Great food. Great value. They deliver your food to the table when it's ready. Love the place.

I've always been happy with my food at this place, but the last 2 times I got it the hush puppies were awful which kind of ruined the whole dinner for me as that was always my favorite part of the meal. Did you change the recipe? If so, please change it back or I won't be back. Thank you.

I was excited to see a Captain D's in Michigan. It was my go to fast food restaurant for fish when I lived in the South. The fish and hushpuppies were just as I remember. I will definitely continue to return to this restaurant. I only wish it was closer than 30 minutes from my house.

Went here for the first time today. I ordered the sampler and a cup of seafood gumbo. Everything was cooked to order so you have to wait a few minutes, but the food was fresh which I appreciate. I'd much rather wait and get good food and not something sitting in a heat lamp. The batter on the fish was the perfect saltiness. The chicken had a nice flavor and good crunch. My only knock was the gumbo was slightly over salted, but it had nice flavor. The customer service was excellent as well. I will definitely be back.

Great food Great Hospitality Fast hot food. Restaurant was clean . Attentive employees and whatever needed to be altered on the menu was not a problem

I ordered a fish sandwich with no tarter. When I got all the way home on the other side of town, the sandwich had tarter on it. I didn't think to check it because the cashier came back to the window to clarify that the sandwich is to have no tartar sauce. Also, the sandwich is salty. I called and the manager took my name so I can get another sandwich, but I think I'll pass.

I should have been warned when there were no cars, either in line at drive thru or parked. The order was immediately ready but must have been sitting on a warming rack for hours. Captain D's was the worst seafood experience I have ever had. Will never go back.

Somehow I made a mistake and posted this review on a Captain D's in Georgia, it was Oct 11 2024.I used to love this place. The food was always good and it was hot. Today the cole slaw was clearly not fresh, my fish and my fries were cold, and the orders have been made smaller as well (i never could finish the 4 piece, today I did). I ordered okra, got home to find coleslaw. At least my wifes cat fish was warm, much better than my cold fish and very cold fries.. Wondering if this food gets cooked and they just wait for someone to order it. This is the second time I've been disappointed there.

I think I was in heaven! The batter fished was amazing: crunchy, long, and white. Fast service. Clean place! Great value for the price too.

Fish was perfect . Crispy and well done. Counter service was much improved. This is my go to place for a quick and hot fish dinner. It does have a fast food atmosphere.
