Omg the best general chicken I have ever had. Going in for round two. Try something else but wow was it good!!

I ordered take out for lunch on a busy Saturday. I got the orange chicken lunch special with steamed rice and egg drop soup. Flavor/Quality was in the 3/5 range, which is pretty much the maximum score for cheap Americanized Chinese food. The chicken had a good crispy breading, real orange peal, and I thought the egg drop soup was hearty and savory. The downside was the rice seemed just slightly undercooked, and the chicken was a little heavy/greasy. Quantity/value: A big lunch, bigger than one comfortable meal, for $7, which is almost unthinkable in this era. A few points were lost because I felt a little sleepy/queasy after eating, but I did enjoy the food while I was eating it. The overall score of 3/5 is mainly a function of all the quality Asian food that I am fortunate enough to get my hands on, but for semi-rural Michigan, I was definitely impressed.

Pretty good Chinese food in that area.Would definitely recommend if you're in that town.

Excellent. Not only did they immediately go 100% on Covid protocols, they are super sweet people and my food has been PERFECT Every. Damn. Time. Sweet and sour chicken and lo mein- best in the state Personal favorites: moo shoo pork and shrimp and broccoli with white sauce -- ah-mazing.

Huge portions, no MSG, great flavors, super affordable. To switch things up from my usual chicken dishes, I had a shrimp dish and wow! the shrimp were jumbo! I really appreciate no MSG as MSG will trigger an instant migraine for me. The portion sizes are huge and results in multiple meals. Picked up a lunch special and was amazed at how big the portions were. China House has a very easy on-line ordering system and easy pickup window stocked with a lot of hand sanitizer for peace-of-mind pickup in the time of COVID.I'm very glad for some tasty food in Pinckney that isn't bar food.

China House is the absolute best Chinese food in the area, and I'm including nearby cities like Ann Arbor and Brighton when I say that! I've tried a LOT of Chinese places over the past few years, and China House is the only one I've ever been willing to go back to! Well worth the drive from pretty much anywhere in either Washtenaw or Livingston counties!Their sesame chicken is particularly on point, but we also love their general tso's chicken, fried rice, and crab rangoon.

Good & Filling Food! I want to say the food is the typical Americanized Chinese food you will find at any other little hole in the all Chinese restaurant.However the staff here are friendly and if a mistake is made or something was forgotten they are quick to make it up.There is a young guy that answers the phone sometime and he can seem a bit short or even grumpy but that won't stop us from ordering food here. Everyone has their good days and bad days.Give this place a visit. Keep up the good work China House!

Gen Tsao's was hard and chewy-- all breading and hard. The dumplings were burnt. It was inedible.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken for my daughter, as I always do. When she was eating it She bit down on what looked to be a hard, sharp piece of plastic. I called to alert them of our findings. Much to my surprise, they didn't say, "I'm sorry" or "Let me replace that for you." Instead they asked "What color was it?" Are you kidding me??? After reading other reviews, this isn't the first time this has happened. I bet it won't be the last either.Eat at your own risk. We've taken our business elsewhere.
