"I walked into this place and the owner came out behind the desk to come around and greet me with a handshake introduction. Super friendly guy and it all came across cannily genuine. He said they have the best price on Geek Bars in the state at $18 or two for $35. I've been feeling like I'm getting a decent deal paying $25 for one of these. That savings is honestly pretty stellar so I went with the two for $35 deal. Really nice establishment. Smells quite nice as well. The owner said they're having their own vapes made and sounded very stoked and passionate about it. I don't think I'll ever be going anywhere else. Between having unbeatable prices and the kind of interaction where you know the owner will remember you when you come back in I couldn't recommend this place enough."

"UPDATED REVIEW; So I was trying to find a cleanse that would help me. I ended up buying two different ones, that were BOTH marked up 3x-4x the price that they were on Amazon (or more). The second cleanse I bought he promised it would work, stacking cleanses. I understand that sometimes this stuff doesn't work but I asked for a mask and he gave me another dilution drink. I ended up being so physically sick I didn't make it to take my test. I failed 4 home tests that I took after taking 2 of their cleanses, abstaining for a week prior & drinking lots of water. I followed the instructions. I'm just pissed they had me waste my money (total of around 65 bucks). Especially when the second product wasn't what I asked for at all. I made the mistake of smoking before needing to take a test but the products were straight trash. If you're a daily vape/dab person these drinks won't help you much. If you're an occasional user, I've tried their liquid gold and that did work. It's also marked up in price. I bought titanium e-nail from here that stopped working a few weeks in (it was over 100 bucks). This place has the selection. I really like the owners, super nice but if you're looking for a cleanse go to another place or buy from the company. This was my favorite shop for years (2011-now) and the old CITGO days. You lost a customer over lying straight to my face (the older man telling me it was a mask), not because the product failed. I hate to leave this review but it is what it is. You guys have all the product and knowledge to run an amazing business, please take the constructive criticism and keep on improving. 3 stars because of the selection, location, and potential."

"I started out with HOD at this location, right before HOD took over. As soon as they became rec. it was a hot mess all around between going in store and delivery. I felt that staff also went downhill. Front desk staff always looked miserable, verbally complaining, and I can't say much different for the bud tenders. I haven't been inside this location in a while, probably at least over a year now, so I can't speak to how the staff is present day. The delivery drivers though are their saving grace. I love chatting with them. Their website is NEVER accurate with what they have in stock and every single time, without fail, I place a delivery order, they call about being out of a product I ordered. As a customer this is extremely frustrating and off-putting, since their website clearly is not updated in real time. Because of this, I moved over to another HOD location and have been very happy since."

I live in San Diego, CA and they unfortunately do not have the type of variety Detroit has when it comes to quality hookahs.The guy that helped me was Brandon. He showed me several different types of hookah options and the pros/cons to each. He clearly was just as knowledgable as I was which I was happy about. I ended up getting a Deezer Glass hookah. It's AMAZING. I have used it several times since being back home and I could not be happier. Last week, my vase broke because of a wrong move with the hose. :( I called over and Brandon shipped me another vase since I couldn't physically come in.The prices here are definitely reasonable. The quantity and quality of products sold here is the reason why I will always recommend this place to friends/family. The orange heads to go were good and flowed for hours. Check them out, I don't think you'll regret it!!"

"I'm working in Detroit and went to Townhouse to score some cigars. Couldn't believe how cheap their prices were. Bought 5 Romeo y Julietas Bully's for $5.85 a stick with a sixth one thrown in for free. Their normally $7-8 a stick. Guy offered to sell me a box for $112 out the door. That's cheaper than Serious Cigars online deals. Every single one of them were stored improperly at some point in time and rehydrated in the humidor. They had lost all their essential oils and burned like garbage, the wrappers flaked and cracked almost immediately after lighting them up. Now one or two bad sticks in a box is to be expected. But all six of these were garbage and I pulled them straight out of the box in the stores humidor myself. So glad I didn't purchase an entire box from them. Makes me wonder if all their stock is garbage and that's the reason they can sell them so cheap. I only gave them two stars because of the scope of products they sell. Buyer beware! In all fairness I haven't contacted the store yet to tell them about my experience. I left town the next morning to head back to Indy for the weekend. When I get back to Detroit on Monday I'll go there and see if they make it right with me. If they do I'll gladly update this review. But I have serious misgivings about their supply chain."

Only downside was that they don't carry either Jimmy the Juice Man (Shurb) or Aisle 7 (Nora's dream) which is a premium juice I think every shop should have, but other than that, they have a pretty nice selection."

"Terrible customer service. Before this incident I was a regular customer most Friday's. I bought a glass piece on a Friday for a gift for a friend. When I got home, and was cleaning the smudged up piece they display on their shelves. I noticed a small crack in the glass. The store is close to work but far from home. So I waited until Tuesday to resolve the issue. Rather than take the product back and report damaged merchandise to their supplier. They blow smoke up you a$$ and tell you all sales are final. Their supplier won't return it or believe it was damaged on arrival. Blah blah blah. Offered me a discount on more of the cheap glass they sell. I declined and took the broken piece with me. The way I look at it. It only cost me a cheap $30 piece, that they pay $10 for. To realize what bad business is done here. I've spent hundreds of dollars in here since I worked in the area. From now on I'll take my business down the road to wild bills or the hazel park BDT. Better quality, because they have better buyers who know a thing or two about the products."
