In the process of signing our check, and finishing up a last drink, a food runner/hostess got extremely loud with me to tell me that my time was up at the table. Her demeanor and approach was horrible when she dropped off my food, and it was even more horrifying as she yelled at me that it was time to leave. I felt super uncomfortable being spoken to that way after a $200 dinner."

They were takeout only for a while, but now it's operating more as a counter service restaurant to accommodate those who want to dine in as well as their many takeout customers. I was pleased to find that they still offer a fabulous birthday discount. If you show your ID on your birthday, you can get one entree free with purchase of another entree. We tried the pud Thai and the fried rice. Both were delicious and plentiful. I also ordered a side of peanut sauce and received a generous portion. While this is not the best Thai in the area flavorwise in my opinion, it is very reliable."

Its located in a small strip mall, where the entrance to the restaurant is inside.Upon walking in, I noticed some pretty unique decorations that does give you that Thai vibe, including a small elephant statue next to the cash register. Additionally, I love the smell of thai food and the spices they use, so the aroma will definitely hit you when you enter.I ordered the Pad See Ew(spicy) while my coworkers ordered a Pad Thai and a Thai Fried Rice. The pad see ew was seasoned nicely with the sweet soy sauce and the noodles were cooked to perfection. However, the spice was overpowering it a bit. That was most likely on my part as I did order spicy. Overall, I really did enjoy getting take-out from here. I will be coming back to try different dishes as well!"

Their 5 star reviews for Coastal Thai in Wyandotte, really caught my eye the other day as I was looking for a good Asian lunch.As Al and Andrew have stated in their reviews, the food here is solid. Now, I got their Crispy Chicken Rolls as an appetizer. I intended to eat just one, but that didn't happen as those crispy rolls have an intriguing texture and flavor that makes them super hard to resist.And my entree for lunch!? Pad Thai! It's excellent. There's a really nice firm bite to their noodles, a good amount of protein, veggies, and crushed peanuts. That magical Thai combination of sweet, sour, salt, pungent, and heat is about as perfect as you'll ever find. The portions were huge and a good value for the money.If that's not enough to convince you, lunch comes with a complimentary cup of the soup of the day. I got an Egg Drop, and it was wonderful.Large portions of delicious food and free soup, great service, and a pleasing atmosphere. What's not to like?I'm with the guys on this one: 5 stars."

Good salad and miso soup to start. The tempura veggies were crispy and delish. Good sides of spring roll, shumai and dumplings. Oranges were fresh. Shrimp was excellent, and even the rice was nicely done.Service was fine. Fountain drinks were watery. I should have gotten tea. Somehow, it just felt cheaper here atmosphere wise. I would come back but I'd much rather visit the more serene other location with more variety. This will do nicely in a pinch."

Our group was pretty much split in ordering the two cuisines. We had one server, and she was very good. She kept everyone's orders (and bills) straight, and she was very good about refilling the water.I had Pad Sew. The portions were very generous; even after eating, I took home a quite full box, and those that had the Pho took home nearly a quart! Prices are reasonable as well. Definitely worth checking out."

"Aron B. taunted us over and over with his Pi's Thai Cuisine mentions on Detroit Yelp talk threads with "Oh, guess what everyone? I just had another bowl of Pi's Thai Cuisine's Tom Yum Soup". He even taunted us with private messages about how he had eaten Pi's Tom Yum Soup for the umpteenth time in as many days. This went on relentlessly through the winter months...I finally couldn't take it anymore so one day I gassed up the car and drove the 212 miles north to the Detroit area suburb of Hazel Park to meet up with friends Aron, Laurie and Ron for some of this legendary soup. We were not disappointed. If you've ever had Tom Yum, you know that Thailand's version of Hot and Sour Soup is very different from it's Chinese sibling. It's lighter and more fragrant with a tangy slight lemongrass / lime-citrusy taste that makes this soup very satisfying to the palette. The flavors of Pi's Thai Cuisine's version has an unusual slight sweetness that was surprising but really made the flavors a little more rounded. In any case, it was about the best soup I've ever had. My only gripe was that I wish I had gotten the larger size. I could have eaten a lot more.Not content with just an order of soup, I also ordered the Pad Thai subbing woon sen noodles which I shared with everyone. It's Thailand's national dish and we all really enjoyed the flavors and textures that that dish is known for. Pad Thai here is a definite recommendation. We also got to try some of Laurie's Drunken Noodles. They were really good but frankly, I liked mine much better.Pi's Thai Cuisine is as rough looking as they come and has all the ambiance of a garage sale. But as many of us know, the sketchier looking an Asian restaurant is, the better the food. Take note that this is a tiny restaurant of 8 seats so it's more of a take out place.I'm in for 4 stars with a push on this one. The food is legit and the people are really nice and friendly. "I haven't been here in a while and stopped in after work. I tried the Spicy Kung Pao Chicken with medium heat/ spice and it was so delicious! The sauce was nice and peppery giving a nice zing and complementing the flavors of the diced celery, water chestnuts and zucchini perfectly! I love celery and water chestnuts in my chop suey type dishes, the crunch and texture are so satisfying. There were also peanuts in the dish for more crunchy goodness. I had white rice and a spring roll which comes with dinner. The service is always welcoming and attentive at the right times. Isabella was my server tonight and was very gracious as always. I wanted to try their cucumber salad but unfortunately they were out of it. Next time for sure ! The restaurant is spacious and very clean, staff are never idle and clearing tables, wiping down surfaces. They have a sushi bar/ chef as you enter but no chairs to sit there, otherwise you'd be in the way of traffic, drivers picking up orders and right next to the door. Another thing I love is their Jasmine/ green tea, it's comforting and tasty straight up. It was served in a beautiful ceramic cup, no handle, which was easy to hold and warm my hands as well! I highly recommend this restaurant for different cuisine: sushi, hibachi, Asian, Teriyaki, Thai dishes that are very flavorful and satisfying! Check it out!Prices are affordable $-$$ my meal was $18 and change, and the portions are ample. I had lunch for tomorrow"

I love that they are not allowing patrons into their restaurant only a few workers. They are gloved and masked when bringing food to the car and even asked if we were comfortable signing the receipt. They are accepting cash if you have exact change. It was a contactless exchange. As for the food...everything was delicious!Crab and Cheese appetizer was cooked perfectly with a generous amount of filling. The fresh rolls were as expected. It's a tight roll so they don't fall apart like I've experienced at other Thai restaurants. The Pra Ram is my FAVORITE Thai dish and not very many places serve it around here. It's a peanut butter delight! We also ordered the pineapple fried rice with brown rice and chicken; some of the best fried rice I've had! Full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and balanced with veggies and pineapples."

The spring roll was very nicely cooked, crispy and not at all greasy. Siam Square now operates in a very small, bright space, quite a contrast to their older operation in the motel near Arborland. Service was attentive and efficient. A decent lunch outing, but not one I'd say is a "must.""

This place was recommended by a colleague of my husband. We ordered 1 curry, a pad Thai, a Thai basil fried rice, and a fried fish dish. We were hungry and curious about the dishes they had to offer. Most likely we were going to have leftovers, but that was okay with us. Our food came out quickly except for the fish because it was made to order. I was automatically attracted to the curry dish. It was so good, and the flavor was great. We ordered medium spicy and IMO it was the perfect level. My husband ordered fried rice at the spiciest level, and it was delicious. By the time the fish dish came out, we were both hungry and only tasted a little bit of it. The fish was fried perfectly but we did wish the sauce wasn't too sweet. If you eat it with rice, it will workout better. We will be back in the future."

I don't know the lady that greeted me and waited on me. She was super friendly. I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken, which came out quickly for a Friday night. And I was also impressed with the amount of food I got. I usually do not need a to-go box. Well, let's face it, I am a fat @ss! Lol. The food was delicious, and this will be my new go-to Thai place. Also, another point that I need to point out is that they thanked me for my business. I don't need someone to tell me that, but it is nice to hear. "Excellent Thai take out restaurant on the northeast corner of Long Lake Rd and Telegraph. As this was our first time at this establishment we ordered our food through their on line menu that is really quite impressive in how it allows you to tailor your entree, which in this case was the drunken noodles, the way you want it with choice of meat (seven to choose from), choice of spicy (nine to choose from) , Extra ingredient options (a ton to choose from) and a special instruction field. These options were on top of the 10 base ingredients that comprised this dish. Very very impressive where I have really never seen such a comprehensive personalized on line menu system like this before! Aside from the drunken noodles (Pad Kee-Mow) we also ordered Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon. All three of the dishes were delicious with wonderful flavor and complementing spice that in our opinion was some of the best Thai food we have had in Metro Detroit. Of special note, the portion sizes of the entree's are very generous in size and are enough to feed 2+ people where my wife and I shared our entree for dinner and still had quite a bit left to snack on for Lunch the next day. The other key aspect are the prices which are very very reasonable especially when you consider the portion size. In summary, when you consider all you get at this restaurant, ability to easily personalize your dishes, large portions, excellent taste and all at a very budget friendly cost than this is a restaurant not to be missed especially if you are a fan of Thai food. Two huge thumbs up for this business as we will most definately be returning here in the very near future and sampling some of the many other dishes they make here!"

"Mount Clemens is definitely home to some great restaurants and Thai Orchid is one of those places. Came in on a rainy Tuesday night with a friend, having a craving for some green curry. On the outside, the building is just your standard small downtown shop. But it's nice and cozy inside and the owner was very warm and welcoming. I started with a hot tea and some Tom Yung soup with shrimp. Then I ordered the C5 (green curry) and my friend ordered Pad Thai. This is truly some of THE best Thai food I've had in the United States. The green curry was perfectly spiced (I like mild plus) and the portion was enough for 2. Loaded with veggies and green curry goodness. And a nice bowl of white rice on the side. My friend said it was the best pad Thai she's ever had also. I ordered a pad Thai spicy to go for my husband and an order of spring rolls. My husband gobbled it down and told me I need to bring carry out home from there from now on! Great restaurant, great price and great food!!!"
