Cleary's Pub

Stopped here to check the place out and to have a beer. It's very dark. You could defenitely sit in there all day and never know what time it is! It's pretty outdated. There was garland in the ceiling and I'm not sure if it's from Christmas or left year round. The bathroom is dingy. I did not try the food.The bartender was very nice. They had pineapple cider which is my favorite.

A good little Irish pub! The Shepherd's pie, spinach and artichoke dip and beef hoagie are worth getting.

A fun pub with great service. Portion sizes were interesting as some were smaller and some were larger but the quality was quite good.

My friend and I ate here about 3:30 today (Sunday). We were told to find our own table so we picked a booth near the front where there was more night. The place is kinda dark and I prefer some light especially natural. It took some time for a waitress to come to our table. In fact, my friend kept moving closer to the end of the table to be sure our wait person saw us. After our waitress came the first time, she provided good service. When it came to the menu, I was certain I wanted a burger but had a difficult time deciding which one. I'm so glad I made the choice I did as it was delish!! I choose the special burger of the day which came on a pretzel bun and had grilled onion, roasted red peppers, jalapeños, mozzarella cheese, and a cilantro garlic sauce! This was an amazing combo and I'd definitely order again. I also loved the sweet potato fries. The dipping sauce was some sort of lightly flavored horseradish sauce. I ate some of it but definitely wasn't necessary with the yummy fries. If I lived near Cleary's, I'd definitely visit again and suggest you give it a try if in the area.

Great pub, great margaritas and amazing food. I had the cilantro chicken wrap, yummy, my husband had the caprese sandwich, also yummy. We are on our way to Detroit, and decided to stop for a quick lunch.

Good food and good service. Oh and the drinks are well made! What a find! Much more reasonable in price than any other place on the block. Really good!

Irish bar with heavy lunch/dinner crowd. Cute, cozy interior. Seating options are 3-4 large booths (could fit 5-6 people comfortably), four-tops, or bar seating.I wouldn't consider this a destination for food (although, it's clear by the crowds that many do!), but if you're having a few pints, there are food options. Staff is really friendly; food is standard bar fare, but consistent quality.

We have been there two times this week for work lunches; which should tell you that we liked it the first time! This pub is right in downtown Chelsea.Service was very good and the place was fairly busy.We were 4 of us and the 1st time I got Taco salad with Chicken - It was good. The next day I took the Shrimp Tacos with Sweet potato fries; two of my mates got the Avocado BLT and they liked it. Their Tuna salad and Ruben came out to be good too. I would definitely recommend going in here if you are in downtown Chelsea.

Went to Cleary's Pub for lunch after a bike ride. The club sandwich was pretty standard. I upgraded to waffle fries and they were perfectly cooked. I don't like soggy fries. My husband had the pineapple chicken wrap and said it was a good change of pace from other wraps. It was around 1pm and they were pretty busy but the service was prompt. I'd go here again.

Great local vibe and super friendly staff. Casual atmosphere makes you feel right at home.The specials can be very delicious.
