Clark's Ice Cream And Yogurt

My favorite ice cream place! Do not let the long lines deter you - the ice cream is totally worth it! It's a perfect place to hang out in the summertime as they have a ton of tables and chairs outside. My favorite is the Michigan pot hole if I'm in the mood for chocolate, or the anniversary cake otherwise. Make sure to try out their seasonal flavors too as they are usually pretty delicious. Staff will gladly give you samples to try and not rush you. Can't recommend enough!

This is a gem of a neighborhood ice cream spot. I was visiting Royal Oak to watch my nephew play baseball and decided to look up ice cream shops. This happened to be the highest rated one, so I gave it a try. It did not disappoint. The service is insanely quick and there are several (20+?) hard scoop flavors. I got the banana pudding' in a cup and it was awesome. My nephew got the o-o-Oreo shake and said it was possibly the best shake he's ever had. We sat on the nice benches just outside in the shade and it's about as good as a summer Saturday night ice cream break gets.

Clark's is my go to ice cream spot, with all the flavors they have you're bound to find something you like. all the ice creams are pretty sweet so just something to note. It's a great vibe and you can sit outside and enjoy your scoop all too well.

Small local ice creamier (made that word up) that's been in Berkley location forever. In the summer there are long lines and all enjoying ice cream, malts, sorbets, special flavors, milk shakes and floats, low sugar versions and Michigan flavors like Mi Pot Hole. It's now strictly outdoor service only but still good fast service and open year round

Clark's is definitely one of my go to's for Ice Cream. They serve Ashby Sterling brand ice cream, which in my opinion is a superior brand. They also carry my favorite flavor, which most places don't. The line is long during the warm months, but service is always steady and consistent.

Came here 1/2 hr opposite my destination because they carry Ashby's ice cream. Can't get enough of Ashby's Michigan Pothole ice cream. It's a new find for me even though it's been in existence for over 5 years. Ashby's (based Ludington, MI)) uses high quality ingredients which makes for creamy, rich tasting flavors. The chocolate ice cream, among several other flavors in their line is apparently award winning and rightfully so. I usually order Michigan pothole which is officially described as "thick black-tar fudge in chocolate ice cream with chunks of chocolate asphalt". They have soft serve ice cream, sundaes and many more menu items, but I was laser focused on Michigan Pothole and didn't pay attention to much else. Clark's has plenty of outdoor seating with many tables/chairs and picnic tables in the small field next to the parking lot and small tables with seats on the opposite side of the building. Ordering is at the window only, they don't allow anyone inside. Service is pretty fast even though lines are long. Be sure to study the menu beforehand (pics posted below) if you don't already know what you want and are a slow decision maker (more than 10 sec). That line gets pretty long and you can feel the person behind you stare fire into your back if you take too long to decide at the window.

Who doesn't love ice cream..... this place has the best in town!! Service was fast, ambience was super relaxed and outdoor seating was perfect for eating your ice cream. Can't wait to come again and try some more.

We adore this little ice cream shop! The workers are always so friendly. There are TONS of flavors to choose from... you could come every night for a month and try a new flavor each time!! There's plenty of seating which is nice when it's a busy weekend night! Don't be afraid of the long line, it moves quickly!!
