Custard Spot

After a nice dinner at a local place, we decided to stop for a treat. We normally stop somewhere else in the area, but their weekly flavors were not down our lane. I like that the Custard Spot has kids sundaes at really good prices, so you're not paying a lot for a big serving a kid can't finish. And so many options and flavors! Friendly folks at the window, and a nice spot with tables and benches in back to sit and enjoy. Cash only, so lei that in mind. This is some awesome custard and might be our new go-to spot.

This little place has been around for years which speaks volumes right there. The menu is expansive and the custard is delicious. There's plenty of tables to enjoy your treat at their outdoor seating in the backyard. The service is usually prompt and friendly. The parking area is a very short distance away and best of all, it's paved. (There's another popular custard place nearby but their lot is dirt and gravel which makes it a messy place to park if the weather isn't great). So it's a big plus to come here just for that reason alone. The menu has so many choices, you'll have to come back again and again and again.

Solid little ice cream spot with a variety of flavors and excellent service. Don't know if it would be a destination, but definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area and looking for ice cream.

Very good custard and hard dip - CASH ONLY. Have been there several times - nice place to sit and good parking . Might be a line.....

This has been a staple in Utica for awhile the owners are extremely friendly and the ice cream is very reasonably priced

Warning this place is cash only... super annoying and you have to plan ahead if you don't normally carry cash. Also the line moved very slowly. Husband and I both got Gurnsey hand dipped ice cream and of course it was great since it's from Gurnsey. We liked how the cones had drip catchers. However the spoon was very pliable making it hard to eat the hand packed ice cream. Overall the whole experience was just ok but the Gurnsey ice cream was good. We will probably stick with our usual Dairy Queen unless we want the hand dipped ice cream.

Delicious as I remember it being several years ago when I used to walk here from my sisters house in the neighborhood behind it! It's been YEARS since I got to enjoy the Custard Spot and it did not disappoint! My brownie batter flurry was excellent and my significant other's Oreo cheesecake flurry was loaded with toppings. We both ordered the medium size and it was A LOT! another great thing about The Custard Spot is that they have featured flavors all season long. I remember my parents taking us every couple of weeks as kids so THEY could try the limited edition flavors! Definitely worth a visit!

Favorite place in the area for icecream sundaes - have lots of options. Guernseys ice cream is a great option if frozen custard isn't your thing.

Amazing staff. Amazing custard. Fantastic selection of flavors! We love grabbing our evening sweet treat from the Custard Spot!
