people. They have fun treats such as crepes, milk cakes, boba tea which is a fun item to have on the menu, I haven't seen a lot of cafes offer that around here, so that's a nice twist! I've tried the lotus milk cake and it is really good. They also have the Dubai bar and sell the entire bar or the pieces in individual squares for $1 each. This place is nice for friends, families, students and is a great co working space!

I highly recommend the Kanafa pancake stacks as well as the Yemeni latte! Very friendly staff and guided us when ordering and they were spot on with my order. Cool little set up inside and next time I'm in the Detroit area I will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely awesome, a true GEM. The Staff were friendly and made plenty of recommendations. You must try the Yemeni Latte and the Kanafa Stacks, they were delicious.

hands down best crepes I've had in Michigan! lived here my whole life and never found a spot that does crepes like Dairy Fairies in Hamtramck! so lucky that this spot is within walking distance for me! I recommend this spot to anyone who'll listen to me rant about how amazing their strawberry banana Nutella crepes look and taste! Yemeni lattes are good too! workers make you feel like your apart of the family, they're so nice and welcoming! you can tell they truly take their time handcrafting your plate just for you! definitely worth a stop! :)
