"I haven't been back in a few years so I had to post an update! I had an amazing experience at The Taco Stand Taqueria! The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying a meal on a nice day. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. But the real star is the food - it's fantastic! The California burrito, in particular, is a must-try. It's jam-packed with fresh ingredients and a hearty portion of tender steak, making every bite a delight. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great taqueria experience!"
"I had wanted to try this place for quite some time. It was pretty good a nice place to have a quick taste. Really small inside."

"This Mexican taqueria is a hidden gem in downtown Detroit. Don't judge the size of this place, because the food is excellent, affordable and folks that work there are awesome. A taco lover's hotspot! They also have great burritos, enchiladas and quesadillas. It's ideal for take-out, but they have small dine in area, too. I'm always greeted warmly and the staff there aim to please their customers. Highly recommended!"
"Best Birria tacos I've ever had. AnywhereEverything's good here, but these are the best things on the menu not even close! Service is great Ambiance is great"
"We had a really good experience here and were pleased with our food. It was near to where we were staying, and was really accessible."
"Came here with some coworkers and a salesperson who took us to lunch twice now in the last weeks, and what' a pleasant surprise. Normally I would have just passed by this place, doesn't look like much from the outside and being in a strip mall, but I do recommend giving this place a try.The menu is not your typical Mexican that you would find in Michigan, they have wide variety of fresh creative items along with some traditional favorites. We had the guacamole, queso for starters, ver good. I had the shredded beef enchiladas both times, very good. The service is top notch, fast, friendly and efficient. They were surprisingly busy for a Monday lunch today. The ambience is clean and modern. Give them a try!"
"It is one of the best Mexican supermarkets I've been to in metro Detroit, even beating the supermarkets in Mexicantown. La Tiendita is a small supermarket packed with everything you need to create Mexican food at home - fresh meat, cheese, salsa, guacamole, fruits, and vegetables. The supermarket also offers an extensive menu of Mexican favorites made to order. The burrito was delicious and huge. It was enough for two meals - one of the best burritos I've had. The Aqua Fresca was also delicious. There is no reason to go to fast food Mexican restaurants when there are places like La Tiendita. This will be the only place in the Westland area I'll go to for Mexican food from now on."
"Husband and I enjoyed the tostada and a burrito crunch, along with a side of guacamole and chips. The guacamole was the best we've ever had. If you like cilantro you will love their guac!! Food was fresh, warm and good and the burrito had everything yummy in it...rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, chicken. I'm going to try one with barbacoa next time! Service was great."
"Twelve stars for Amigos!! OMG we just finished such a feast! No wimpy portions or flavors here. We couldn't decide so we had tacos locos, chicken quesadilla, crispy wrap, chicken fajita bowl, fish tacos and fresh made chips from their fresh-made tortillas. No idea they would offer such huge portions. There was a guy at the counter eating a special burrito - he needed two hands to get around that thing and it looked awesome. We hadn't been to amigos for a bit- our loss- and their new location in the village of GP is getting all the press but the chef and staff here at this location really deserve a round of applause!"
"One of my favorite cuisine is Korean BBQ. This was my first time here. It didn't take me long to appreciate Kimchi Plus! Fantastic meal, wonderful service and such a clean and cool aesthetic. Each side (banchan) was delicious and complimented the meal and a nice appetizer as well. I enjoyed the japchae as it had deep flavors and oh, so satisfying! The meat variety were all quality with nice sized portions. The marinade that is used is spot on! It enhances the meat so much! I enjoyed the shrimp and BBQ chicken. My dining party raved about the kalbi and the bulgogi. We also loved the eggs and corn cheese. What treats! It really rounded out the meal. Everyone was so nice and accommodating! The staff is great! the entire experience was amazing! We cannot wait to return!"
"I first discovered the deliciousness of Detroit Taco at Greektown Casino in Detroit. I love to play the slots at the Detroit casino's and will often have comps for free food. Greektown recently added Detroit Taco so I gave it a try and boy am I glad I did. Not only does the food taste delicious but you can taste how fresh the ingredients are. A friend that resides in Shelby Township knew I loved Detroit Taco so he let me know that there is one near where I live which is in Sterling Hts by Lakeside Mall. A trip down Hall Rd onto S Van Dyke Frwy, 1st exit go E on 23 mile, immediate right onto Corporate Drive and Walla you have found the best taco's in all of Michigan! They are really into being healthy by making everything fresh and not adding lard to the beans. The pop machine offers 4 pops that use cane sugar. You have to ask for salt and pepper. The place is spotless and the personnel are pleasant and efficient. There is plenty of parking outside. I love all the cool artwork inside the building. The steak in my taco was cooked perfectly, there was a lot of meat in the taco and it was seasoned perfectly making this taco delicious with every bite. Mom elected to have a crispy chicken taco and she ate every bite of her two taco's. The chicken was shredded, she said it taste better that way. We arrived on a Tuesday evening and were pleasantly surprised that it was Taco Tuesday, where if you buy a taco the 2nd one is free. We will be back."

Great little restaurant with super tacos! Try the red taco combo with consomme. The California burrito was good too, and huge.

Very friendly and super attentive service. The chips are warm and crunchy, and I'd also recommend the Crispy Flower, a breaded cauliflower with a nice tamarind sauce. All of our party had tacos; all very good whether shrimp, chicken or fish. Sat outside in the patio area and enjoyed the evening.

My family frequently has dinner at Don Taco and we love it. I decided to have them do the catering for my Fire Department holiday party this past weekend. I can honestly say we will be doing this again for sure. We did a taco bar and it was absolutely perfect. PLENTY of food and everything was fresh and so yummy! Everyone LOVED it! Thank you Don Taco!

Love Meshico!! Solid taco place with fresh flavors and great waitstaff. Inside is welcoming and clean. Couple different seating areas with booths, bartop, and a dining room area. They also have outdoor seating. Bathrooms are to the back right. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Menu wise, tons of options. Chips and salsa are complimentary (when they first opened you had to pay for them, smart move Meshico!) I always order the Taco Plato which includes your choice of 2 tacos and 2 sides. Tacos are always delicious and a good size. The refried beans and cilantro lime rice are my favorite. I usually order the shrimp tacos and carnitas. The shrimp are plump and the carnitas have good flavor. Don't forget to order dessert! Both the apple cinnamon taquitos and churros are absolutely amazing! Warm flavors and cool ice cream hits the spot.

Appreciate having a local Mexican market in my hometown. With Mexican corn or elote all the rage, you can buy queso cotija here, no wrong internet cheese substitutions for the real deal. They have a small selection of groceries, in-house restaurant with some great nachos, last I asked I think they do tamales on the weekends only. They also have a carniceria or in house butcher. Think most of the business relates to meat market and restaurant. Upon check out I think they place a small surcharge when using debit or credit. Bill was 14.63, but screen read 15 something.

Food is exceptional. Of all the Mexican restaurants in area this is easily the best. Be prepared to get your own drinks and take your bill to register to pay.

"Came here for dinner on sunday night with my fiance. There was one person in front of us. This is a food truck juat off 75 with a private parking lot. We ordered tripas (tripe), lengua (beef tongue), and cabeza (beef head). Also ordered a horchata and it only.comes in pne size small. Tacos were good but it is wrapped in foil so be prepared if you are eating this in your car. They have a few tables to eat under the tent. After enjoying our tacos we got elotes and fruit (mango and papaya) with chamoy in the little truck behind this taco truck in the same lot. No photos of tacos because we were so hungry"
"My original review was far more ambivalent. Having gone there several times now, I realize I wrote it in haste. The innovation in food here is unexpected and outstanding and needs to be experienced.First, the ambiance ... it's a neighborhood bar and grill with a Rat Pack/Mafia theme. Kinda cheesy, but hey, it beats the standard themes you see in bars and chain restaurants. Not my thing, but then again, they have a poster about wisdom from The Godfather. That's cool. The waitstaff is, by and large, pretty good. Had a couple of unremarkable experiences, but by and large, servers are nice, attentive and friendly. Haven't had much experience with the bar aside from getting take-out; this is where I've found service to be the weakest. Take-out orders seem to be far lower on the priority list than bar patrons. Not sure why this is; we're both paying customers, so to be treated like I'm not there is less than appreciated. But we rarely do take-out, so it's easily avoided. As for the food, it runs the gamut. You have your standard bar fare; appetizers, burgers, pizza and more general cuisine. Those burgers? MONSTERS. They only come in one size -- half-pound -- and you pick the toppings, which are generously heaped on. Six slices of bacon? Yup, that's standard. Their loaded baked potato? Easily a nine-inch potato, probably half a pound in weight. The sandwiches? How about a combination Philly cheese streak/French dip? Once you've had it, you'll never eat either sandwich separately again. How about a turkey sandwich covered in spinach-artichoke dip on a pretzel roll? The appetiers are made to share, too; the boneless wings come in a serving of eight, which is almost a meal in and of itself in other restaurants. This is just the tip of the iceberg. They have some of the most unique food in the area, and it's in the last place you'd expect. Most places, I stick with one or two dishes. I think I've had eight or nine things here, and there's a few more yet to try on my list, like the calzones and the ribs. Oh, and I did I mention there's free popcorn while you wait for your food? THERE'S FREE FRESH POPPED POPCORN WHILE YOU WAIT.This is a hidden and unexpected gem. If you haven't been, go. Now."
"It's a cool place to go get some tacos. I got the chicken tacos and they were pretty good. Everyone was really nice and plenty of pinball to play if you're into that. I will definitely go back!"
"At Muncheez one can live every day like Taco Tuesday! Ok, that's probably corny, but I'm in my feels.I really enjoy a theme; doesn't everyone? Especially when it's tied to a comforting crave-worthy food like tacos.I thoroughly enjoyed Muncheez. I just hate that it's so far from my home; but perhaps that's a good thing.Walking in, the service counter is the first thing that you see. You order your food, prepare your own drink and seat yourself. There are lots of yummy treats on the menu to choose from. All Taco Tuesday worthy. There are tacos of course, but also cheese sticks, chicken fingers, sweet treats, burgers, quesadillas, and chips & guac to name a few.I ordered birria and supreme tacos and a side of guac with no onion. The birria is so darn tasty; with tender meat, gooey cheese and the magic of the sauce-dipped fried tortilla, it's seriously taco heaven.I could eat these every week. The supreme was good as well. The guac was so great. I think I tasted lime which accents the avo well. I don't care for strong onion-filled guac. I was pleased that they made me an order without it.I really enjoyed the setting. I visited about an hour before closing, the lights in the dining area were turned down, while roaring fires on video screens lit the room. There was also a telenovela playing on the television.I felt so warm, cozy and entertained. The ambiance made the dining experience even better.Kudos to the staff at Muncheez. What you're doing there truly works for this Yelping fan."
"Muncheez has taken over the olde Hippos location. I was in the neighborhood and hungry.I tried one slider and one carnitas taco. Both are excellent! Tasty. A proper taco, not a Taco Bell clone. Will I return? Absolutely, yes!"
"Went on a Sunday during the Lions game and got front row seats at the bar! They also have a breakfast bar on Sunday mornings so I highly recommend going during a game. Our bartender was great & served a heavy pour!!"
"I love taco trucks and this one is one of the better ones I've tried. I had two asada tacos and two pastor tacos - less than $7 but it was honestly too much food. I might try two quesadillas and one taco next time. The meat was tender and flavorful. The salsas on the side and complementary lemon wedges were nice.My only complaint is there there's nowhere to sit. I understand the food truck mentality, but parking it somewhere where a few picnic tables are nearby would really add to the viability of this as a lunch option."
"At a graduation party in Orchard Lake and Shell Shock'd is here providing food for the party. It is all GREAT!!The birria, the chicken birria, the guacamole with chips and the corn are all fire!!!!Please check these guys out!!"
"Great new addition to the Mexican food scene in the area! The ingredients are authentic, the salsas are homemade, the meats are well-seasoned, and the staff is friendly. My ONLY complaint is they don't have salt on the tables -- I like both salt and lime on my street tacos. That said, it's still 5 stars for me, and I highly recommend the Campechano and Al Pastor on corn."
"The service was great. I think 3 people checked in on us during our visit. The menu is really solid and I like that I can order things ala carte, I don't always want the rice and beans. They also have Combos for $13. I wound up getting the 3 taco combo but could only finish 2. My husband got the que pasa burrito and it was large enough that he brought half home for lunch tomorrow. We live around the corner and I'm happy to have a close place with easy parking when I don't want to go downtown."
"So happy they opened a location in the Wixom area! We ordered online for pickup and the order was 100% correct. I love a taco salad and theirs is so good and very generous serving! We also enjoyed the Fajita Trio, and Combo Plate that came with 2 beef tacos, cheese enchilada, bean & cheese tostada and a pork tamale-all very delicious. And of course had to sample sides of queso, guacamole and chips & salsa which were all top notch. Definitely will be ordering frequently as our new favorite local Mexican restaurant."
"Good customer service. They treated me like a human that they cared about, not just a number. All of the tacos are excellent for the price and the turbo sauce is actually a good signature sauce. Keith Lee told no lies in his review."
"Fast service. Spicy chicken slider was great also their shoe string fries. Had Oberon on tap. Any Michigan restaurant or bar not having Oberon during season is unforgivable. Cheese curds also tasty. Very reasonable prices. If I had to search for any negatives would be hopefully they expand their menu and it was quite noisy. Don't know if that's beyond their control though."
"Food good on every visits! The restaurant itself is beautiful! My first visit we had a phenomenal waitress! This is my second time here, the female bartender is anything but friendly, just dry acting, her energy is throwing me off, my guest and I had to leave the bar and sit in a booth. She seem to have perked up once we moved, she ended up being our server. I hope she gets her act together eventually. But other than that I will be back because I like the food."
"They have chicken birria tacos!! First time trying the chicken version of birria tacos. I am not the biggest fan of red meat so when I heard they make their birria tacos with chicken I just had to stop by and try them! Best decision made all week! They definitely do not skimp on the meat portions for the tacos, so mouthwatering and full of flavor. A must try if you are in the area. The people behind the counter were so sweet and really care about their business. It is located inside a liquor store but there is 1 dining table you're able to sit at and enjoy your food. I will be coming back more often when in the area."
"It was super authentic, I'll give it that. The prices/portions were great!I wish that the veggie taco had more than lettuce and avocado on it - but I made something up that didn't exist on the menu. They have a really good pico de gallo that is a little zesty, you have to ask for it.It is a market with a restaurant in the back. The restaurant goes to the market and takes the produce off the shelves. So it is FRESH."
"Dang Bino's! Tonight you guys were on point. We got the gyro pizza, ham and cheese pizza, an Italian sub and the 4cheese bread. Only good things to write home about. So cheesy!!!!! So melty!!!! Hot and delicious leaving my family of 5 absolutely satisfied and worth every penny. Can't wait to try something new next time!"
"Best chicken tacos in Detroit. Prices are awesome. Easy on, easy off - Springwells & I-75 Southbound side. Don't sleep on this! You must check it out. Food Truck is located across from Mobil gas station. The service is speedy & the food is perfection. They truly have their system down to a science. We never wait longer than 5 minutes for our food, no matter how many people are waiting. Huge lot for parking between truck & freeway. This is a very popular spot. It is perfect for grabbing a quick snack before hitting the city, or eats for the way home. The horchata is delicious! El Parrian is our go-to."
