Captain Nemo's Submarine Sandwiches

Turkey Club is my go to. The ladies are always great and my food is always exactly what I'm looking for. Short wait was a definite plus.

I use to love coming here when I was in Belleville. Had a chance to experience it again after 2 years and I was underwhelmed. The sandwich was extremely dry. The lady at the counter was friendly. I ordered the chicken and cheese, sadly it had not lived up to my previous experience.

Came here because I wanted a sub. I got the turkey club which was able to be served hot (normally served cold) and it was pretty good! Wasn't particularly memorable but if I want to grab a sub for lunch, I will seek this place out. They only serve chips on the side and have a small fountain machine so there isn't a whole lot in terms of options. The sub menu is also small but they do have a nice variety, I want to check out their steak sub one day since that is what it seems people rave about. Service was good and you are able to see them make the food out in the open.

My review might be skewed. I have only had the pizza sub. However, I have been eating it for almost 40 years. So thats saying something, right? Order it with everything: lettuce, tomato, seasoning, etc...The 8" is probably large enough to fill the average eater. However, A big eater could eat the 16". I have done both, but feel better about myself when I choose the 8". Support the local gems. Go here.

This place is underrated. No wonder they are expanding. Watch them grill your sandwich and u will understand. Enjoy!

Don't let my 1 check in fool you, I've been here a lot, over a long period of time. Since I only ever get carry out it's hard to remember to check in each time. Scouts honor I'm a regular.Over the years I have had a pretty good sampling of their menu and the only thing I really don't like is their steak and cheese. It not bad, it just doesn't have a lot of flavor. My go to items are the corned beef and cheese and the ground beef and cheese. Once in a while I'll mix it up and get the taco sub, the pizza sub or the traditional (Italian) but generally single corned beef and single ground beef are where it's at for moi. Pro tip: I always ask for extra dressing and extra seasoning. Personal preference of course but I've had occasion to get some stuff that wasn't dressed how I like and you can never have it too moist, am I right?A lot of the reviews complain about the price but I think it's super cheap in comparison. You happily go Subway and get a disgusting footlong Turkey for damn near 7 bucks these days but getting a much better 8 inch product from Nemo's for the same price is a problem for you? You need those extra 4 inches that bad? Never mind, don't answer that.If I had to find something to complain about - it would be that the chick that owns this place and most of the girls that work here are about as warm as polar bears. But since my interactions with them rarely ever exceed 30 or 45 seconds it's tough to remove a star for that.Screw Subway, come to Nemo's and support local bizness yo!

Yikes!! Same cook top with other meats so she fished out steak that she had cooked for someone else from my egg!! They shd at least space out meats from veg or egg on the grill.She 1st put egg down then the veg to fry..so egg was overcooked n veg hardly caramelized! Shd b other way around.My 1st time here, I'm sure won't be my last! Loved the concept of the egg omlette, the only downside was it was INEDIBLE due to the SALT content..so next time I just have to say no salt or easy on the salt!! Felt really bad dumping an otherwise delicious samich..

It's a-ok. Nothing that will shock and awe but it is a solid little sandwich place.The atmosphere here is nothing to brag on. It's also definitely off the beaten path. If you don't know where you are headed you are bound to drive past and miss the turn off. The service was rather unmemorable in either direction.I had a steak and cheese that was decent. I needed more cheese so definitely ask for extra as I am not one who normally does extra cheese. I also doctored it up with spicy jarred red peppers. To me if you must add ingredients once it is home that is not enough to be judged as anything more than just fair or ok. Once the sandwich was enhanced it was tasty though.In a pinch I'd return but I am not rushing.
