Carlo & Joe's Deli and Bakery

I drove by this little place and just had to stop by.Well I must say it's a nifty little hook up! Upon first walking in you are staring at a full case of goodies. Oh sweet Jesus, a galore of cookies and sweets. I seriously had to have a conversation with myself, No sweets Wen! Don't blow the diet now, way to many protein shakes as meal replacements and workouts for that, but jeez, the thought taunted me all night!They also have broasted chicken, salsa which I tried and was quite unique tasted like a vinaigrette type salsa, quite tasty. Actually I think I love it! They also sell quarts of homemade pasta sauce with meatballs as well as premade mostaccioli meals with meat sauce.This place has a huge meat and deli section, as well as fresh salads.The prices a bit steep. I bought some marinated chicken breast which I grilled, quite fresh and tasty. They also have all kinds of breads and regular fare of groceries.This place carries many locally made products and is a nice little place. I highly recommend stoping by to check this place out.

Been going here for years recommended by my nephew. Great meats and great service, no problems with special orders. Other speciality items you can't find anywhere else.

Best deli in the area. Super friendly staff! Their meat and lunch meat/cheese is the best quality downriver. Their store made burgers/kabobs are better than any restaurant I've found.

I'm new to Michigan from Colorado (literally 2 months here) and was told I need to go to Carlo and Joes. They did not disappoint!!!! I walked in to see an amazing selections of deli meats, ground and other cuts of various meats, cheeses, baked goods, wine and more. I was greeted right away and helped with all my selections. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. While this was my first stop here, it most certainly won't be my last!

My new job is right across from this place. Was starving this morning so strolled over to grab a slice. Very good pizza, big slices the the kind you like to fold and eat. Definitely worth a try if your in the area

I love this place. I stop in often as it is near my sons practice field for soccer. When you walk through the door there is a case full of beautiful pastries and cookies. The kifles are so yummy!!They have a hot food section and I've eaten several items there. The ribs are always a hit. My little one likes to get a corndog from the deli.The meat counter/deli runs the entire length of the store. You can get house made sausages, and almost anything you might want for dinner. I personally love the olives and the precut cheese pieces. They make a nice snack while I'm waiting at practice.All the staples are here and a giant selection of wines as well.

Ok a little disappointed in the deli sandwiches,I will say it is a very nice store with a beautiful meat counter I just expected more out of the Italian sandwich and the sauce was Italian dressing but will for sure go there for the meat counte

They have the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had. Also really great pre made food or heat and eat meals

This place is as good as it gets if you are looking for fresh meats and quality deli products. They cut their own steaks/meats, make their own sausages, and you can tell they are passionate about it by the quality and taste of the food. If you're firing up the grill for a bbq or just looking to cook up some delicious dinner for your family, this is the place to get your meats. They also have a good selection of other grocery items to fill out your cooking needs.Although the meat and deli counter is the star here, the pastries are pretty good too. Plus they have a pretty diverse wine and beer selection to choose from. Great place to shop!
