"Thai O Shea I love you. You make my favorite Thai dishes and never disappoint. I can count on great service whether I'm dining in or carrying out. Your staff go over and above to make everyone feel like friends and family. It's the little gestures that add up when you own a small business and I appreciate you and your staff working so hard to make everyone feel special. My favorite dish is the pad Thai extra spicy with chicken. I've had several other recipes and versions over the years but they do it the best. The prices are good and the portions are large which is another plus because I love the leftovers the next day. It's a small place but very clean and authentic. Lots of parking spots and easy in and out. Give this hidden gem a try and I promise they'll warm your insides with all the goodies on the menu."
"Very good Chinese food. Prices were a little off what the menu states but I am okay with that. Take the prices in menu with grain of salt but not like it is $3 or more higher. Family of 5. Ordered the Sesame Chicken Combo, Almond Chicken Combo, 2 Chicken Fried Rice Quarts, & 1 Shrimp Fried Rice quarts. The Almond Chicken & Chicken Fried Rice were great. The Sesame Chicken was a little too much sauce & not great chicken quantity. The Shrimp Fried Rice had maybe 6 of the smallest shrimp in the whole box.Overall it was very good but not updating prices on your menu makes it challenging to order knowing what you're buying is worth it."
Stuffed with cabbage, carrots & clear noodles. Served with plum sauce.

"Wow, it's been a long time since I had my one and only experience here, and after seeing an ad for them, I was reminded of my previous good experience. It was SO GOOD!! I have pics of everything we got, but we got a good variety. Everything was such a good version of itself. The miso soup was fresh tasting and had a variety of flavors to it with the seaweed and green onions. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy, and the pineapple and carrots had awesome flavor to them. The fried rice has a tasty bbq flavor to them, where you can tell it was fried on a hibachi. Not much chicken in it, but this wasn't bothersome to us. My 4 year old ate the fried rice for the first time and said it's her favorite rice! The sizzling green beans were SO crunchy and had such a perfect, tasty sauce. Chicken was quality and sliced thin. The sushi knocked it out of the park for all the rolls. We can't wait to go back! It's not the closest but it's our official default."
"I'm from the Detroit area and we used to have some good Chinese Restaurants there. I'm always finicky about Chinese. I tried one place in the area and hated it so I went in to Honto with no expectations. My first disappointment is that they were out of noodles for the Pad Thai. I'm not sure how that happens, but it did. My only other disappointment was the fried rice. It had little flavor to it. It tasted like white rice with a little bit of soy sauce. I'm referring to the rice that came with my meal. If I ordered the meal, maybe it better.I got the almond boneless chicken with hot and sour soup. I freaking love their hot and sour soup. You get a nice sized cup with your meal and it is so good. They also give you the fried wonton slices to put in it. The almond chicken was good. I prefer less gravy, but it wasn't so much that it ruined the meal. It was two breasts deep fried to perfection. In addition to my meal we got some fried dumplings. They were different than others I've had, but very tasty! When I go back I'll probably just order those and soup!"
"New owners. Overall pretty good. Ordered chicken pad Thai and sesame chicken. Pad Thai was really yellow and not sure why. Flavor was good but was a little more spicy than expected for mild. Noodles slightly over cooked. Sesame chicken was good. Good amount of sauce and liked the addition of the pineapple. Smaller pieces of chicken with a little too much breading. Food was hot when picked up and person at register was friendly. Would order from here again."
"Nothing has changed since my previous review. Best China is still the best Chinese food you'll likely ever have in Michigan (or elsewhere, for that matter). Service is always phenomenal, and I deeply appreciate that the staff gives outstanding suggestions of new dishes for us to try. Tonight we had my all-time favorite here--green beans and potatoes. It's simple, yet SOOOOOO incredibly delicious. Salty with a hint of sweetness, and each potato is perfectly cooked and evenly coated in the deliciousness. I refer to this dish as Chinese crack because, for me, it's addictive. I crave this dish! We also ordered shredded pork with celery and dry tofu, which is served in a light broth-flavored sauce. I wasn't sure about this until I tasted it because I'm not a tofu fan, but this didn't taste like tofu. It's excellent with rice because the rice soaks up the scrumptious sauce. My husband wanted to order beef with cumin, which is his favorite here, but that will have to wait until next time, if we don't order something else we've never tried before. You just can't go wrong! If you're in a hurry, order carry out. Just make sure you check this place out!"
"This place, this place, this place!! Incredible Pho. The broth is super flavorful, the portion sizes are great, ask for extra meat if you want that. My family of 4 came to dine here and the service was incredible as was the food. So much so that I came back the very next day! The best Pho in the city HANDS DOWN!"
"Service was quick for pick up! Incredibly friendly and might I say absolutely delicious! Especially great for a cold autumn or winter night or maybe when feeling a bit ill...will be back for sure! Best ramen within 30 miles of Brighton!"
"First time trying out this place, definitely won't be our last.. Food is sooo good, uhh the wings were super flavorful and juicy !, Place is very clean, and the staff is very friendly !Oh and The money bag appetizer is a must try, don't miss out on it!"
"Food is excellent and place is super clean. Love the original restaurant and this doesn't disappoint. The portions are big and very fairly priced. Had the grilled pork chop and got two huge pieces! Also had the summer rolls which were super fresh and tasty. Service came with a smile and was ready when they said it would be! Definitely will be back!"
"Food, service, ambiance = meh.We walked in and there was a sign that says a server will see you shortly and instruct you on how to order. Somebody came up to us and just said sit wherever you want. So we sat there a good 10 minutes and nothing happened so I went up to the hostess, who wasn't at the front when we arrived and asked her for some menus. Took the menus back to the table and sat there for another 10 minutes before I went back up to the hostess and asked if anybody was going to give us table service. She said I needed to ask that when I arrived. Seriously? We ordered the spicy Tori ramen in the Tori udon. Both which came to the table and presentation was extraordinary. However, the taste did not live up to the presentation. Broth was bland, spice was nil, and I was just craving more flavor and each dish. I guess I was just used to urban ramen where their broth was so rich and delicious. Has a cafeteria like feel to it. It was fine. Will I go back? Not sure. Might go back to try the happy hour specials, but undecided as of now."
"THE best Thai in the area. My favorites are the spicy chicken, curry noodles, and the angry catfish. The Pad Thai, of course, is perfect. I eat here all the time and it's never been less than perfect. And the servers are super sweet and nice. Two meals, sprung rolls and an app won't break the bank. "

Very friendly staff. Food was made very quickly, and tasted amazing. The place could use some music or a few more plants. Tables were very clean. I would highly recommend and will definitely eat there again.

This has been our go to place for Chinese food for at least 20 years. Best egg rolls and almond boneless chicken in the area for sure. Take out only still at this time, but that's okay with me. I'm about to place an order and I'm sure it'll be ready in 20 minutes.

I decided to try Tai Fai after seeing a few tik tok videos. It's located in a small strip mall and easy to overlook. I went on Saturday night and it was crowded. I'm glad I placed my order ahead of time because the orders were coming in fast. I ordered the crab meat wontons & spring rolls as my appetizer. Both were crunchy and full of flavor. I didn't care for the sauce that came with them but they really didn't need a sauce. The rolls are served in a beautiful box that makes you think of an upscale restaurant. I ordered the crunch roll and a red dragon roll. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything tasted. I will be back and have already told my friends to give them a try.

The food was amazing! They give you so much food for the price and it is hot and delicious when you pick it up. Carry out only. Service was quick and the woman working was so kind and on top of it. If you're looking for good Chinese food this is a must try! It's our families go to place.

Been several times and always order the salt and pepper squid. I have eaten calamari at numerous restaurants and Best China ranks near the top. It is really authentic with menus printed in Chinese. My table mates enjoyed their various shrimp and lobster dinners.

With quite a few South East Asian choices in the area, Que Hmong hits the mark.Fresh, abundant and authentic Pho and Rice/Vermicelli plates.Busy, smallish seating area that is very affordable.Try the others then come over to the real deal.

A friend raved about this place and I'm not sure why. My husband had the Korean BBQ Beef Ramen. The broth had a good flavor but the pork belly was rubbery. I had the Sesame and Wild Mushroom Rice Bowl. This dish was flavorless. A bunch of unseasoned jasmine rice with mushrooms and bamboo shoots. There were no bean sprouts like there was supposed to be and very little bok choy. Dish was also supposed to have truffle oil, but not sure it was on there because I never tasted any.So disappointing. It would take a lot to get me back there.

"I went here with my family on a Saturday: it was dinner all day for around $24/person (there's also a 10% senior discount). The restaurant is clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive, checking in regularly and taking away plates. Some premium items that were good quality: ginger green onion blue crab, steamed whole fish with soy sauce (labeled as flounder but doesn't look like it - however, was rich and flaky like flounder/sea bass), Chinese pepper salt shrimp, and snow crab legs. All were good quality and didn't taste old or fishy (blue crab meat not very firm so it was frozen, but still tasted delicious). My dad said the snow crab didn't have much flavor, so they were boiled for too long - Other good items: chicken skewers (used thigh meat and had good flavor), chicken & broccoli, steamed garlic shrimp and vermicelli noodles, honey chicken (honey sauce tasted good on the chicken pieces), spring roll (not too greasy, was crispy), tiramisu cake (good coffee flavor, not too sweet)- Mediocre: lo mein (it was really doughy), pepper steak (pretty one dimensional flavor), dumplings (wish they were pan fried instead of deep fried - they were greasy and tasted prepackaged), green beans (kind of greasy), general tso chicken (run of the mill - I've had better)- Not so good: deep fried artificial crab (thought it would be scallops because it was in that shape, but it wasn't...didn't eat the breading), wonton dumpling (had a tiny amount of beef inside that didn't taste great), strawberry cake (cream tasted almost like chemicals - very artificial. Cake was dry and rough), noodle bar (my mom said the soup didn't have flavor). If they didn't have the premium items when I went (which they probably don't have most of them during weekday lunches, I would guess), I would not be giving this 4 stars. So I would recommend doing the dinner option for buffet if you like seafood: with those premium seafood items, you can definitely get your money's worth! I heard the dim sum there is also good, so I'll have to go back and try it (separate option apart from the buffet). All in all, it was a good meal and good value!"
"I love this place. I discovered this place years ago.My go-to dish here is the Chicken Pad Thai. It's always delicious. Also, decent sized portions and it's reasonably priced. A great place to come for lunch service is pretty quick."
"Exceptional Sushi. Services is polite, genuine, and prompt. Warm Asian atmosphere. Their hand made sushi rolls and Udon noodle bowls are extraordinary."
"Amazing flavorful food! I have been there 4 times now, always delicious! Pad pork, pad Thai, spring rolls and the soup. Mmmm mmm good!"
"Empress Gardens, oh how I love you!! This place is fantastic! Specializing in Cantonese/Szechuan cuisine, they have been around for over 50 years! My family has enjoyed this restaurant for over 40 years and it never disappoints. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it's all delicious. They cook all the proteins to perfection: pork, beef, shrimp, chicken, etc...I love the Singapore Noodles, which has shrimp and chicken in angel hair pasta and curry. Beef with Pea Pods in another favorite dish. The beef is very tender and the sauce is delicious. Their fried rice dishes are a delight. I like the Yong Chow fried rice because it has chicken, ham and shrimp in it. I always get an egg roll--crispy of the outside and yummy on the inside.Vegetarian options too. They also offer dinner and lunch specials. Very friendly service. They have a dining room but it's currently closed due to Covid. Carry out only. I'm so glad they have remained open, continuing to provide excellent service and food during the pandemic. Easy pick up window and customers are requested to wear masks. All of the employees wear masks.Located in the Harvard Row strip mall with plenty of parking."
"Finally! A place closer to home that does baked avocado. Delish!!!! Their dragon roll, Philadelphia & Cali are good today. If you order through Door Dash, it's really well packaged including cups of soy sauce instead of packets & whipped wasabi."
"Eh, a lil' doughy with each bite in the inside and crispy on the outside. Not thoroughly cooked? About a 10 minute call in wait, $6 bucks, and a random road snack."
"Great local spot for Thai Food! Recently under new ownership and I like it better than the last Thai place that previously occupied this space. The staff have always been very friendly and from what I can see, it looks very clean! I've ordered online, and have had great experiences each time. The Drunken Noodle was very good and flavorful and all of the veggies were crisp. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of sauce. I ordered it hot and it was spicy, but not overkill. A lot of places seem to hold back with the spice, but I feel that this was appropriate for a hot order. They'll do "very hot" but I've also heard that you can get it "Thai Hot".My wife had the Orange Chicken and it wasn't the run of the mill pulverized chicken that a lot of Chinese restaurants use. The chicken was nice and meaty white meat, perfectly fried and crispy. Again, I thought they had the right amount of sauce but my wife thought it was just a bit too little. The portion sizes are generous and you'll probably have enough for a second meal. All meals also come with a spring roll and a drink, so this represents a really good value! It's nice to local spot that offers great Thai carry out!"
"Tried for the first time this weekend, after driving past it for years. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! We're definitely going back. Also portions were really generous and prices were great."
"Not sure why ppl rated this place low. If they know real authentic Vietnamese they'd realize this is how it taste. The food is not doctored up like these other fake places. The food I ordered was very flavorful and I will definitely return... I ordered the fried rice and veggie tofu, my daughter had the rare steak, I also ordered the soup and rice wrap. Even the sauce for the wrap was delicious!Reviews are good and all, but somethings you need to come try for yourself."
"Best sushi prices in Ann Arbor, hands-down it's all fresh phenomenal sushi. The Ramen is really good too Great atmosphere and you can always find a spot to sit. I can't vouch for the Korean barbecue because I haven't had it yet but everything off the menu has been sensational.Service is great the ladies are always so sweet to you when you go!"
"This is my personal opinion based on MY experience. The presentation 10/10. The fried chicken boa bun was the best. Very flavorful. The bang bang shrimp boa, lacked flavor. It was my least favorite. The Korean BBQ boa bun had potential but, the meat was very dry. However, the flavor was there! I wasn't a fan of the spring rolls. They were too soft/mushy for me. Lastly, I ordered the Birria ramen. Again, not a lot of seasoning and therefore it lacked flavor. I wasn't asked about the spice level when I ordered. The restaurant is clean and small. Bar seating only. They also have a few tables outside. I really wanted to love this place but it fell short for me."
"A hidden gem in Royal Oak! This cozy yet vibrant spot offers delicious, beautifully presented dishes and warm, friendly service. While the kitchen could be quicker with larger groups, the overall experience is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!"
"I tried the hot and sour beef noodles. I ordered carry out so my experience is probably not the same as eating inside the restaurant. The sides came inside the broth already. I really like the rice noodle. The broth is also flavorful (although pretty spicy). It would me even more amazing if the noodles came with greens like chinese broccoli, napa, or bokchoy.Ordered using their online menu which was very simple and easy to use."
"Our go to ramen and tempura restaurant in west Bloomfield. Usually order the soy sauce base but end up with miso ramen with the sliced pork. We prefer the first choice because of the salty flavor we prefer for the broth. Favorite when it comes to bento box is the one with salmon teriyaki and then a side of sashimi. Great flavor. The booth table is always full during dinner time. The servers are very welcoming and makes sure to double check the order.Food is very reasonable. Our order was good enough for two plus something to bring home. Location wise - lots of free parking and close to the big round about in orchard lake. Highly recommend the house salad."
"Craving something new to try for lunch, my husband and I decided to check out this new addition. Located in the former home of Lai Lai, Bangkok Chinatown Cuisine offers delicious Thai food in an elegant and relaxed setting. We arrived shortly before noon on a recent weekday and were promptly greeted by the friendly and courteous new owner. She showed us to our table and made some recommendations for food. I love a good Pad Thai, but decided to switch it up with the curry version. I got the mild, and it still had some kick, and the flavors overall were amazing. My husband got the green curry and thought the mild was likewise spicy, but delicious. Portions were generous enough that I was able to take the remainder to work for lunch the next day and look forward to another delicious meal."
"One of my favorite local places, noodles made fresh, great flavors from the food and great service. They have the robots to deliver food which is kinda fun for me. On the outside it looks like it won't be that great but it is great place, clean inside and friendly staff. For sure with the stop if you like Asian noodle bowls and their steamed dumplings are always amazing!"
"new chef / new owner! toronto chef brought in and we had some new dim sum. delicious! chow mein noodles weredelicious as always. such great service and always a nice quant time. love the quiet ambiance of this restaurant. for some authentic chinese food - go here!! ten/ten!ps - the flakiest butteriest egg tart ever!"
"Had a taste for Thai and didn't want to drive far in the ice so gave this place another try. The chicken pad see ew was much better, broccoli was soft and the noodles weren't all stuck together. Spring rolls were also good, even liked the new dipping sauce. So glad we gave them another try, pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back. They are changing their name in a few months so hope that doesn't change the food!"
"I came here for lunch on a Saturday, and to my surprise, it wasn't very busy. This was my first time dining here, and I have to say, the food was delicious! I ordered the lo mein, and the noodles had an incredible texture--perfectly chewy and flavorful. I also got the scallion pancakes, which were impressively thin and packed with great flavor.Service was fast and efficient, making for an easy and enjoyable meal. Overall, great food and a smooth dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back!"
"Still my favorite noodle spot! A good variety to choose from. Veggies and toppings are cold but the dishes are always packed with flavor."
"I thought the food here was good!! The Chicken Paid Thai was pretty good, I felt like it needed just a bit more flavor, but overall a pretty good meal. The online ordering was simple, and was easy to pick up. Looks like a cute place for dine in as well, I was just there for some carryout. Will be back!"
"We had an excellent experience in this restaurant. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and absolutely delicious food! I had the salmon bowl, 1/2 of the sweet egg roll, and inari (fried tofu stuffed with rice). I was blown away by how delicious the food was. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!"
