Food is AWFUL. One day you can get a decent pizza, and then another you can come in and get that very same pizza and its not worth serving to a dog. No CONSISTENCY. People are nice but it doesn't make up for the inconsistency & me spending my money. I wouldnt recommend.

The sister and her boyfriend were in town from Denver. So we decided to take them out downtown for the night. After the first bar, we ended up at the spot next door. So after we're good on drinks, it was time for a bit of after turn up food. This place happened to be at the right place. We ended up getting 3 rounds of slices. First round I had the ham and jalapeños which was superb. Plus they had some kind of hybrid dipping sauce for the pizza which was super sublime. 2nd round we did the Hawaiian which is also sublime. The third was the same, which set us on a perfect amount of good.Best thing about this pizza restaurant is not just the location, but the pricing per slice is super awesome. About 2 a slice is a great deal. Trust, my friend had to buy some more. Exactly the reason why we did 3 rounds of pizza smashing.The place is small, so don't expect a giant restaurant. It's more of an order joint. You'd be lucky to snag one of the only two tables in there. The staff was super cool and friendly. Super prompt with the orders and even let me re-up on that awesome sauce.I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for good pizza. Thank you so much for reading my review. We finally tried the Chicago Pizza in Southwest next to Mutiny Bar. There is a couple tables for dine in, but it is a pick up/carry out spot. The ambiance was friendly & inviting. Very clean. We were very impressed! I ordered up a medium Chicago style cheese only. He ordered a cheese bread. Both were equally delicious! They had it ready for us in under 20 mins, what a record- I'm used to 45 mins + for Chicago Style. I found out there is another location in Allen Park! Chicago's Pizza is open late. Give them a try, you will be impressed!

If your car gets stolen here, I might ask "where'd Chicago?"But yes it's in a poor area, and yes it has a lot of character. It's close to Mexicantown actually. Really nice service from the girl and ridiculously cheap pizza.On the other hand, I don't actually like the pizza very much and I don't like that they serve congealed old slices - but at this price you can't really argue. It did taste a little bit like a chain store pizza or a frozen pizza - but like I said when it's this cheap what are you going to do.

I have to try the food, but regardless of how it is I will likely never be coming back to this establishment ever again as they do not accept coupons that they offer. I have a 25% off total order coupon for Chicago pizza on Vernor Highway and I let them know this over the phone as I ordered the pizza they told me to bring it when I came to pick it up. I brought the coupon when I came to pick it up and they said that they do not accept it. They even went as far as to say that they do not accept any coupons me pay full price for pizza that should've been 25% off, and when I asked to speak to someone regarding having my pizza discounted they took it back and said they would just put it up for slices since I "didn't want it"

Our pizza was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. I have had a lot of pizza in MI. Let me be the one to say they are at the top for the best pizza in Detroit. The chicken was also good. The service and ambiance is excellent and amazing. I love this place already. First time and my husband said will be back probably this week.
