I come here for their sweet & sour chicken. The sauce that you pour over the chicken is the best I have ever had. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is sometimes their egg rolls are not the greatest.

Well ... Did they get a new cook??!??I'm not sure what's going on there right now BUT...it wasn't good!We normally LOVE it!!!! And have never had a bad meal there ever!! Never a problem!! To start off the sum gum soup was not good!! It didn't even look good :(( always a favorite there. The veggies were NOT FRESH!! And no taste to it at all! Saskatchewan veggies were good.my son inlaw was very unhappy with his chicken I tasted the sauce ... it tasted like pure sugar. And so disappointed in the spring rolls! This was the first time ever being so unhappy with the food. I sure hope it was a fluke!!! Because it's our go too for good Chinese food!

My husband and I stopped here after catching a movie at Great Lakes crossing. He said he was really hungry and wanted to try orange chicken and get a full order of chicken fried rice. Little did we realize those were both meals that came with an egg roll and soup. But fortunately, we saw some homeless people on our way home and were able to give the extra food to them. As for the flavors, he really enjoyed the entrees. I ordered a tofu dish that I can't see on the menu now but it was something that had a little spice icon next to it so I thought it would have flavor. It wasn't great but I appreciated that it had a ton of vegetables. Our server was super nice and very quick every time we needed something. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and had a lot of booths.

Worst food poisoning ever. Called them the next day and all they said is "sorry" and hung up.

Our local go to. Always great!. The Thai (in my opinion!) is not good but the Chinese is all delicious. General Tso, sesame chicken, orange chicken, buddhas feast, hot and sour soup, wonton soup. All great!

Carrie Lee's looks promising from the street. I'd driven past it a million times. Cozy dining room, good crowd for a Wednesday night hey why not? Plus it was the only Chinese place open at 8:00 and for that matter the only Chinese place. A lively dining room packed with customers set the right tone. A second dining room with a small bar was to the left. Three patrons were having a great time under red lights and paper lanterns. It's as if I was transported back in time to a Shriners convention in 1973! I was seated immediately next to a table of about 14. Nice group of people if a bit noisy but that's just old man disease talking. The menu had the Chinese old school favorites, and old school they were. The deep fryer and brown sauce machine must have been set on overdrive based on my neighboring table's dishes. As in Chinese restaurants of old, dinner comes with an egg roll and choice of soup. The egg roll was the same old blah deep fried fare with a filling of grey cabbage-esque substance. I opted for hot and sour soup that was neither hot nor particularly sour. Pan fried dumplings were fair, again bland. Finally dinner came and what sounded like authentic Chinese cuisine on the menu turned out to be rather basic. The breaded rings held a shrimp in them somewhere and the vegetables were swimming in a soup of brown sauce that I'm sure will set up like jello in the to go box. I picked at everything and left most of it there. $30 later I was gone. Checking out they asked if I wanted some deeply colored ice cream which seems to be a specialty of the house but I passed. Sorry to be such a downer but I can do better in my kitchen. Being the only Chinese place in the nabe must help but God help them if they get some competition!Carrie leeves me disappointed.I'd pass.

Best Lo Mein I have had in a long time!! Egg rolls were awesome with a slight crunch, not greasy at all. We did a pick up and they were super nice and it was ready on time!

Carrie Lee's used to be our favorite. Chinese food with tons of flavor. But we've noticed a steady decline both in taste and quality over the last few years. I was always blown away at getting tender, juicy chicken. Now we get fried shoe leather. We tried it again tonight. Shame on me for not checking before I left. We were missing items. The food was gross. Family of four agreed. With a $10 tip and the credit card fee tacked on, we were over $70 for our two bags of garbage. The kicker: I asked the gal behind the counter for some spicy mustard. She opened my bag and walked to the prep counter behind her. She was chatting with another worker. I assumed she was putting the mustard in the bag. She stapled the bag shut and brought it back to me. Got home to find nothing. We're done.

Food!! The service was fine but all of our food was bad: wonton soup (lukewarm), egg rolls (overdone) and almond boneless chicken (chicken was stringy and rubbery). The best part of the meal was the ice cream at the end!

Been our Go-to Chinese eatery for both dine in and take-out for over 25 years...However, last night we decided it would be our last dining experience there. Beef dishes were chewy, tough and inedible (very old steer?), Soups were tasteless. They always had decent egg rolls but these were oily and contents were like it was leftovers. We mentioned chewy beef to the waitstaff. We have never left so much food behind at a restaurant. Giving one-star only for the good service. Adieu Carrie Lees. Too Bad...
