Chicken Avenue

The guy working inside was super nice and had a big smile and honestly made my night. Fries were great. Chicken tenders were sub par. Chicken wings were good but barely had any meat on them. I've never had crab cakes before but I did not like the ones here. The drink options were "blue" or "red" and the blue drink was yummy. I found it weird that they sold off brand cheerios for $5 a box in the lobby as well as some other random grocery items. Probably won't go back but their late night hours are convenient and the fries were really good so maybe.

I've been anticipating this visit for a while, and I was finally in the area during lunch time. I purchased the five pieces of chicken for $6.99. Luckily, I was able to get all thighs. I'm glad of that because I do not like chicken drumsticks. I really wanted to like the food, but the chicken was just okay and not seasoned well. I'm definitely open to giving them another try and will also have side items the next time.

The food was decent nothing amazing. It was very easy to oder and was ready when promised the service was fine. The restaurant was a typical you buy they fry setup. Maybe I will go back and try something different next time. We ordered winds and popcorn shrimp.

This place has delicious fried chicken and is reasonably priced. It didn't feel overly heavy or greasy. The fries I got in the side were battered, giving extra crunchiness. I also got fried cauliflower which was very tasty. They are generous with side sauces. I do wish there were some more non-fried options on the menu, as healthier options. The employees were friendly and helped recommend items for me to order. It's a takeout only place, with room to order and sit down to wait. But it's a clean interior. This is not something I want to eat too often (for the sake of my waistline), but it would be a nice treat every once in a while.

This place is very unassuming and can easily be missed while driving. It's very simple and offers basic comfort food. I decided to go for fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. I absolutely enjoyed my lunch minus the cole slaw. Fries were great too but you can tell they were frozen before. The guy who took my order was very nice so service is definitely a positive here when it's not always the cause at similar establishments.

1st time going to Chicken Avenue, and I'll definitely be going back. I got a combo so I could taste a few things. Everything was good.

My son found this small restaurant about 5 doors down from the laundry mat we frequent. They have the friendliest staff and i have never been disappointed witih my order. made fresh, fried just right.The various combos will fit any siize appetite, and their sides are very well done too.My favorite is the whiting with a side of cole slaw.My son has tried the chicken sandwiches and is partial to the shrimp selections. ALWAYS satisfied. More than a few people in the laundry mat have asked me where i got the food and if it was good. "VERY good," i tell them and they trot off to get their order while their clothes wash or dry.Added bonus: everything is halal.It's not a sit down place so ordering beforehand is best, albeit the wait is not long.

May I just say i will never be ordering here again. Customer service was not what i expected . My friend and i places an order for dinner for the family. I also see a worker in the back with headphones which is very unprofessional. He also demanded we give him more of tip too which was rude.

I recommend Chicken Avenue to everyone. We went in to sample the food a couple of weeks ago to see if it might work for our Christmas Eve dinner. We tried the chicken tenders, catfish and shrimp and knew it was just perfect. The sauces were delicious and our guests raved about the food. A few of our friends could not believe how good the fish and shrimp were. The cost was extremely reasonable. It all was a hit. We try to use local businesses and this will be at the top of our list.
