"I arrived at Cafe Muse around 10:15 on Saturday and had no problem getting a table for two. There are not too many tables inside, but thankfully it was not busy at the time. The hostess was very quick to bring me water and coffee while I waited for my friend to join me. All of the sweet breakfast items looked amazing, but we both ended up getting the Plain Jane Scramble. The food arrived very quickly and was steaming hot. The eggs were nice and fluffy and were a great sized portion- neither of us could finish our eggs! With the meal comes a giant slice of sourdough bread, and we chose the garlic potatoes over the mashed sweet potatoes. The toast was great, and my only complaint was that the serving of the potatoes was not larger. The meal also came with a few slices of fruit and the pineapple was very good. I chose to add on a side of bacon which was cooked perfectly. The coffee was standard but also tasted good. My friend ordered a vanilla latte and she felt that there was a bit too much foam on top, which she ended up scooping off. Our server was attentive, but towards the end of our meal we did have to wait a bit to get another coffee. I did not have a problem with the 20% gratuity being added on, but we had good service and I would have tipped 20% regardless! But I do understand the frustration of not receiving good service and then having to leave a mandatory tip. Based on my experience today, I would recommend Cafe Muse. We had good service and while we ordered a "plain" breakfast it was executed well. I would definitely be interested in coming back and trying some of their sweet options next!"
"Great breakfast spot. Lots of savory & sweet options pending on your mood. Food was good and since it wasn't super busy at the time food came out quickly. Staff was nice. Since the inside is kind of small, I assume it can be pretty busy during peak times and on the wknd. Definitely want to come back to try more of the many delicious looking items on their menu."

"Birmingham and so many cute little restaurants and Commonwealth Cafe is no excepton. I've eaten brunch here twice during my last few visits and, based on the line, it seems to be a pretty popular spot. My brother was the lucky one to wait in line this last time while we took his little ones to play outside...there were a bunch of other little ones outside for them to play with as their family members waited in line. I enjoyed an iced latte (a must!) and some sort of veggie omelette. It was super fresh and tasty. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area. Instead I'll continue to be a regular when I visit my brother and friends who live in the area!"
"Open late in Royal Oak, and with the space fully decked out for the Christmas season, we swung by at 9pm on a Wednesday evening and it was poppin. While the menu on their website needs updating (they don't have shrimp tacos or chicken tacos any longer, but have added many other fun options), overall the food was decent and tasty. We got the Buffalo Cauliflower- solid, delicious, and a good portion size - to start. For our meals, we got the impossible burger, the vegan Korean style "beef" burger, and the impossible chorizo nachos. All were good, but nothing really stood out to us by any means. My partner got a beer, which he really enjoyed. They have an extensive beer menu and among them, a selection of Christmas brews. I got the margarita with cranberry puree on the cocktail menu, which wasn't too sweet yet boozy and balanced. I definitely recommend the buffalo cauliflower... However, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server was consistently away for periods of time , usually wrapping silverware in the back. When I asked for the paper towels to be refilled in the men's restroom, multiple times to different staff, they were never refilled through the entirety of our visit of over an hour and a half. While we were able to get seated quickly upon arriving, I hear rumors of long wait times at other points in the week, so be ready to be patient. That said, it's still a good spot for a late evening meal in Royal Oak, so I'd definitely go back for another visit."
"We really enjoyed this experience. We loved the high top tables and decor. I asked the "chef" (not sure what to call him) what his favorite wrap to prepare was and then had him make that. Food was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious. Easy to find and park and close to the zoo where we were visiting for Wild Lights."
"Got the I -75 shawarma and cilantro fries which both are delicious and that jalapeno ketchup is the best with those fries ....it's always a treat when I'm in the area when I can stop in I love this place HIGHLY SUGGEST TRYING this place out"
"Had the Meal Lovers Skillet with scrambled eggs on top and mini pancakes--everything was delicious! The service was impressively quick, and my cappuccino came out first, which was a nice touch. Portions were generous, so I had plenty of leftovers. Definitely a spot I'd come back to! It was full of natural light, very clean and an overall relaxing ambiance."
"Not the same! Ok, but it used to be amazing. Bring back the old recipe for the Africano!"
"Awesome experience! Super fast and delicious. Would def recommend joining them when you're in Ann Arbor."
"OMG so good! We happened to be Ypsilanti on National Fried Chicken day and I am so glad I found Ma Lou's. We came in not knowing anything about the place, but the cashier was quick with recommendations. We ordered The OG (Southern and medium) along with the WTF fries. Everything was amazing including the homemade hot sauce on the table. And you can't beat the price and quality. Highly recommended."
"My friend recommended this place for us to eat from the previous reviews and it met our expectations! The place was nice, neat, and cutely decorated for the holidays. We also appreciated the private parking lot over street parking. My friend had the The Breast Chicken Parm Sandwich and I had the Serious Beef Sandwich. We also got drinks from the fridge, I had a yummy cherry soda and she had a refreshing coconut water. We loved our sandwiches and were able to have it as leftovers. I will say mine was very fragrant, soggy probably from the juices, and a little messy to eat. None of which bothered me but just to note!"
"Great ambience with great food .Been here a couple of times , restaurant runs busy most of the times. Staff is very courteous . I am a vegetarian and i tried super falafel wrap and it was really nice."

Food 5/5 So, the Exotic mushroom scramble and the Smoked salmon scramble have had me in a chokehold for years now. So much so I won't order anything else. The other menu items spark my interest. I just cannot come here and not order a scramble paired with a mimosa. Service 3.5/5 the restaurant has been short staffed. Causing long wait times, certain items not being in stock and unpleasant staff. I sat at the bar during my last visit her service was amazing! Ambiance 5/5 I absolutely love unique art work and color scheme.

Wow I haven't been here in years but so glad I came back! Decided to grab breakfast with my brunch buddy and knew I needed to order something sweet. I settled on the Bananas Foster French Toast with a side of bacon and she went savory with the West Coast Crepe. WOW WOW WOW. I love everything banana and this literally hit the flavor profile out of the park! The French toast was so delicious and the bananas and roasted pecans were so good. I ate every last bite and would definitely come back and eat it again. The restaurant is small so be prepared for a weekend wait. I only waited 10 mins or so this visit but it can be longer. Not the best place for big groups either.

We come here a lot since my fiancé works down the street and one thing never changes, just how good this place is! They have service and ordering down to a T. They are fast and friendly, the food is just amazing and the C-latte is to die for! Don't be fooled by a small on the outside looking cafe, this place gets packed! During the summer they open the windows and patio is in full service. I highly recommend coming here with friends for brunch!

I recently tried the beer cheese burger, which has some serious hype--it was voted one of the top 25 burgers in America by Men's Journal. I'll admit, it was a great burger. I even loved the aioli sauce. The beer cheese was rich and flavorful, the patty was juicy, and it definitely hit the spot. But... top 25? I don't know. To be fair, I haven't tried the official "top 25 burgers" to compare, but I've had a few that I think could give it a run for its money. My friend tried the macaroni burger, which looked absolutely indulgent--like something you order when you're ready to embrace a full-on food coma. Picture this: a burger patty sandwiched between two fried mac and cheese buns. It was basically a heart attack waiting to happen, but you've got to respect the creativity. We went during Christmas time, and the decorations were lovely--cozy, festive vibes all around. It made the meal feel a little extra special.

Came here while in Detroit. I follow them on social media and absolutely love the way the owner treats his employees and his videos. I had to check him out in person. It's a food truck so no service and they have tables outside if you want to eat there. I had the Strawberry Lemonade which was great, sweet and tart. Also tried the 3rd Street Detroit Cheesesteak. It was an untraditional cheesesteak but delicious. The bun was crunchy but not hard with Sesame seeds on top. Everything in the cheesesteak was flavorful and seasoned. It came with a dipping sauce but honestly it was not necessary. I had their famous Cilantro Garlic fries that had me smacking all the way home and came with a homemade roasted pepper ketchup that elevated this food truck meal. The entire meal was tasty and satisfying and will be back to try the rest of the items.

Wanted to update and add another review for Peepo's now that they've opened a location in Canton! This new location is fantastic since I'm in Ann Arbor. I had no problem going down to Taylor, don't get me wrong, but the ease of Canton is nice too! The same great menu and staff are at this new location and I couldn't be happier. The one thing I always is the Afrikano fries but made vegetarian with falafel! You can't go wrong. They're so crispy, fully loaded, spicy and their sauce makes it cooler. Perfection.Make sure you top into their new location or visit the OG location in Taylor. You won't be disappointed!

"After years away it's fun to revisit A2 institutions, especially Fleetwood Diner. The joys of Hippie Hash, coming here buzzed after the Blind Pig concerts, or popping in around 4:30am when the place is trashed and the employees are hanging out smoking. That was then, now there's a new(er) family owning it, and subtle changes to the menu point to Middle Eastern influences. As such, I sat down at the counter one morning during my visit and tried the gyro hippie hash and it was excellent. Eggs cooked a perfect over-medium, hashbrowns lurked under the chopped meat and minced broccoli, topped with feta cheese. Big yum! It's still tight and intimate inside. A family sat next to me at the counter, so that was fun. Everyone was friendly and watching the cooks work magic in tight quarters was interesting. Come for the experience, and enjoy the classic menu."
"I seriously can't get enough of this place! You cannot beat their games, brews, or food. The "Funky Pizza" is literally the best in town.Service is always top notch and phenomenal. You can come here for the day and enjoy pool, bumper pool, darts, golf games, and shuffle board."
"My friend and I drive 20-30mins just come here to get the cheese fries. We discovered this place pre-pandemic on a night after drinking. I will say the food hits different when you're a little drunk, but I've been here sober and it's still delicious. Don't come here if you aren't into a greasy little treat yourself type meal. It's a smaller place but we've always just eaten our meal in the car while we chat. This place will always be connected to good memories for me, and if I'm ever in the area I'll always try to make it in."
"Brightly lighted on the outside, the door was left open to get some air in since the grill is smoking. Started with the starter combo (hummus, baba ghanouj and tabouli), medium fatoosh salad less pita, 3 chicken kafta skewers, a medium fatoosh salad with chicken. They have a Nicole's special with veggies and feta, nice. They don't have the bread oven here, so just the bagged pita, we can't have it right now anyways, no temptation for us. The woman waiting on us is nice, warm and friendly. The other staff members are friendly too. They have a lot of bamboos around the windows. The starter combo looks good. It tastes pretty good, the hummus, baba ghanouj and tabouli. One customer came in without a mask to pick up his order, not a word to him at all about not having on a mask. Hmm. The fatoosh looks good as well. It's fresh and good, dressing is good as well. Some salad butts in your mix though, not a big fan. The chicken kafta is quite dry, tastes decent, could also use a bit more flavoring for me, as it was a tad bland bite for bite. The kebabs were a nice size. The chicken with the fattoush salad was quite good, the meat was juicy and nicely flavored too. The service is good here. The salads, starter combo were all good. The chicken kafta needed a bit more flavoring and less time on the grill."
"I wanted something different, so I tried the combo that included pierogis, kielbasa, and city chicken. The soup here is a bargain, costing just $.99 a cup when ordered with a meal. I got a cup of the dill pickle soup, having never tried this traditional Polish soup. The dill pickle soup was a pleasant surprise. The sour bite associated with dill pickles was tempered by the creaminess of the soup. The taste of dill wasn't overpowering, and the soup was warm, hearty, and comforting. I would order this again. I was less satisfied by the combo meal. The kielbasa was exceptional. I had ordered the smoked version grilled. The smoky flavor complemented the flavor of the sausage nicely. The potato pierogis were just ok. I had ordered them pan fried, but they tasted as if the frying hadn't happened recently and they were reheated via a microwave. I really didn't like the city chicken. The breading was gummy, and the meat had the taste and texture of a mystery. I would not order this again."
"This is a really nice, small, and fresh place. Nicely tucked off street, plenty of parking, and right on the corner. Service was on point and always with a smile, which is always a star in my book. I had the Hippie w/ sausage, Parmesan grits, and a toasted baguette. When I tell you this was the fastest and HOTTEST omelet I've ever had that's no joke. The grits were a really pleasant surprise and went perfect with the plate. The crispy, salty, cheesy part of them was not expected and good. Kudos to the chef. My wife had the latke breakfast, her only critique was the latke's could have used a little more seasoning. Overall the service, price, and look of the place is what we like of a breakfast place. Definitely recommended."
"What a great vibe , with great food n excellent service :) Loved the holiday decor as well ."
"I was in the mood for breakfast (as I often am), and I drove right by Paul's: "spirits" and "breakfast" don't normally occur in the same sentence. But, this is an excellent breakfast spot. There are various drinks available, including breakfast staples, but there are also a lot of excellent options for lunch and dinner. Still, I had a moment of panic as we sat down when we were given lunch/dinner menus. Fortunately, breakfast is available all day.One thing that immediately got my attention was the complimentary bread basket, which had fresh, thick white bread, butter, and a variety of crackers. It's like dining out used to be way back in 2019. The food arrived quickly. I got the Country Skillet, which had sausage, green peppers, onion, and sausage gravy served on top of hash browns. The sausage, peppers, onion, and 3 over easy eggs were flawless. And, there was a massive amount of it. I ordered it with rye bread, which I like using to make a sort of breakfast sandwich. Delicious. What was less great was that serving all that goodness on top of the hash browns made them soggy. My wife got a cheese omelette with hashbrowns on the side, and they weren't soggy. But, they weren't crispy the way I like them, either. The hashbrowns were the only thing that wasn't great about both of our meals.I'm very glad we got a side of pancakes, although we had so much food, we could barely eat any of them. They taste like they are made with buckwheat, and they are the best pancakes, this side of Original Pancake House. There are quite a few excellent things on the menu for lunch and dinner, too. And, as we found out, they serve breakfast all day. This means that any time of day seems like a great time to visit Paul's."
"I'm sure I have reviewed them before but this a during COVID review lol! There is only one thing that I can say about this restaurant and that is "It is always on point!" This is one of my favorite places to grab food from even through all of this COVID mess. The food is good and the service is always served with a smile and quick. This time I got a take out order because their dine in service was closed due to COVID(lack of staff). If you have never been here you can miss it because it's tucked back in a small strip center but it sits right on Inkster road off Cherry Hill. I normally get the mixed Shawrma entree with rice and a salad with extra garlic spread..oh and extra sauce for my chicken yummy!! I also got my husband the grilled chicken entree with rice also and added pink sauce(I'm sure there is an actually name for it). Be prepared for the large portions, I mean it's enough to share with another person or have it for a two day meal. Beware of my pictures because it was smelling so good I forgot to snap pictures before we started eating but you will get the point lol!"
"Fabulous food! Our server Julie was so nice and helpful. The ambiance is elegant. Yet the food was very reasonably priced. Recommend it highly."
"I don't know what else to say other than this place is amazing! I love the hoagies with extra peppers! The only problem is I can never hide my trips from my wife unless I can get home before her, throw my clothes in the laundry, and take a shower. The smell lingers!"
"The pretzel bites were amazing, as always with beer cheese and honey mustard. Our favorite drink was the George then Ringo. The cob salad was the bomb.com the burnt ends or steak tips whatever they called them were tender but not really a fan- it was more like brisket cubed up- they weren't bad but not something we want from there again. They did some amazing things to the exterior of the place - looks so damn cute! However the parking lot and grass was full with over like 50-60 cars and threw us off because it's a small resteraunt. I'm glad we decided to walk in anyways because we got sat right away- I wonder if they use the grounds for ride share."
"My parents and I got takeout from here. I definitely was excited as their tastes are similar to mine and they are more gung ho on sharing items than the hubs. Sadly the hubs was not also available for this because this place is right up his alley with selections like The Big Three which is a sandwich with three pork products. We decided on three classic sandwiches for our group. The baked ham, the corned beef deluxe and the classic reuben. We also got a large bean and ham soup because we all are fans of bean soup. The soup.is.a.must. This is fantastic. Thick, rich and chock full of chunks of meat. It is easily a meal in itself. No matter what you get here get some soup to go at the very least. It's even better reheated. Yum.We preferred the gently crunchy nicely melty reuben to the deluxe corned beef but both were very good. We just liked the way all the flavors melded together on the reuben. Basically we liked the extra oomph that comes from melty cheese I think. The kraut was a hit though too.The ham was fantastic. It was our third fave of the bunch but still quite good. The ham itself is delicious as was the swiss. We are just more corned beef lovers who prefer more junk on a sammie. You cannot go wrong, it's just a matter of your personal preferences. The meats here were all quality, juicy and tender. To go was packed nicely and everything arrived fresh and happy. A fifteen minute trip and the soup was still very warm and fully ensconced in the container, no spills or drips. Kudos on that. We will be back for more takeout"
"One of the places I'll really miss from Michigan. I always loved their fried chicken, and my partner loved their tacos. Always so friendly and the food was delicious."
"What more can I say but AMAZING! Some of the best brunch in metro Detroit. Pictured is just from my last visit, I've been a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal and they have the most amazing fresh squeezed orange juice. Depending on how demanding business is on the day, service can get really slow but everyone is so kind it makes up for it. No reservations so expect that if you're going on a Saturday or Sunday at breakfast or brunch time, you'll have to wait a little. Give it a try guys"
"This was our first time to this Italian market and deli, as we're not eastsiders. We had planned to spend the day in the Grosse Pointe area and had read great reviews about Licavoli's pizza. We stopped in and ordered the Marghe "Rita" pizza and asked for extra basil. Well, we were not disappointed! In fact, the pizza (which was up in about 15 minutes) far exceeded our expectations. It's a NY/East Coast-style thin crust (a definite homage to Neapolitan pizza), done in a stone-fired oven. And it's done perfectly, with a wonderfully tangy sauce and plenty of mozzarella. But the crust may be the real star here - the consistency and flavor are superb. I was in heaven while partaking of my first slice and may have reached nirvana on the second slice. The sauce, the thin tomato slices, and extra basil worked in concert to create a beautiful symphony. We really enjoyed our visit; the staff was friendly and we ate at one of the tables. I do wish there was a little more in terms of Italian grocery items on shelves and it would be nice if they had a deli counter with meats. They do have prepared deli items that look good. We will be back. I highly recommend Licavoli's pizza!"
"If you're looking for the best place to eat in Port Huron, look no further! Casey's is the staple restaurant for this area. Great atmosphere, great service, and the food is ALWAYS consistently incredible.Sandwiches, pizza, burgers, specialty items, and incredible bread sticks! Whatever you want, this is the safest bet!"
"Great service great beer selection. The pizza was delicious has a little garlic butter on the crustKitchen is open late, which is awesome!"
"I am in love with La Fresh. We recently moved to Northville, and I am so grateful to have found this nearby Mediterranean gem. They have the best hummus and hot bread that I have ever had. Please do not take that lightly - I am well versed in hummus and bread. Whenever we have company, we treat our guests to this. My other absolute favorite things is their fattoush salad and dressing. It is particularly fresh - it stays fresh for leftover lunches for days! That really says something! We typically get their lamb shawarma and chicken shawarma sandwiches. They are huge. Another thing I will mention is their lunch specials (served all day). They are a neatly packaged offering where you pick your sides. It is pretty close to perfect. It is also enough for two. You can tell the food is high quality and it is packaged with care. It is a little pricey in comparison to other restaurants with similar cuisine, but it is worth every penny. One last thing... I recently had their cheese pizza (baked in their wood bread oven) and it was remarkably tasty. I actually piled fattoush salad on it and used it as a vessel to get it into my mouth. De-lish. Tip - order extra bread, don't think twice about it, and save any extra in the paper bag, in a ziplock bag, and hide it from your family. You're welcome."
"I met my son for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised at this place. Good food, courteous service will definitely return!"
"Stopped in for a quick lunch break was very impressed with the upgrades they made to this place and the menus a great so many choice! I tried the DDDBurger very good and you have your choice of fries or tater tots I did the tots very good and the friendly bartender Haley suggested the new Oberon Elipse beer OMG it was good have to get some for myself later, So great atmosphere, great food selection full bar nice whiskey selection too...what else can you ask for...come here try it!"
"Love this place! Absolutely the best latte around us. Very friendly barista. Cool design inside as well"
"Oh my goodness!! I was in Bloomfield for my dogs appointment and was very hungry so I stopped here and got a "small" sandwich which was BIG! I got the ham and cheese and was pleasantly surprised to see so much ham in it. SUPER delicious-would definitely go there again."
