Coffee First Cafe & Bake Shoppe

We came here because of a Things To Do in Metro Detroit recommended coffee shop for coffee flights. It's a small shop that's easy to miss but when you walk in, you are immediately welcomed with a comfy atmosphere, friendly smiles and wonderful aromas of coffee and bakery items. We ordered the #4 coffee flight (hot) but didn't want the Lavender one so they let us make a substitution. They made no issue over that and I appreciated that. They are super flexible even asking if we wanted it hot or cold. The coffees were fun to try - they are very sweet so beware!We also ordered a raspberry white scone, a chocolate croissant and a egg, cheese and bacon croissant with Tater tots. The scone was chocolate croissant were warmed. We didn't love the scone (it had more of a thick cookie consistency) but the croissant was really good. The egg, cheese and bacon croissant was on a different type of croissant - it was far sturdier to hold all the insides. It was really good and I always appreciate tater tots though these weren't specialty - just plain. I really liked the vibe in this place as well as the coffee. I will return to try others as well as some different food options. I'm giving them a 5 for the coffee, the great customer service and the laid back atmosphere. As an added bonus, be sure to check your Monopoly Go as they are happy to swap stickers!

Super cute, cozy, and quaint cafe! Off the bat the place was very nice looking and I appreciated the cute small business corner they had as well games tucked away to the side. The barista was nice and helpful when answering our questions.My friend and I really wanted to try their coffee flights so we got Valentine's Day special. All of which were lattes as the barista said. We got them all iced and were very yummy! We liked how they were presented and our ranking of the drinks were 1) Nutty Ex (the pistachio flavor was really nice), 2) Sweetheart, 3) Dozen Flowers, and 4) French Kiss. We all also ordered their Hot Cake, Sausage, Cheese and Egg item which was good. My friends got the Strawberry Lemonade which they noted had a lot of ice so they would ask for light ice next time. Overall, nice experience and would come again!

Been here a few times for a quick bite to eat, a coffee, a coffee flight, or any combination of the three.Any time we go in it seems like they have different treats to choose from and different coffee options. The coffees are really tasteful and sometimes pretty strong too! So you sometimes may be levitating out of the coffee shop!The flights are very interesting and very filling. We've had the flight that offers each kind of coffee beverage, the frappe one (during different seasons), and the iced coffee one. I think there's one more but they're all really good. They're kind of pricey but totally worth it!Their breakfast sandwiches I like the most. The nice and toasty biscuit, egg, cheese, and sausage patty is always delicious!

Doris 100% approved.This is the cutest little coffee shop. The staff is friendly, the signs are adorable, and helps make it easy for anyone not to be intimidated by fancy coffee drinks.Spooky yet fun Halloween music was playing when we walked in this morning around 840an and the little shop was festive which tells me the owner cares a lot and has deep pride in the store, I liked this a lot. Everything looked clean and not covered in dust. It's super small town vibes located in a strip mall plaza, tons of parking, and a big red sign.The food, treats, and pastries all looked really fresh. I didn't purchase a treat but next time I'll give them a try.Doris fans... i recommend giving this place a try and holding off on your Starbucks or big chain stores... help a local coffee shop, leave with a smile and totally enjoy their coffee. :-)

I came in with my family. Three kiddos and three adults. They were so friendly and so polite. Their coffee was pretty good and my kiddos loved their cake pops.

Amaizngly nice people. I come here often, and they usually know what I want when I come in. I feel I'm always greeted and sometimes they have my order when I show up.The coffee and teats are really good. Good prices. I'd recommend coming here.

Came to try out the establishment. The ladies behind the register were nice. The cafe itself looked cozy and cute. Ordered a vanilla iced coffee with oat milk. Wanted one of their breakfast sandwiches, but they were out. The iced coffee was okay, definitely too sweet for my liking. Overall would try again if I'm in the area

Great peppermint mocha and fresh muffins, Very friendly and pleasant to do business with. Quaint little coffee shop, that's warm and cozy. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Great little coffee shop! We got a raspberry flavored latte and a dirty chai. If we returned, I would definitely opt for the latte instead. The chai wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping for, but that's just my preference! Lots of options with coffee flights!

We've been waiting to go here for a long while, but when we got there, there was a sign on the door that said they were closed for Jenna's wedding weekend?? Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but there was no post on Facebook or anything about being closed. Disappointed. Won't be trying again.
