Amazing charming restaurant with an intimate setting and excellent food and service. We sat at the bar close to the well run kitchen, and the entire staff was professional and welcoming. The owner is very kind and cares about your dining experience. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A delightful experience.

Love this place. A quaint, old school romantic Italian restaurant with beautiful decor and great staff. My bestie lives close and frequents this spot for good reason. The food is fabulous! We had: cosmos, house salad w bleu cheese and bread, veal Milanese and eggplant Parmesan. Everything was delectable, and the eggplant was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back to try the white fish and speghetti.

Small place inside. 9 tables and about 8 bar stools in here, it's quite cozy and cramped in here. Started off with escargot, sautéed mushrooms, lasagna alla Bolognese, chicken Marsala, eggplant Parmesan and sautéed lake Perch. $154+Service was okay. The bread was good. The escargot comes with sautéed mushrooms. It was good, sauce that came with it was good for dipping the bread in as well. Even my step-dad tried for three escargot for the first time and liked it. Minestrone and the side salads were okay. The side of blue cheese is $1.50 extra, no wonder mom didn't get it on her salad. The shared sautéed mushroom was good. The perch was lighted breaded, wasn't expecting that, since it was sautéed. It was okay. The lasagne was good, different, but smaller and a lot of sauce. The chicken Marsala was good for my step-dad. I tried some, it wasn't too bad.My mother's eggplant was good, nice and light breading. Small eggplant cuts.

Cafe Nini is located on Kercheval in Grosse Pointe. A 10 table establishment with a few more tables outside and food that will not disappoint.I was promptly seated upon entering after being asked if I had a reservation, which I did not. The establishment was bustling with people and somewhat loud from all the over zealous talkers. Some patrons were almost obnoxiously loud with foul language to boot. Keep it classy Grosse Pointe, this isn't Detroit. Our waitress was helpful and friendly and recommended the crispy zucchini and the branzino. The crispy zucchini was delicious. Hands down the best I've ever had. Great crunch and a delicious flavor profile. The branzino came hot and flaky and also had a wonderful flavor and was not over cooked. Once I devoured the fish, I had some tiramisu and also a chicken parm to go. The tiramisu was the low point of the dinner, it wasn't the best in my opinion, however, it was fine.Overall I would definitely eat at Cafe Nini again: I would probably go in later when it isn't so busy, however the busyness didn't affect the service. It was some of the classless patrons that would keep me from coming back during busy hours.

The bread is fresh off the oven. Caprese salad was fresh and tasty! Most items are cooked with white wine. Our entrees were yummy! Definitely coming back. Quiet ambience outside and more loud but cozy inside. Service was professional

Love, love, love Cafe NiNi! Food is reliably excellent. We like to sit at the bar and have our dinner there. Small in the best way. Bonus, outdoor seating in the warmer months

We ordered carry out, 4 meals. Only 2 of 4 of us enjoyed our meal. My pasta was dry and I didn't finish it, the soup was weird and not the typical style soup. Expensive for quasi ok food.

In the past, I loved this place. It has really out priced itself now. Don't believe the prices online. They charge almost $30 for lasagna! The lasagna is nothing special. I won't be coming back.
