California Burgerz

I was really excited try this place. I think my expectations were a little high. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Took about 20 mins for my order. Everything was fresh but it wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. The fries were my favorite part. It was about $31 for 2 people. I personally don't feel like it was worth it. It would be an added bonus if they wiped down the tables & seats between customers. If you're in the area, give them a try. I can't say I would recommend going out of your way to try. Just my personal opinion.

My wife and I went with the intention to try the food here last week. This place was so filthy inside and in the food preparation area that we could not bring ourselves to eat. His place is so misrepresented online. I have found many statements that the reviews for this place are false. I would not have let my dog eat inside this restaurant. It was so horrible. I walked up and looked behind the counter and it was absolutely disgusting how much food and garbage was on the floor in the area where they cook. I don't understand why the health department hasn't been contacted to look into this restaurant. It really was that horrible. This place is a hard pass. Yuck

Beyond what I expected, this place is a must try. Very visible from the road. Location and Parking is great. Signage is very visible. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome. The cashier is ready to take your order. Pick and choose from the many delicious items on the menu. You have to try the Gorilla Fries nothing can describe the taste you have to try them. Amazing place I can't wait until I go back. Thank you all for your wonderful service. This is a perfect TEN

It was a good burger, but took a really long time when they weren't busy and seemed a little pricey. That said..... It was a good burger.Visiting Detroit and I had already tried a lot of other local fare from the Polish and Middle Eastern spots, so a burger seemed like the right call that day. I went with the mushroom swiss combo and I think it came out to about $15. I guess that's not crazy overpriced with inflation and such these days, so not sure what I'm complaining about. But anyhow, the burger was cooked to my liking and the toppings were in line with what I expected. The fries weren't anything special. I don't know, I feel like I'm just kind of rambling on with this review. This place didn't live up to the YELP hype IMO, but it was a good burger.......

I can see the resemblance of the in n out burger. As a Native Californian, I can say this place is very close to the original In N Out burger but not quite. The curvy fries were my favorite along with the sliders. Will be returning for sure.

I got the number 1 combo with everything. Food was fresh, fries were hot and crispy. The burger is the real deal all the way legit.

I ordered the salmon burger fries and milkshake. It was good. The service was good. The owner was there. The ambiance is similar to in and out, which was the goal I assume. 10/10 experience.

The most dirtiest restaurant with unprofessional staff.I visited there on last Sunday. The order taker was busy in taking orders on phone instead of taking care of the person standing in front of him. He took two orders in my presence right in front of him. Restaurant floor was dirty and you can see soda all over the floor. Bathroom was nasty and smelly. I am still giving 1 star just because food taste was not bad.

Great place for dinner I love their fried tofu and burgers. They have so many options for all kinds of dietary restrictions and lots of vegetarian options.
