"Our entire experience at Casablanca was just lovely. The server and other staff were warm, attentive, and very sweet to our toddler. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious ! I haven't lived in southeast MI for over a decade and constantly miss quality middle eastern food (particularly a shish tawook sandwich). Casablanca's shish tawook was perfection, I did a little happy dance with that first bite! We also tried their hummus, homemade bread, fattoush salad, lamb tagine, Moroccan coffee (my husband said it was one of the best things he's ever tasted), and several sweets. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

The beef pies were super flaky and buttery and the meat inside had the perfect level of spice though I wish I would have ordered something cool to dip it in. The butter chicken they give you plenty of tender chicken pieces warm spices and the rice is nice and chewy. The portions are outrageous. Lol - I ate on it for 3 days. Of course, nothing beats my mom's Persian food, but this is a very close second.I order from this restaurant at least once a week. The portion sizes are really good and come with a delicious soup for the entrées. I highly recommend the lentil soup.I always order the Joojeh Kabob (grilled chicken) and Khoobideh. Gholmeh sabzi is amazing there too. Don't forget to order a Mast-O-Moosie. It's a garlic yogurt dish that goes really good paired with the meals. Mujadra was very good. The deboned chicken with garlic and lemon sauce was heavenly. Not so good? The greek salad was very meh. Dressing wan't very greek dressing like. Really bad? The pitas. Supposedly freshly baked but our bag of 12 were all burnt pucks. Would have made a good sub if a hockey game broke out. Overall we are figuring out what we like and will def be back. There is enough food for me for at least three meals as well as a fresh salad loaded with fresh vegetables. He also provided me with a cup of fresh tea while waiting for my food. I'm definitely glad I did.My office is about a 5 minute drive from this place; by the time I got there, my food was already done. In some places, I'd be concerned that the food is pre-made, but that's not the case here: the chicken shawarma was obviously just made to fill my order. Fantastic.And, that chicken shawarma does stand up to some pretty impressive competition: this is Dearborn, after all, which has some of the best Mediterranean food in the world. This wrap had a good ratio of pita to high quality chicken and pickle. I would definitely order it again.But, it actually gets better than that. The chicken shawarma with a side and a drink costs only $8.99. I chose baba ganoush, which has a fantastic smoky quality that I expect from a good baba ganoush. And, the portion is very generous (about a cup). The baba ganoush was so good that I ate the whole thing, even though I was full by the time I finished the sandwich with it. If you do decide to order from here - which I highly recommend - please note that this place is located inside The Vinery liquor store. This turns out to be a very nice bonus, because they have a phenomenal selection, but it does make it hard to figure out which door to go into to find the restaurant. This has me concerned that people will miss out on this fantastic addition to Dearborn's culinary landscape. Please also note that there is only take-out service available. Like I said, it's located inside a shop. But, it's so good that you'll want to forget your lunch some day so you have an excuse to get a carry-out from here."

"I was visiting my friend while on the east side of the state and he was RAVING about the deviled eggs so clearly we had to drive into Corktown to actually try it out and it did not disappoint! We went for lunch and was able to park right outside the restaurant, which was ideal since it was FREEZING that day, and was seated right away! The restaurant was absolutely adorable. They were still decorated for Christmas which kept the holiday spirit alive after the New Year and the menu still had some fun touches that allowed you to keep that vibe going. We decided to split the deviled eggs, the hummus and the falafel and fries. So let's break it down... LOVE that the deviled eggs came in an even number. Thee restaurants that give you an odd number? Get out of here, because eggs are split in half, where does the other one go? This place did it right! They had 2 different flavors. One was more pickled/olive and one had roe on it, so if you're not into that fishy flavor - it won't be your thing, but it was absolutely delicious! The hummus? It was good but a little on the bitter side. Once you mixed it all in, it was much better but not like your store bought hummus, so know that going in. The serving size was HUGE though so you definitely could get more than two people to share and getting two sides of bread was smart since we ended up eating and using it all. The falafel and fries were as expected and the perfect size to split. The sauce that came with the fries? Delicious!! Spicy and just the right bit of bite that I wanted with my meal! My favorite part of the whole restaurant was the beautiful fiddle fig that was hidden in the back near the restaurant. I definitely would love to come back and try more if I'm ever in Corktown!"

It's pretty much a takeout spot but they have a few tables for dining in and some seating outside. We were famished so we ordered a veggie combo w/ salad - comes with domas, hummus, baba ganoush and tabbouleh, rice and falafel and a chicken cream chop bowl - spiced brown rice, beets, onions, hummus, tabbouleh, garlic sauce, pickled radish and baba ganoush, a side of lentil soup and some flat bread. Lastly I ordered a watermelon juice to wash it down. The guy at the counter swore by the chicken cream chop which I had never had before. It could be described as a lightly fried chicken. To sum it up all I could say was WOW ! Everything was super fresh and so good. Maybe it's because we were starving I don't know but will go back and see if the dream was real .
