I stopped at Cutter's Bar to decompress after a hard day of work. They are known for their burgers.I ordered a cheeseburger and a peach martini.Honestly, I didn't really enjoy either. My burger was overcooked, and the drink tasted very basic.I can see this being a great place for regulars. Even groups would have fun there.The music was popping. It was the highlight of the visit.It's worth trying again. Perhaps I'll go with a regular and order what they normally order.

Classic Detroit bar. Had a stuffed mushroom cheese burger and a couple beers while watching a game. Service was very friendly and attentive and the crowd was a good vibe as well.

This is a wonderful little bar that serves food in the Easter Market area. I had the steak bites and fried dill pickle spears and they were delicious! The servers were quick and nice and the business was very clean.

Good burger and fries. I ordered the burger medium well. It came well done but was still good. The fries were handcut and crispy outside but light inside. We came around 5:30 on a Thursday, there was already a decent crowd at the bar and the music was super loud and we had to yell to talk. Just be aware of that if you're looking for a chill spot to have a conversation or have kids.

The service was good, our waitress was friendly. I enjoyed everything. I just wish they played music constantly instead of having to pay for songs. People kept buying songs, so you didn't really notice until the music stopped. I have no complaints about any of the food. I ate every darn fry, even the little ones. Everything was cooked as we ordered, so I'll be back real soon. If you're downtown in the eastern market district, I recommend you give this place a try. Oh, and they have a full bar.

Cutter's was a good choice when I was craving a burger. Had some friends tell me about it and I had to go try their Stuffed Burger to see what it was about. The hype was validated, it was nice and juicy and hit the spot. Service was attentive and vibes were good. The only knock is that the fries were kind of meh but the burger absolutely made up for it. Will definitely be back to Cutter's to try some of the other good-looking things on the menu.

So, understand if you are not a regular, you may not be served badly, but you won't be served warmly and will barely receive eye contact if at all. Servers don't follow up with you, so it's best to get your order in at one time. Servers do not smile, tell you their name, and I was told with indignation, "we don't have a drink menu". They do, however, generously imbibe behind the bar. You will have to eyeball the bar and what other guests may have ordered to get an idea of what beer they have. Anyhow, places like this serve a niche clientele, that is, either you, or it's not. People who are regulars obviously love it. My burger was fine for the price point, but it was overcooked. Expect a well done burger regardless of what you request. They are not hurting for business so you will fit in with the culture or just go somewhere else. No need to be a hater, there's always another place suitable to your liking.

If you find yourself in the Eastern Market area this is a place to stop at. What can I say...I mean it's Cutter's!! If you want a Cheers vibe well this your to go to spot. The drinks are good and the food is even better. You must know though that it can get pretty crowded and you will be standing but well it's worth it.
