"My new favorite restaurant outside of the Ann Arbor area- everything was incredible!! The vegetable gratin was so flavorful I could barely tell if I was eating vegetables. The espresso martini tasted like it had actual espresso, not milky and sickly sweet like other places where I've had them. I also shared dessert with my friend and forgot to take a picture which is a tragedy because it was the lemon torte cake and it was so delicious. The service was great- they had great recommendations and let us sit at the bar while we waited for our table reservation. I also love the location- they have a nice size parking lot and there's lots of street parking nearby as well. The restaurant is also near the downtown so it feels more peaceful and intimate and I love the inside- moody and cozy. Great for date night or intimate dinner with friends!"
"This is the cutest place with lots of fun and quirky decor. Enjoyed our salad and fish dip. Great wine and cocktails list. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Love checking out all the fun greeting cards. Looking forward to trying the brunch menu."

"Wow! The food is phenomenal here! I came here for a private event and everything was amazing. Friendly and attentive service. Lovely decor. Warm and inviting ambiance. The food was incredible! We had a multi course meal consisting of house made chips and dip, wild mushroom croquettes, Asian noodle salad, stuffed piquillo peppers, charred green beans, chicken Wellington, seared Atlantic salmon, and a lovely dessert platter.Wow! Every course was fantastic! We met the chef and he is so friendly and it's clear how much he loves cooking and creating an experience for his customers. There is also a speakeasy attached to the restaurant and I'm so glad I went there for an after dinner drink. Such a cool and relaxed vibe. Excellent drinks. There is a large free parking lot so parking is easy.I will never forget this amazing meal and experience. I highly recommend coming here! I can't wait to go back."
"The pretzel bites were amazing, as always with beer cheese and honey mustard. Our favorite drink was the George then Ringo. The cob salad was the bomb.com the burnt ends or steak tips whatever they called them were tender but not really a fan- it was more like brisket cubed up- they weren't bad but not something we want from there again. They did some amazing things to the exterior of the place - looks so damn cute! However the parking lot and grass was full with over like 50-60 cars and threw us off because it's a small resteraunt. I'm glad we decided to walk in anyways because we got sat right away- I wonder if they use the grounds for ride share."

Ambience inside was fine; nothing I'd phone home about. We were seated right away on a Sunday evening. There is outdoor seating but we opted for inside. My husband and I came with our 4 young kids and our young niece while visiting from out of town. Not the most kid friendly place. The kids menu only had four items on it. My son said the grilled cheese was good. The rest had chicken tenders and they're basically a breaded chicken breast that they just cut up. It's not your typical "tenders". There are NO FRIES which was a big bummer for the kids. Their side is sweet potato chips, and while the adults thought they were good, the kids didn't. Also, the water cups and lemonade cups did not have lids and you guessed it, one of the waters spilled everywhere. If a restaurant has a kids menu, they really should have cups with lids. My husband had the white fish filet and we both thought it was delicious. I had the Asiago baci and it was delicious. I would not come back again with kids. Four stars for my husband and I's food. Three stars for the overall experience with the kids and their food.

Coming here is always such a dream. Everyone is so kind. The ambiance and vibes are comfortable and relaxing. The food is always amazing and the drinks are spectacular. I have a gluten allergy and have never had an issue eating here. The wait staff and the chef make sure to accommodate and help me navigate their menu for the best options. Usually the menu is marked but is something is able to be altered to make gluten free they will let you know. Absolutely recommend coming here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or even just drinks. You'll love it here.

My husband and I heard great things about this restaurant. We have been wanting to try it, but every time we could it rained! We finally had a chance to try it out. There was about a 40 minute wait but a lot of seating outside. We sat down at the fire pit and relaxed. They say us down inside at a table. The outdoor seating was all full. You could still see all the water and the atmosphere was nice.My husband wanted to try their blonde beer but they ran out. He had an amber one on tap instead and loved it. He ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. I ordered the chicken tenders. We also ordered two sides of fries. There was a ton of fries! Next time we will order one to share. The tenders were delicious. My husband loved his meal as well. The service was great. We had a great time and we definitely want to come back!

I googled restaurants in Flint sitting 50 miles away and trying to find a spot to meet a friend for lunch. Now, you would think that since she lives there she would be able to make a suggestion or two, but alas no. It was left for me to find something suitable, and Blondies ended up being a nice surprise. Honestly, I thought it would be more of a dive bar, but I always think any place that uses the word spirits in their name seems like an older dive bar to me. This was actually a very large restaurant with plentiful seating and very lovely. The staff was friendly and receptive and very attentive. I did ask what they were known for and she gave me a list, but once I noticed the BLT pizza on the menu and immediately forgot everything else she said. I might have a slight obsession with these damn things. When the waitress brought it over, it was so beautiful I wanted to hang it up on the Louvre. Check out the pic, I ain't lyin'. So damn pretty. But this is where it ended. Now granted, I'm a bit of an expert on these ( pat myself on the back) and I might be a little more picky than your average rabbit, but I was a little disappointed The crust was very thick, dense and chewy and seemed a little undercooked. The toppings were solid, no issued there, but without a strong crust (especially when your pizza isn't using sauce) it really brings down the level of the pizza. I'm still giving it four stars though because my friend ordered the brussel sprouts and they were perfect and fantastic so I'm going to give them a pass on the pizza and assume it was an anomaly. Everything else about the day was great and I doubt that this one thing would consistently got wrong. Will definitely go back and try it one more time.

I came here over the weekend, and easily procured a seat outdoors. I'm not sure if I was lucky because of the weather (a bit chilly for a summer night), because it was Labor Day weekend, or because COVID has greatly slowed things down, but whatever the reason was we were sat right away.My date and I didn't end up drinking wine the night we went, but we did order a Charcuterie & Cheese Board. It was decent enough. The meats & cheeses were all very good, but my date wasn't happy when the olives came and there was only 1 black olive. And the crackers were all Costco staples, instead of higher end crackers, which is what I was expecting. The bread that came with it was very nice though. We also ordered the Carpaccio, which is thinly sliced beef on a bed of arugula (a TON of it) and topped with olive oil and capers. This was delicious, but the portion was a bit small for $20. We also ordered the Caprese Salad, which was well seasoned with a decadent balsamic glaze on top. I used the bread from our other appetizers to make a small Caprese Sandwich. Lastly we ordered a Cheese Flatbread & a Pizza with a few toppings. Both were both nicely cooked, with a thin crust.I have to say that the price point for the food and beverages were pretty much what one would expect for a place of this caliber, particularly being located in/near Grosse Pointe. So, why only 3 stars?Well, besides being a bit let down on the Carpaccio portion and the crackers & olives, it really was the service that ultimately dropped this from a 4 Star (possible 5) to a 3 Star visit. Our server, who was very nice when she came to our table, was just not checking in with us enough. The place (outdoor tables AND indoors) was extremely slow, so I was taken aback by how little she came around. When I asked her to bring my Coca-Cola with the flatbread she said, "Sure," but then brought it 5 minutes later. When I asked for another Coke she never brought one out. And when I gave her the international sign to bring the check & asked for boxes, it took over 15 minutes for her to actually bring the boxes and get me out of there (the date wasn't going horribly, but I was over it and wanted to dip TF out). So, while she was certainly pleasant when she was around she needed to be less lackadaisical and more speedy in bringing the things I asked for, bringing them at all (i.e., the 2nd Coke), and check in more. Overall I would likely come here again, and will change my review if things are different, but in general I would be prepared to spend an extra 25-35 minutes or more here then you think you will (regardless of how busy they are).

We had a lovely dinner here. I was appreciative of the thoughtful vegan options and got to enjoy a delicious meal with my husband, not just side dishes and salads. Everyone seemed to order the nachos which were shockingly large, especially given the low price. You can go all out for a fancy, delicious meal, or you could have some nachos or sliders and a cocktail. The place is beautiful, and the service was impeccable. Can't wait to come back!

"Ask for Levi!! What a sweet amazing kind soul this human is. Gave us the best service and recommended some great choices that we both really enjoyed. Try the cheesy shrimp dip, it's to die for!"
"Oh my GAWD.My cousin and I stopped on a Thursday afternoon for a drink at a new place we hadn't visited. We fell IN LOVE with this little quaint spot! The service, the food, the atmosphere was all amaze balls to us. Anne was great and so was everyone else we came in contact with I ordered lobster bites and let's be honest, I was expecting a fried ball of lobster. I am sooo grateful for what I got instead! A nice piece of toast DRENCHED in butter with huge pieces of lobster on top that was also DRENCHED in butter. I mean REAL BUTTER! If you're looking for a nice little spot with signature drinks and food, THIS IS IT"
"We spontaneous came on live music night featuring Billy Joel music. Enjoyed the lighting and atmosphere of the place. The front host went the extra mile to help us to find a seat in the pack house. We ordered drinks, hummus, and truffle fries all very good. We both will come back again. The only negative was we don't prefer high top tables because of the high no back chairs associated. Definitely make reservation, well worth it."
"What a beautiful location to go to during the holiday season (ask for the booth in the turret for a spectacular view). We were staying at the Element hotel and this was only a 1/2 block away, a very convenient walk. I would go again for drinks and the CHIPS (and small plates)."
