Pretty solid place! I give it 3.5, rounding it up to 4. Our server was the sweetest. The bread roll , calamari, drinks and salad were really good 4/5. The Parmesan crusted whitefish was good but I wish it came with more caper sauce

Wasn't impressed as EBS was when he visited about 10 years ago. I met an old friend here for an early lunch. Hardly any one was there so we had the server to ourselves. While she was she had very good knowledge of the food, service was just average. My friend enjoyed her salad, my beef stroganoff was way below average (my undergrad college food service was way better) so Webers has nothing to worry about from this place. I almost didn't even heat up the left overs, but when I did it was just the same as their. I did enjoy the maple creme brulee but the half I took home didn't make it because of the take home container was just a cardboard box. The ambiance was the typical high end place that Ann Arbor is known for. I don't think I will be back unless my friend wants to meet there again.

This was a lovely dinner. The inside decor was nice- I loved the cracking fire. It was the last night of restaurant week, but nothing on the special menu convinced us to deviate from normal. We ordered spinach artichoke dip, which was a little spicy and had an interesting flavor (not bad!) and the chips look homemade possibly?The rolls were good and the olive herb butter was delicious with interesting flavors. Mains were pecan crusted chicken, stroganoff and a side of Brussel sprouts. Desert was maple creme brûlée. The creme brûlée seemed to have vanilla bean in the bottom and was tasty. The stroganoff was good, but not the best I've ever had. The Brussels were nice and crispy but overly sweet. Honestly, everything was good, but nothing was overly outstanding. I will say our waitress was outstanding. I never needed water, she checked on us and moved dishes at the great times. We were happy and will definitely be back!

Very pricey here for the quantity /size of their servings. The New England clam chowder tasted wonderful with plenty of chopped clam in a tasty creamy soup base. However, the serving size (quantity)of a cup versus a bowl seems to be the same amount only more pricey for the bowl portion. Placing the soup spoon in the bowl was barely covered the spoon. I would expect a bowl size serving to at least be filled to the brim(curved) part of the bowl. Ordering the cup next time...if there is a next time.

If I could give a million stars I would! Random date night with fiancé and blown away!! For sure will be back!! Sat at the bar, very attentive quick service and the FOOD!!The beef stroganoff fettuccine is my new favorite dish and will come back! Amazing short rib that melted in your mouth and great proportion to noodles- well worth the price!Pecan crusted chicken had the perfect crunch paired with awesome veggies and comfortable mashed potatoes!Both said we need to go back to try more or have our mouth watering dishes again!!

The food taste was good--but overpriced--especially with the 3% extra they charge for "increased costs" --in very fine print! I would appreciate more honesty--just increase the prices instead of this sneaky tactic! Wait staff was good. Portions are too big. The menu on-line does not match what you can really get, and the prices are wrong on line. They claim they can't change/update it! Another sneaky bait and switch, in my opinion. It is loud inside--and louder because there were little kids making a lot of noise--who brings kids to a place with no children's menu?? Overall, I have no interest in returning. There are many better places for what this costs, with a better atmosphere and food that is as good or better. And those restaurants that keep their web information current and don't tack on hidden costs!

This is the average tavern that has an upscale clientele . The prices reflect that as well. It's really dark and hard to see inside. The staff seemed a bit territorial as far as who sits where.Our waiter Brandon was amazing. He was gracious and checked on us throughout the meal. His recommendations were on point with what we liked.The fresh bread was amazing and the olive butter blew my mind. This now now a thing for me, lol. They are a little stingy on the portions of bread. However, we asked for more a it was brought out fairly fast. My friend was underwhelmed with the beef stroganoff because it was shredded beef instead of the chunks pictured on the menu. She also said it lacked flavor. I had the chicken Marcela with no sauce and garlic mash potatoes with veggies. It was just okay. The chicken was well seasoned but needed a sauce. The garlic mash potatoes were delicious well seasoned no salt needed. The veggies were tasted as well.I was a little perplexed something was a little off about this place. I can't put my finger on it. Needless to say I don't see myself returning.

This is usually my favorite place to go for anniversaries or events. I'm so disappointed by the entrees. I got the salmon and my boyfriend got the hamburger. They were both SO bland that we ended up not even finishing our meal. Our service was so slow that I didn't get my wine until halfway through my entree. We sat under flickering lights which was very annoying for the entire meal. This used to be my favorite place but tonight made it so we won't be going back anytime soon.

Went there with a friend for lunch. The "chunk" bacon in the mac and cheese turned out to have lots of chunks of fat and gristle, the kind you discover once it's in your mouth and you want to spit it out. I thought maybe it was just the first bite, but no, a couple bites later I gave up on eating any further "meat". I ate a few bites of just the pasta part, but that was quite lacking in flavor, very bland. I left it. Also ordered the spinach artichoke dip and there were maybe 2 chunks of artichoke in it, probably the worst of this dip I've had anywhere. On the good side...the roll with seasoned butter at the outset was delicious. The server was laid back and while she was attentive, wasn't intrusive the way some are. Last note...no plain black hot tea, only a couple of flavored varieties. Can't recommend and won't be back.

We ordered apps and apps need up cancelling the entrees because the apps were so bad. Spinach artichoke dip was the consistency of paste. You could taste the flour from the roux. It was so overcooked d that the artichokes were mush. The brussel sprouts appetizer was gritty and tasted old. Like if you had reheated them at home a couple of times. Mushy not crisp. Service was ok. She kept forgetting us but when she came she was pleasant.
