"This place, this place, this place!! Incredible Pho. The broth is super flavorful, the portion sizes are great, ask for extra meat if you want that. My family of 4 came to dine here and the service was incredible as was the food. So much so that I came back the very next day! The best Pho in the city HANDS DOWN!"
"Absolutely phenomenal service and the food is the best in town. It was my boys' first time trying chicken shawarma sandwiches. They couldn't stop complimenting how good it was, and they ate it up quick! It was a very busy Friday evening, and I had left without grabbing part of my takeout order. I called to let them know, and Sam sent a guy to my house to deliver it! I even offered to come back and get it, but he insisted. Just goes to show that these guys really care for their customers. I've been here many times before, and this is just one example of how their excellent service compliments their amazing food!"

"I thought the food here was good!! The Chicken Paid Thai was pretty good, I felt like it needed just a bit more flavor, but overall a pretty good meal. The online ordering was simple, and was easy to pick up. Looks like a cute place for dine in as well, I was just there for some carryout. Will be back!"
"Great atmosphere, friendly, fast service. Wonderful flavors. My ramen could have been more al dente. Noodles were overcooked."
"My parents and I got takeout from here. I definitely was excited as their tastes are similar to mine and they are more gung ho on sharing items than the hubs. Sadly the hubs was not also available for this because this place is right up his alley with selections like The Big Three which is a sandwich with three pork products. We decided on three classic sandwiches for our group. The baked ham, the corned beef deluxe and the classic reuben. We also got a large bean and ham soup because we all are fans of bean soup. The soup.is.a.must. This is fantastic. Thick, rich and chock full of chunks of meat. It is easily a meal in itself. No matter what you get here get some soup to go at the very least. It's even better reheated. Yum.We preferred the gently crunchy nicely melty reuben to the deluxe corned beef but both were very good. We just liked the way all the flavors melded together on the reuben. Basically we liked the extra oomph that comes from melty cheese I think. The kraut was a hit though too.The ham was fantastic. It was our third fave of the bunch but still quite good. The ham itself is delicious as was the swiss. We are just more corned beef lovers who prefer more junk on a sammie. You cannot go wrong, it's just a matter of your personal preferences. The meats here were all quality, juicy and tender. To go was packed nicely and everything arrived fresh and happy. A fifteen minute trip and the soup was still very warm and fully ensconced in the container, no spills or drips. Kudos on that. We will be back for more takeout"
"Everything at Alma is amazing. Quality ingredients, large portions, delicious classics. Excellent service from Danielle the bartender and Laila, a seasonal server."
"Our monthly lunch group varies from four to twelve people and we try to mix the type of places we meet at with respect to ethnicity, cost, ability to accommodate a group, and the location. Looking at recent places we've visited, I noticed that we haven't been to a Greek restaurant, so Athens Souvlaki fit the criteria. We arrived at 11:30am on Saturday and it wasn't busy yet so we were seated immediately and waited for the rest of our group...only five today! I had been studying the photos and menus on Yelp and had predetermined that it's been a while since I've had a Gyro so my wife and I both ordered the same thing and also split a bowl of Lemon Rice (Avgolemono) Soup.Service was excellent and our food came out very quickly. The soup was delicious and you can add chicken for an extra charge. The Gyro was also very tasty and was served with what seemed to be straight sour cream instead of the usual Tzatziki sauce. Overall we had a great meal and leisurely time with friends."
"We like to try other places, so this one is checked off that winging it list. Ordered the Chicken Sharawma with a Fattoush salad. Chicken is just okay with mild flavor, not dry, not moist, or a wow factor, just there. Rice is goodFattoush salad, let's just say my wife put ranch dressing over the lettuce, burnt pita, and the existing dressing. I passed after a few tries. It is always suggested trying it because of different tastes. This one is not for us."
"Just had this place today for the first time. AMAZING and Delicious - thats all I have to say and that should sum it up. got two sandwiches - both were amazing, I have tried all the Deli's in the area. This by far takes the cake... definitely stop in and grab a sandwich or two, will definitely be going back to try the other menu items!!"
"Empress Gardens, oh how I love you!! This place is fantastic! Specializing in Cantonese/Szechuan cuisine, they have been around for over 50 years! My family has enjoyed this restaurant for over 40 years and it never disappoints. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it's all delicious. They cook all the proteins to perfection: pork, beef, shrimp, chicken, etc...I love the Singapore Noodles, which has shrimp and chicken in angel hair pasta and curry. Beef with Pea Pods in another favorite dish. The beef is very tender and the sauce is delicious. Their fried rice dishes are a delight. I like the Yong Chow fried rice because it has chicken, ham and shrimp in it. I always get an egg roll--crispy of the outside and yummy on the inside.Vegetarian options too. They also offer dinner and lunch specials. Very friendly service. They have a dining room but it's currently closed due to Covid. Carry out only. I'm so glad they have remained open, continuing to provide excellent service and food during the pandemic. Easy pick up window and customers are requested to wear masks. All of the employees wear masks.Located in the Harvard Row strip mall with plenty of parking."
"Been here a few times for breakfast. Always friendly staff. The waitresses stay on top of everything. Tons of choices from standard breakfast to banana bread French toast and spinach omelets. Place is clean with a remodeled look. They have a lot of employees so it is hopping and food comes out fairly quickly. Will continue to support the business."
"So cute and so delicious. The shop itself is adorable, with cute art and staff is so nice and friendly. Soup is delicious and I love the rotating schedule - they post online the flavors for the week so you can always plan out your visit. And sandwiches are delicious too. Would definitely recommend. Everything I've tried has been delicious. They expanded the sitting area from previously so there are more tables, or it's delicious for takeout. Will definitely be back."

With quite a few South East Asian choices in the area, Que Hmong hits the mark.Fresh, abundant and authentic Pho and Rice/Vermicelli plates.Busy, smallish seating area that is very affordable.Try the others then come over to the real deal.

Amazing service! I honestly don't think I have seen one server be a host, run takeout orders, communicate to the back of the house, and take care of 5-6; and doing it all WELL.We got two entrees with rice and salad, and a side of hummus. It all tasted great and the portions were enough to feed 4 people easily... it was just two of us though. The restaurant very clean.

Food: My Pad Thai in curry sauce was incredibly flavorful and at just the right spice level. My daughter, who has become a Superhero of Spice, enjoyed her hot spicy level a great deal. Portion sizes ensured that we had leftovers!Service: Staff was friendly, attentive, and regularly made sure we were doing well without seeming intrusive.Ambiance: Clean, comfortable, a little kitschy, bright colors outside. It screamed "we've been here forever".My daughter and I are planning to return in the near future!

Ima Noodles had warm, healthy, fresh food in a cold winter day in Detroit. I got the seafood ramen, which as listed as "spicy", but it was pretty gentle. All the fresh seafood made for a nice flavor to the dish. My husband liked his Forrest ramen. It was loaded with a variety of mushrooms, which was key to his meal.

I just paid $30 bucks for a sandwich and one soda. Coleslaw was spoiled. This is so disappointing I won't be back. Abit of advice if you desire retention...this sandwich is way overpriced and there was a piece of turkey mixed in with the corned beef. Be fair and consistent.

The food was delicious! We had the chicken & waffles, pulled pork sandwich, shrimp & crab ragoons, upside down apple pie and the carrot cake. EACH item was delicious!!!! The restaurant was very clean and the ambience was quiet during the afternoon. The greeter and server were both friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend eating here because we'll be going back to try the rest of the menu.

Their Greek salad is awesome! It's the only thing I get with double pita and a bottle of dressing. The pita is homemade so I get two! #nothinglikeit

"Feeling under the weather, I ordered via GrubHub. The black eyed peas and kale soup is DELICIOUS. Not too heavily seasoned but has a pepper kick. I didn't need to add anything to this soup. I also purchased chicken noodle soup as well. I'm excited to go back again when I'm not sick."
"Delicious Chinese carry out food . Everything is so good . Love the wonton soup. The egg rolls delicious"
"I grew up eating Chinese Food from a place in Madison Heights called Golden Wheel. Finally, a place that almost matches it! When I say almost, it's the closest I've found to it any where including Oakland and Livingston counties. It's about 85% similar.I was so happy to find out they have bean sprouts eggs rolls! You have no idea! The egg rolls were filled with bean sprouts, chicken, and whatever else they put in it. I actually would have liked less chicken and more sprouts! They were good though. Nice and crispy and not drippy with grease. The almond chicken was on point. Again, fried to perfection without being overly greasy. The brown sauce was good. I would have loved some mushroom pieces in it. The fried rice was ok. It was a pork fried rice. The flavor was good but it was a little dry. That was the only part of my meal that I really had a "complaint" about. My meal was $8 amd change which I thought was very reasonable. That was with the extra egg roll I ordered. Other places I've been to charge a little more, but have two chicken breasts, this meal came with one. I'm not complaining though. It's a huge breast and this meal could easily feed two normal eating humans.Next time I'm going to try out their chop suey and see how that tastes."
"Huge portions, food is always hot and fresh. My only go to place for Chinese food! Also the service is always great and fast"
"Kabob Kabob was great!! I just needed a quick little something this afternoon and I'm so glad I picked this one. The Fattoush salad was fresh & delish with the besttttt pita-croutons I've ever had (and I order fattoush plenty)! The dressing was light & flavorful. And I also got a full side of pickles because I can never resist! Can't wait to try more during a real meal hour :)I ordered through Yelp/GrubHub & my pickup was quick, easy & earlier than the suggested time."
"I love this place, such a welcoming, cool spot to grab some lunch. Deli meat is fresh. I love all their soup options."
"This is totally good old school Chinese restaurant. Reminds me one of those more expensive dine-in Chinese restaurants in the 80's with nice decor, friendly service and really good food. Unfortunately most Chinese restaurants downgraded to cheap carry out places on every corner. Not Hong Kong Cafe. I love this place. Very friendly service, great food, full bar and nice comfortable atmosphere. Too bad they are closing at 8 pm as we usually go to dinner around that time and unfortunately not open for lunch anymore but if you can make it in this window between 4 and 8 pm, you absolutely should. And did I say that Wonton soup is the best I have ever had?"
"From out of town and looking for a local place to eat. This was a gem! Delicious food and amazing service!"
"Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, slow service. Came here by myself on a Tuesday night while on a work break. It wasn't busy, but each server seemed to be running around. Pita bread was served, but with butter. The other Sahara's I've been to give both bread and garlic dip. I was hoping to be in and out but was done with 45 minutes post sitting since service was slow. The chicken lemon rice soup was good, but I prefer their lentil soup. I also ordered the beef cream chop sandwich and I didn't enjoy it. The meat was too chewy and the sandwich was bland, missing sauce. Probably won't be back at this location."
"Awesome good served by awesome staff! Kids bento box was a huge amount of food for the price. All the sushi tasted great. Loved the novelty of the adult capri sun with flashing ice cubes. My spicy Korean soup had the perfect spice level- very spicy! Tons of tofu but could have used a little more seafood. Be aware it is a very small restaurant and it was freezing next to the front door. Also the cooked entrees came out a long time after the sushi so order an appetizer. Next time I am trying the Vegetarian Omakase because these chefs know what they're doing!"
"Wong's is definitely my favorite carryout Chinese food place. Their sesame chicken is to die for! I also love their won ton soup and their sweet and sour chicken which happens to be my husbands favorite also. I love the fact that they have dinner rolls. Most carryout places do not. Highly recommend! Portions are very generous too."
"I ordered the Ham and Cheese Omelette With toast and a short stack of pancakes. The food was just average. Really it seemed as if it was all reheated and not cooked fresh. The presentation was great. Service was good nothing special stands out. I haven't been here in about three years and one thing that I noticed is that the dining room seems to be much cleaner then in the past"
"Service was outstanding. The food was perfectly prepared. Beautiful presentation. The restaurant is well laid out. Prices are fair, with huge portions. I highly recommend this place"
"Welcomed upon approach to counter in a clean establishment with friendly staff. What more could you want when picking up carry out? I ordered the corned beef 6oz sandwich, rye grilled well, horseradish, and slaw. Portioning was superb. I can't describe how important portions are, but this place understands portions to a tee. Everyone needs to be eating here. One of the best deli sandwiches I have ever devoured."
"This is the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. I'm down in Houston now and the food sucks. I tried the sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup and egg rolls. All are fantastic. The egg rolls are my favorite. I had three for lunch before I left town."
"The place sucks... no other way to put it.We have ordered twice now since our office relocated close to this establishment . Food is mediocre at best. They just can't get an order right . Multiple items wrong both times , have to drive back to get situated . The lunch comes with chips you have to remind them , hey can I get the chips as they are never in the bag. They were out of roast beef but it didn't prompt that when ordering online , I show up they tell me in person and had to wait another 15 min for one wrap. You would think to call and let me know . I suspect this business won't continue to last until they clean up their service and accuracy."
"I don't live in the area but when I am home visiting my family, we have a tradition of always ordering dinner from here at least once because it is consistently delicious. Our favorite dishes include: Chicken Drunken Noodles, Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Pad Ped, and the Crab Rangoons. We have never been disappointed with the quality. Super tasty!!!!"
"Everything we ordered via DoorDash was so delicious and order arrived 100% correct! We had a large varied order of: Jonna Burger with shoestring type fries, Mac & Cheese, Sampler Appetizers, Taco Salad, the Works Pizza and Cheese Bread. EVERY single item was so well prepared and delicious. Will definitely order from Jonna again!"
"Mmmmhhhmmmm, this place is a solid 5 stars!Their shawarma and tawook are awesome and if you like kafta, that's delicious too. It's like chipotle for Mediterranean foodPick your sandweech or bowl and then tell them All things! You want in or on it. I got a bowl the first time and loved it so much I got it again the next time. My husband loves the tawook sandwich with double meat. Side note, kids eat free with a small free bowl of your choice of meat and rice or whatever you want in it"
"Great local spot for Thai Food! Recently under new ownership and I like it better than the last Thai place that previously occupied this space. The staff have always been very friendly and from what I can see, it looks very clean! I've ordered online, and have had great experiences each time. The Drunken Noodle was very good and flavorful and all of the veggies were crisp. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of sauce. I ordered it hot and it was spicy, but not overkill. A lot of places seem to hold back with the spice, but I feel that this was appropriate for a hot order. They'll do "very hot" but I've also heard that you can get it "Thai Hot".My wife had the Orange Chicken and it wasn't the run of the mill pulverized chicken that a lot of Chinese restaurants use. The chicken was nice and meaty white meat, perfectly fried and crispy. Again, I thought they had the right amount of sauce but my wife thought it was just a bit too little. The portion sizes are generous and you'll probably have enough for a second meal. All meals also come with a spring roll and a drink, so this represents a really good value! It's nice to local spot that offers great Thai carry out!"
"I'm from the Detroit area and we used to have some good Chinese Restaurants there. I'm always finicky about Chinese. I tried one place in the area and hated it so I went in to Honto with no expectations. My first disappointment is that they were out of noodles for the Pad Thai. I'm not sure how that happens, but it did. My only other disappointment was the fried rice. It had little flavor to it. It tasted like white rice with a little bit of soy sauce. I'm referring to the rice that came with my meal. If I ordered the meal, maybe it better.I got the almond boneless chicken with hot and sour soup. I freaking love their hot and sour soup. You get a nice sized cup with your meal and it is so good. They also give you the fried wonton slices to put in it. The almond chicken was good. I prefer less gravy, but it wasn't so much that it ruined the meal. It was two breasts deep fried to perfection. In addition to my meal we got some fried dumplings. They were different than others I've had, but very tasty! When I go back I'll probably just order those and soup!"
"Hands down the BEST Mexican food in town and for milessss.Fresh guacamole check Best cheese dip check Fresh Crispy warm chips checkQuesadilla Apache was the best I've ever had!Rice was also so good! Will be back and back again!"
"We did not dine in but did get carry out. It was a 30 minute wait. Food was ready when I arrived. The food was extremely good for it being Chinese. Often times Chinese food tastes bland, too salty, or very greasy. Their food was spot on. The prices were extremely affordable, cheaper than any restaurant in the area. They even have sushi, and a couple of different cuisine options. Lovely place!! I would definitely eat here again as it is now my new favorite Chinese restaurant."
