"Uptown Grille has been a place I frequent often when home the atmosphere and the food are always A1 this trip was no different, went during a busy Saturday night (lions where playing) unable to get a seat at the bar however they had the patio open. All of the food came out hot and fresh and delicious! They never disappoint with the portion sizes of everything they note shareable items but truthfully everything is shareable as the portion sizes are huge and you definitely getting what you pay for. Not pictures is the truffle Mac and tenderloins which was so good! And huge had to take most of it home with us. The service was great our waiter Chris continued to come back and check on us and let us know the bar was busy and so our drinks would be slow that was truly appreciated. As for the atmosphere it is a great place to watch the game, get some music(live, dj or simply pandora) we were lucky we got live music and a DJ in one night. It is definitely loud on big game days but a nice chill place to go and watch the game or simply get someGreat food and some good drinks."

Burgers are the epitome of comfort food, combining juicy patties, melty cheese, and an array of delicious toppings. This is why I love the Grizzle! Solid unpretentious food in a pub setting. Great draft beer. Nice college town atmosphere. I'm not complaining but the only puzzle is....what are cheese curds doing on the menu? Are we in Michigan or Wisconsin? No idea why they are here, but they're delicious!"

They have picnic style bench seating so it was not a problem finding a place to sit.You order your food at the bar and they bring it to you. They have a nice selection of house beers plus pizza and sandwiches. Gluten free items are available as well as a kids menu.Food was good and service was outstanding. If in the area,a good place to grab a bite or a quick pint. They also have locations in 4 other Michigan towns."

"Blue tractor bbq and brewery located in Ann Arbor hit the spot! We had a relatively Short wait being game day and ruminated on our options and went with a dinner platter to Maximize our food savory options. it was gold, the bbq ribs and pulled pork were flavorful, tender, and mouth watering. our sides were just as good and if you like mac and cheese the cling was great and texture was perfect. the cornbread was just right, that is if you like a more moist bread that doesn't crumble when you put your fork into it. we finished the evening with a birthday special getting a highly recommended ice cream bowl with chocolate chip cookie buried underneath. the icing on the top was having an electric atmosphere at the big house and celebrating another michgan win! go blue! next time you're in Ann Arbor you have to check out Blue tractor bbq and brewery! "Stopped in on a Tuesday for a quick lunch and everything was absolutely great! The surf abs turf was delicious I didn't even have a chance to take a picture.Our bartender Murph was awesome. "My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. It was not busy. I had a Black & Tan (not well poured, ) and the potato leek soup. I love the soda bread that comes with the soup. They do the soup their own way, which I appreciate. And, for a bowl of soup for $5 (in 2023) it is one of my gems in Ann Arbor. Yummy. My kids love the Big House Burger when we come.Traditional Irish Pub which has been around enough to be getting an authentic pub feel. The tables are getting beat up, but feel solid. There are various tables for different size parties, and lots of standing room with ledges to set down a beer. It is a bit dark on the inside (as it should be), but they have added patio seating to enjoy the sun with the black and tan. Conor O'Neils is one of our Go-To s in Ann Arbor. We can generally get a table. Food is always good. Service is always good. And, they usually know how to pour a black & tan."

"This cozy dive bar is a hidden gem with an excellent food selection to match! I stopped in during the day and was impressed by the friendly service. I tried a mimosa and an adult Capri Sun, both of which were fun and tasty. The truffle fries were absolutely delicious, and the birria was spot on--full of flavor and perfectly executed. "The husband wanted to celebrate closing on our house and we wanted to try a new to us place. I hopped onto trusty ol' yelp and found The world's end. The availability of a gluten free bun had me sold. We arrive and down right away. It's a seat yourself sort of establishment. The bartender had her hands full, but was on top of it. You would have thought she had cloned herself with how efficient she was serving drinks at the bar, taking orders at various tables, delivering said orders. It was quite impressive to say the least. And the cherry on the top of the cake, she was super friendly and nice. The ambiance was very much locals hang out and comfortable. They appeared to even have a karaoke area."

"Barr's Public House was very warm and inviting. The service was excellent, we sat in the bar area and about half way through our meal a new server came an introduced themselves. Drinks were excellent as well. The food was good but had some areas of needed improvement. I had the ahi-tuna tacos. The tuna was amazing, cooked perfectly and flavored well. The greens and sauce were fresh as well. The only negative was the whole wheat pita took over the dish and over powered everything. My husband had the black and blue steak sandwich. The new york strip was served whole including the fat strip on the one side. Small changes would make a big difference! Would visit again."

"I'm embarrassed to admit that this is my first time here. This place is like a monument for U of M students. One of my grad school friends owned this place, and still I never visited! I arrived here on a cool weekday around 5 pm. We were the only patrons in the dining area and were only there for drinks. Merlot and pineapple juice were great. The main draw was the location, which is in the center of South University, great for people watching. There is a lot of pleasant seating outdoors as well, with potted flowers and heaters . I will return to try the bar food, and enjoy the outdoor view."

"Stopped in here on a Friday evening around 7pm and was quite surprised that the crowd was so light but I assume they get more of a crowd on game days. The inside is a nice set-up with a few tables and you can even play games like jumbo Jenga. If I had one complaint it would be that they can do with adding some more liquor brands such as Jack Daniels Honey and more than one Anejo Tequila brand that cost $20 a shot.I ordered their philly cheesesteak sandwich which was really good with truffle fries..I wish they were regular sized and not steak fries but they were still good. My husband had a turkey burger and it was very good.He had beer and I tried Brown Sugar Bourbon which was good. The service was great and staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Well first time there. Our waitress was great but the food was kind of missing taste. Each of the 4 of us had something different but we all said lack of flavor. However the fried chicken sandwich was barely chicken, mostly fried. I got garlic parm wings and they pretty much tasted like the lemon pepper dry rub appetizer wings, again not much of a taste but with ranch dressing they were great. French onion soup? Boring. Spinach artichoke dip was good. Pricey drinks. We said we would go back and try pizza maybe as it looked good. Judge for yourself"

"We attended a Yelp! Event at the amazing downtown Elephant & Co. This was one of my favorite events of the past year.We arrived early and got to check out the super unique space. When we got in we were given wrist bands to self-pour beer from the Disneyesque automated taps. We found a very nice table in the back and enjoyed the cool elephant themed decor.After finding our seats, we grabbed a couple of slices of the deep dish cheese bread with marinara and ranch. We headed to the bar in the back and the bartender poured us a refreshing vodka gimlet. Through the night we tried an Elote (Mexican street corn) pizza, which was good, but very rich. We had an amazing slice of goat cheese, hot honey, fig and carmelized onion pizza; this is a must try. Also, we had the Honolulu blue, which had ham, bacon, pineapple, onion and barbecue sauce. This was another amazing slice of pizza.For beers, we tried some interesting selections. We tried a raspberry sour, that was pretty nice and refreshing. We had a flannel stout that tasted like s'mores. A butterfly beer that tasted like pea flower, not my favorite, but still interesting. Our favorite beer of the night was the Ferndale Project Powdered sugar apple Paczki lager. It smelled just like apple filling and was super light and refreshing. We really enjoyed our night at Elephant & Co. we will definitely be bringing friends back soon."

It's a nice place to just hang out and grab some good food.I got the twin tenderloins. Mashed potatoes were definitely made from scratch and the gravy too. It comes out saucy, so if you're a saucy person tell them to go light on it. My wife got the seafood and chicken combo. Chicken was moist she said and the salmon was really good with the balsamic glaze. We split a small pizza for appetizer. It was pretty good also. All in all I was pretty impressed. And not too pricey."

"Mom and I live around the corner from this local gem. After driving by it almost on a daily basis for well over a year we decided to stop in. I took a break from work and went in at 1:30pm on a Monday. Surprisingly there were quite a few people at the bar at this time. Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. I was very happy to hear they served Sauvignon Blanc and ordered a glass; mom opted for a bottle of domestic beer. I ordered steak tacos and charred wings. The wings are on special on Mondays, 10 at 50 cents each. Mom ordered a burrito. After we ordered I decided to check out the lotto machines...weee, Monday mid-day gambling and drinking, shhhh don't tell my boss. You can play Keno, pull-tabs and paper lotto. I bought $10.00 in pull-tabs, winning $6.00 back and bought $20.00 worth Powerball, Classic 47 and Fantasy 5. Hopefully you will see me next on My Lottery Dream Home. The burrito and tacos arrived first. I loved my steak taco's, they were very tasty. The flour taco was especially delicious, not tasting like a store-bought flour taco. They had pickled carrots, garlic and onion on the side...very spicy and delicious. Thank goodness I saved room for the charred wings as they were off the charts delicious! They were tiny little wings but oh my they were good. We will return and try a few different items on the menu. If you have never been here, I encourage you to go and do not leave without ordering charred wings, you will not regret it."

"This is a hidden gem in the Hamburg area, just off the beaten path. Serving tasty inexpensive food and strong drinks! I've lived in the area for years now and sometimes forget how much I enjoy the pub. The staff is always very friendly and attentive to your needs. They pour drinks like drinks should be poured and they don't charge a lot for them. Each week is filled with different food specials and drink specials, so ask the server or bartender what the specials are. If you like cheeseburgers I highly recommend the sliders, they're inexpensive and really hit the spot. A couple sliders and an order of onion rings or waffle fries really hit the spot, especially when they're washed down with a cold brew or stiff drink! Get to the pub and enjoy."

We are a bit of an odd bunch, but friends nonetheless.Anna was always our favorite server, but last summer took her to a different state to live and things changed.We experienced different servers and it was never the same. Sure, Robert was still whipping up some delicious meals in the kitchen, but without the great service from a warm and thoughtful server like Anna, at times it just didn't feel like 'home'.Tonight, my group was waited on by Kayla. She was attentive and took our requests with much patience. "We really liked the Polish Platters. We tried all the sides: dill pickle soup, onion soup, coleslaw, and salad. I really liked the soups. The coleslaw was good and standard. The salad was ok but nothing too special and I don't think worth the price or status of being a side. The soups were just so much better and more interesting!We got pick up and it was smooth and easy. A note that there was an extra charge for doing pick up which I hadn't seen before at other restaurants. Overall great and would be happy to get the Polish Platters again sometime!"
