Nice quaint place! My friends and I came here for their 9.99 lunch deal and everything was straightforward. We came around the time they opened and luckily got a table because closer to noon it quickly became busy so there was a line forming. I haven't had much Indian food so everything was fairly new. I got a House salad, Naan bread, two types of rice (I can't remember what they were called), some kind of fried potato, and the Butter Chicken which was really good. Overall, a pleasant experience and would come again!

The chicken biryani, chicken curry, tandoori chicken legs, and chili chicken were the family favorites! Food here was actually pretty good but service was nonexistent- no refills on water or clearing of plates. For $9 a person though you can't beat it! I'd be back for carryout as interior was really small but cute inside if you were coming with just a couple people!

My first visit to Troy for an Indian lunch buffet was far from satisfactory. We narrowed it down to two restaurants and my husband picked this.The first thing that caught my attention was the lack of cleanliness. When we were seated, we were offered water in a jug that was unclean and had some green leaves in it. This was a significant turn-off. The bowls weren't clean either, still had food residue on them. I had to inspect each plate and bowl after that.The buffet menu was surprisingly limited, offering a scant selection of dishes that didn't reflect the variety one would expect from a restaurant in this price range. I was shocked to see the limited menu but hoped the quality would be good. However, we were really disappointed. Additionally, there were very few options for kids.Here's a breakdown of the dishes we tried:Chicken starters : DecentTandoori chicken : Good, but loaded with food coloringVeg Pakora : OkayChicken Biryani : Lacked flavorDesserts (Rice Kheer and Kesari) : Lacked sweetness and tasteMasala Chai : OkayThe food overall lacked both taste and flavor, making the whole experience quite disappointing. Given the high prices, I expected a lot more in terms of quality and flavor.Overall, it was an unhappy experience. They really need to focus on cleanliness. The ambience was okay, but it's not worth $17.50 for this buffet. I would not recommend this restaurant. If you're considering dining here, try your luck elsewhere.

Some dishes here are great, some are just ok! Let's start with the great: paneer curry, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and garlic naan were all great! The channa masala and chicken curry were good. The lamb biryani was lacking flavor and the butter chicken was way too sweet. The restaurant is clean but the employees lack back hygiene skills. The woman who took my order was picking under her nails and the server who brought our food was touching the curry with her fingers to carry the bowl.

This place was soooo good for their lunch special. I tried so many different things and they all were amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Things started to get busy around noon but it's not too loud. It's a good place to have a nice lunch with conversation.

This review is NOT about their lunch buffet. I came here for the first time but have had experience with Indian cuisine. I ordered the lamb biryiani and the chettinad chicken. I give this place a high 3 and I would come back if I wanted just average, local Indian food. The biryiana was the weakest of the 2 things I got because it just wasn't as flavorful as I expected it to be. It just tasted like plain rice in some areas, but In Other areas I was hit with flavor. I guess maybe mine was not properly mixed? The parts with flavor was good and I wish I had it through out the whole dish. The chettinad chicken on the other hand was fragrant, spiced, and seasoned well and it's what makes me want to come back and get it again.

delicious food and great service! they recently renovated the space and it looks great. service is always fast and they give great recommendations. food is consistently fantastic and tastes fresh. can't recommend enough

I. Love. Indian Food! Now, I may not have the most distinguished tastebuds as far as knowing good/bad Indian food, but they do tell me that this buffet is firrreee! It hits most of the things you're looking for in an Indian buffet; fresh naan, several curries, masalas, paneer dishes, and of course, butter chicken. Only thing missing for me is my fave Indian dessert, galub jamun. Elite tip; they have a Friday to Sunday dinner buffet with an extended menu not seen on their weekday lunch buffet.

Super good butter chicken! Buffet is affordable and offers a good variety of dishes. Wish the chicken wasn't served with bones.

My second time here and once again impressed. They had meat samosas on special, so had two of those. Great flavor and spice level, though I'll admit I prefer potato samosas. For my entree I had lamb biryani ordered spicy. They did not disappoint in spice level! Very spicy but very flavorful! If you want Indian level of spicy this is a great option!
