Food good, service good! No complaints! Get rid of that up charge for using a CC! It's only $1 but damn! Everybody doing this crap!

WHAT HAPPENED I once held this place in high regard but those days are behind us. The food used to be decent I ordered the pepper steakAnd for some reason I felt cheated. I was in the mood for noodles instead of rice and got an up change of $3.00... not an issue but when you try to charge me .25¢ for packets of sauce that just sent me from a strong 4 to once star. I doubt this place will make it after being such a staple in rUPDATE 8/10/2020I appreciate the the fact that they gotTheir actTogetherThis time. I ordered the pork lo mein and it was good not my normal order but I was hungry and this place was close. The thing about these mom and pops is yes they sometimes do loose duplicatabliltiy so I guess this is gonna be a bit and miss kinda deal

They overpriced me when I asked about it the guy acted lost then told me I owe him $2 ate a few bites got so sick coming out at both ends

This has to be the worst food I've gotten from a Chinese spot ever. The food had zero flavor! Even the pepper steak combo that was in their favorites!! I'm so mad, I want a damn refund in the morning I'm not eating this trash!

My family and I have been patronizing the China House for 5 years. For quite some time the food was fresh and tasted good with sizable portions. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the size of the portions have consistently declined. On my recent visit I purchased 3 meals. One of which contained a reheated sesame chicken combination plate; the shrimp fried rice was like little pellets with no shrimp, the chicken was tasteless, hard and dry. Looking at my receipt I noticed my order was incomplete when I attempted correction, the clerk began shouting and over talking me. After 5 minutes of unnecessary bickering, she calmed down long enough to understand and apologized. Customer service is a joke as the counter help are adversarial and present themselves as if they are superior. This is an Asian owned and operated restaurant in an Black Urban neighborhood. I WILL NOT PATRONIZE IN FUTURE!

Everything was so good, fresh and cooked to perfection shrimp was clean rice was awesome and the shrimp egg foo young was delicious I could have used just a little bit more gravy but overall I'm extremely satisfied

I ordered pepper steak and shrimp fried rice with no onions and for extra bell pepper and less pepper steak

The woman taking the orders is very rude she got our order wrong And blamed it on us when I tried to explain to her she got into an argument with me I never return

Eaten here 3 times since i moved back here and i must say that The China House is the best Chinese restaurant in the Westside.
