"Nice addition to Chelsea. Highly recommend online ordering and pick up. Love the Brahma sauce."
"Door Dash order, decided to try this place based on all the 5-star reviews. I can't give this place 5 stars. The chicken cream chop was so dry I had to dunk the chicken strips in ranch to eat it. The side salad was bland, the baba ghannoj was ok but watery, and the even garlic spread was bland. And when I order a side of pita bread, I don't want an entire bag of bread that hasn't been cut or baked - I can buy a bag of huge pitas at the store. And then, to make everything worse - I ordered baklava and rice pudding, but they didn't have either. No dessert for me :( Not sure why I even gave this place three stars, maybe because they're still open and feeding people, idk. Next.."

"Been here a few times and want to share my experience. The good: Baba Ganoush was excellent. Beef kebabs were great. The white rice is surprisingly good. Chicken Shawarma was very good. Mujadra was very good. The deboned chicken with garlic and lemon sauce was heavenly. Not so good? The greek salad was very meh. Dressing wan't very greek dressing like. Really bad? The pitas. Supposedly freshly baked but our bag of 12 were all burnt pucks. Would have made a good sub if a hockey game broke out. Overall we are figuring out what we like and will def be back. Hopefully they figure out the pita problem."
"Beautiful, delicious food. We ordered a lot of food to try and enjoyed every bite. I can't get too specific on what to order because, as the photo shows, we truly tried almost everything!!!"
"This was the first time eating here. I had carry out. Ordered the deboned chicken l, with chicken lemon rice soup and the fresh baked bread. I left and came back for my food. It was ready when they said and still very hot when I got home. Good portions and chicken was tender, moist and perfectly charred, the bread is great and melts when you eat it, rice was very good and the almonds added that special touch. Will be sure to go again."
"Located the plaza with convenient parking. The restaurant service was decent there sometimes on the slower side. The food for what it is is OK. It's more counter service food then table service food, but it is a place that is table service I guess what it means is that it feels more fast food than anything that you would sit down for. It's all right overall. It's very bright and it seems clean."
"Family-owned authentic Lebanese food, Hamido is the place to go in Dearborn, Michigan. They make their pita and everything off of their menu themselves. My Uber driver was the one who actually recommended this place to me and offered to take me here if I added it to my route.Ordered: - Grape Leaves (these are one of my faves and a must try at any new place I go to for comparison. I liked the flavor of these, but I wish they were bigger in size. I kind of wish I had ordered two of these cause they were my favorite out of everything I had).- Falafel (1/2 dozen - these are big falafels and they come with lettuce, pickled veggies, and tomatoes - there is a sauce I used that paired well).- Shawarma Combo (part chicken, part beef with your choice of rice, fries, or hommous - I chose hommous with mine. The meat portion was huge! I liked the chicken more). - Tabbouleh (glad I got this to have with the rest of my food).- a bag of Pita - garlic and tzatziki sauceThe wait was not that long. I received my food in a timely manner and couldn't wait to dig in once I got to my Airbnb. It was a great idea to stop by here so I wouldn't have to go back out again that night. The place is brightly lit, clean, small, but had booths and tables if people wanted to eat there. It definitely kind of felt more like a grab n' go - so plan to order ahead or stop by to order if you don't mind waiting. The guy who took my order was the son - the guy's dad is the one who started the restaurant and it was really nice to see his son being so involved in the family business. As I was waiting, I could tell that this place was popular as more and more people walked in to either pick-up or place an order. The food lasted me a good 2-3 days (received at night the first interaction)."
"Food was amazing and very affordable. My husband and I split a combo plate and had plenty leftover and it was only $30. Not too mention amazing"
"I simply have all the positive things to say about this Mediterranean establishment!!!Everything about this place is perfect! There is plenty of parking and seating. Each team member we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was clean and welcoming to include the restrooms. The food, the food! Fresh, every morsel full of flavor and every thing worked so well together! The vegetables crisp and paired well with the dressing. The bread warm and paired well with the hummus dips and garlic spread. The meat tender, juicy with a nice fire grilled crisp. Everything was perfect! Totally worth the 1hr plus drive for this Mediterranean food. Wish I lived closer to have lunches there. Can't wait to go back!"
"Wow wow wow! Beautiful Lebanese restaurant with a lovely ambiance and a shaded outdoor patio in Capitol Park.Incredible food!I absolutely loved my Mjaddara, a spicy salad with lentils. It's the most delicious salad I've had in a long time. I loved the fresh jalapeños and dressing, and the sauce that the lentils were cooked in. Such a perfectly balanced dish and plated beautifully too. My friend let me try some of his Mixed Grill dish and the meats were cooked perfectly. So flavorful and tender.Fresh, warm pita bread was a perfect accompaniment to our entrees. For dessert, the pistachio cheesecake blew my kind. Homemade cardamom graham cracker crust, and a raspberry rose whip on top. Perfection! My Lebanese lemonade drink was very refreshing.Attentive, friendly, and excellent service. I can't wait to return and try more menu items.Phenomenal experience!"
"I am so glad healthy options are walking distance to me at work!! Love the garlic spread and bread. Be sure to order ahead for carry out as its a small place and they need time to prepare it . I enjoy ordering the fresh juices after work. Beet , carrot and apple is my fav!"
"Visiting the city on a business trip, I was fortunate to find this gem in the local shopping center located in walking distance from the hotel. The reviews were spot on but it didn't give justice to the freshness and bold flavors that I enjoyed from first bite to the last. Thank you to the server for recommending a delicious cocktail to compliment my meal. I knew I would be returning for more during my time there and so glad I did."

Welcome to the neighborhood! It's great to have another option in our small town and oh what an addition! Fresh, made to order fare with a Lebanese flare. I'm especially excited for the breakfast burrito menu that we will try tomorrow morning, on our way to work. It will be great to have a nice quick breakfast stop on my trek. Wednesday dinner, I ordered the 'build your own' dinner with: falafel, naan/pita, caprese as a side, and toum for sauce. Toum is the traditional whipped garlic sauce. It has that sharp fresh garlic bite that will ward off vampires and even the most amorous spouse. Worth it! I had to order an extra side to make equal parts falafel and toum. Hubs had the chicken dinner with pita, hummus, rice and ordered a small sweet Michigan salad. The salad comes w a sweet cherry vingarette dressing. It was an excellent choice. Fresh greens, almond slices, cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes (minus the Gorgonzola). The chicken dinner comes on top of the pita, covered in the Brahma sauce. It was good but hard to eat the hummus w the pita as it's already covered w in sauce and meat. We'll know how to order next time. The caprese is different than the pesto caprese. Be clear when you order. If you don't want pita/naan, they have tortillas available too. Now for the cherry on top. Black cherry. The black cherry fountain soda. Oh yeah. Puck's naturally-flavored soda fountain. I've never heard of Puck's soda before but this fountain just might tip the scales for us when deciding when to go for dinner. Birch soda is like root beer but isn't completely appropriate to say root beer. Birch, cola, lemonade, black cherry, orange, and cream. They pack every order to go, or stay to eat in the small dining room. I hope they find alternative containers for dine in, as the containers have to be costly. They are very nice. Brahma Haus is super affordable for the quality. I hope they stick around.

Ordered delivery and not one mishap not one cold dish except the fattoush. Special instructions followed. Fresh salad wow. Most restaurants pay little attention to salad quality. Leila's salad was fresh and colorful. Awesome taste. Ordered falafel patties, chicken lemon rice soup, and Lebanese rice. I ate small portions and put the soup in my thermos for tomorrow's meal. Feta cheese added to salad was FRESH. Definitely the best I've had

Came here with a friend but only AFTER did I realize this spot made the NYT's 2021 restaurant list. This spot was poppin' on a weekday late lunch which was surprising but it was so good & great value so I can see why. This spot is known for all day breakfast/brunch-esque food. Both my dining partner and I weren't familiar at all but we made it through by watching others and asking for recommendations! We had the: *Mosabaha (Freshly cooked Chickpeas mixed with Hummus) - this warm hummus was a DELIGHT! *Spicy Potatoes (Diced potato, deep fried and mixed with our house garlic cilantro sauce.) - We SLAMMED this dish. *Eggs with Sujuk - when this arrived to the table, I commented that this was almost like eggs & chorizo! ate like it too - fairly tasty! *Labneh with Zaatar - I love love love labneh and this delivered. They also serve you a plate of pickles, tomatoes, raw onion and mint! It's fun to get creative with this and make your own tasty bites. The above was PLENTY for two gals to be very full and bring home some leftovers!

Ordered tabbouli and pita. Oddly, I didn't see tabbouli on the online menu, but saw in the reviews that it was recommended. It was great and a healthy alternative to the other places in this strip mall.

If you're looking for excellent Lebanese food in Dearborn, look no further. Seriously, stop reading this review and just go to Hamido already! The food is fantastic and there's no shortage of excellent food on the menu. My friends and I went to visit recently and had a great time. It can be difficult to find a table during peak hours, so just be flexible when you arrive or plan to order takeout in advance. I'd also recommend the combos - lots of variety at a very reasonable price (especially when you consider that you'll get a few other meals out of the combo!). All things considered... why are you still reading this review? Go to Hamido already!

The name of this restaurant is not deceiving. It truly is tasty! I ordered the lunch chicken over hummus with lentil soup and a strawberry/banana/honey smoothie. Everything was delicious! The hummus was smooth and creamy. The chicken was juicy with a nice char-grill on it. The soup was full of flavor. And the smoothie was a perfect. The service I received was friendly and inviting. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

"The pita and garlic are fantastic and the side salad is delicious and huge! I wasn't a big fan of the falafel wrap, but would definitely go again and check out more of the menu."
"The menu selection and food make this place special but the owners, servers and location keep me coming back. The food, garlic and pita bread have always been fresh and the prices are very reasonable. The friendly owners always come and visit the table to check on you and make sure your taken care of. The location has plenty of parking and the restaurant has lots of seating as well. I love the Mediterranean pictures and paintings on the wall. It's very relaxing here and the smells stimulate the senses. The restaurant, kitchen and bathrooms are very well designed and extremely clean. I've been to many ethnic food restaurant and while it's not the best I've ever had it's well worth stopping in and having a bite to eat and enjoy the people, food and atmosphere."
"Incredibly friendly service!!! The food was made fresh and was quickly prepared. I got the chicken shawarma wrap - definitely would return for it!"
"Good place for charbroiled meats and Lebanese food. Meat was fresh and cooked per order. Good customer service. Would visit again if I was in the area."
"Oh my goodness what a FABULOUS restaurant with a wonderful owner and incredible food! I was staying nearby for work, and stopped here prior to checking into the hotel, for carryout. When I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and a large menu to peruse. He helped me with what best to order based on what I liked, and even decreased the size of a few items to ensure I wasn't overwhelmed with food (even though I still was!). I left with enough food for 5 and probably ate for 2.5. I was sad to leave leftovers because everything was phenomenal!I had a variety of proteins, the garlic sauce was fantastic, hummus was light and homemade and the bread was airy and difficult to stop eating. Can't recommend this restaurant enough - I'd love to dine in if I ever got the chance, as the restaurant itself was adorable and large!"
"I work in Dearborn, which has the finest Middle Eastern food on the continent. Kabob Town is a slice of Dearborn on the east side, but it's much more than that. In addition to traditional Middle Eastern fare, there is a huge selection of western foods. And, they are really good. But first, the main attractions. The chicken Shawarma sandwich looks and taste just like what you would get in Dearborn, except that it's larger. Everything is huge here. I decided to put that large fattoush chicken feta salad on a scale, and it weighed 2 1/2 pounds, without salad dressing.I decided to try the salmon galaba sandwich recently. It's hefty, and only $7.99. There is not a lot of salmon in it, but it tastes great. The lemon rice soup is excellent, and we make sure to get one with every meal.My 21-year-old son doesn't eat anything that isn't deep-fried, so he was happy that they had fried shrimp, onion rings, and other western items on the menu. Don't be fooled by the "kids" designation on the menu. The servings are huge. My son got a burger and fries, which he loved, and he couldn't finish it all.The large portions don't come along with a large price. Everything is reasonably priced. And, despite ordering from here several times, every order has been perfect. I honestly can't think of a single other restaurant where that is true."
"we came in and it didn't look busy, around 3 on a Sunday. Then it got packed with other diners and carry out orders. It took several minutes for someone to acknowledge us. The server was not very friendly, but she was pretty efficient. The food was great. We got a "platter for 2" I don't recall what it was called on the menu. It comes with brown rice (only rice option, has meat and spices in it. I wish they would offer a pilaf or yellow type of rice), Shish tawook, shish kabob, kafta, meat and chicken Shawarma, plus fattoush and hummus for $40. Definitely fed 3+ ppl. We also ordered a dozen falafel, which are some of the best around. One of the kids ordered a cheeseburger and he seemed to like it. Really good curly fries. The remodel of the restaurant looks nice, new tables and chairs. I realize that I hadn't ever reviewed Hamido before. I love the garlic sauce here."
"I've never been impressed with any of the Middle Eastern/Lebanese food on the east side. I've never been impressed with really any place I've tried on the east side. Some great Italian joints, the Bobcat Bonnies at Partridge Creek is the best one I've tried out of the four locations I've been to; but aside from that, nothings ever really moved me when it comes to dining out in Macomb County. That all changed when I found Sam's. Great food, great salads. Their chicken is amazing. Their prices are great and everyone who works there's very friendly. I make it over that way a few times a month to visit a friend and it's always Sam's we indulge in."
"I am in love with La Fresh. We recently moved to Northville, and I am so grateful to have found this nearby Mediterranean gem. They have the best hummus and hot bread that I have ever had. Please do not take that lightly - I am well versed in hummus and bread. Whenever we have company, we treat our guests to this. My other absolute favorite things is their fattoush salad and dressing. It is particularly fresh - it stays fresh for leftover lunches for days! That really says something! We typically get their lamb shawarma and chicken shawarma sandwiches. They are huge. Another thing I will mention is their lunch specials (served all day). They are a neatly packaged offering where you pick your sides. It is pretty close to perfect. It is also enough for two. You can tell the food is high quality and it is packaged with care. It is a little pricey in comparison to other restaurants with similar cuisine, but it is worth every penny. One last thing... I recently had their cheese pizza (baked in their wood bread oven) and it was remarkably tasty. I actually piled fattoush salad on it and used it as a vessel to get it into my mouth. De-lish. Tip - order extra bread, don't think twice about it, and save any extra in the paper bag, in a ziplock bag, and hide it from your family. You're welcome."
"Down here for a work training session and wanted to grab some good food to take home. This place was suggested to me, so I went ahead and made a carry out order. I ordered the Platter for 2 and a Chicken Schwarma platter with a fattoush salad. Can I just say there are a lot of Schwarma places out there, but this is some of the best Chicken Schwarma I've ever had. It was moist and tender and very flavorful. Also, the kabobs with the platter were also excellent. There was so much food, we easily could have fed 4 people. I'm not complaining though, we definitely enjoyed the leftovers! I wish we lived closer because I'd be coming here more often!"
"Hole in the wall bakery that dishes out great pies. We tried turkey w/ cheese, plain cheese and of course their namesake zaatar with cheese. Among these zaatar was our least favorite but still pretty good. Honestly I would have loved a bit more zaatar as the cheese mellowed its flavor. Maybe next time i will try plain zaatar"
"I've been coming here every week for the last couple of weeks. The service is so fast and friendly - you get a bunch of bread with the best garlic sauce as a free appetizer, and they cook so quickly that by the time you're on the second piece of bread the main course is already out.We really like the feast of meats for two ($38 as of Dec 2024). It's really enough for 3-4 people in my opinion, especially if you eat a lot of bread like we do. The platter comes with a mix of kebabs and shawarma, grilled veggies, rice, and tahini. The seasoning is not too heavy, so you don't get overwhelmed and sick of the taste. We also love the hummus platter here, which comes with an arrangement of fresh vegetables. Cannot recommend this place enough."
"Smallish establishment place that has a variety of mediterranean food like hummus, baba gannoush, grape leaves, kabobs, and shawarma. I got a sampler platter than had mujadra, caramelized onions, hummus, tabouli, pickled turnips, and cbaked falafel - so as to sample everything. Wow - was everything good - and a lot to eat! I took some home and it reheated great. You, of course, can just get one entree or salad - but I wanted to try a taste of everything. There is a good selection of basic drinks and mixed drinks. Service was pleasant."
"Picked up a Greek salad with a medium-cooked lamb "kabob sandwich". The lamb was juicy and tender and the soft bread that came with it was melt in your mouth warm & delicious. I'm not a person who naturally likes beets, but in THEIR Greek salad it was the BOMB! Can't wait to go back! I also noticed they have a nice side patio space."
"Our favorite Lebanese food! It's a must to get it at least once when we're in the area. Must order EXTRA garlic spread!! We always call in to take out and the portions sizes are huge. Delicious meat with rice and veggies, you can't go wrong."
"Everything we ordered was exceptional-Completely unexpected for this little spot in a shopping plazaChicken shawarma can be a wrap, over rice, over hummus, etc. the hummus is smooth as silk- creamy and perfect. Don't leave without the shawarma fries- no pic can explain it although I'll post one. Everything good about the chicken shawarma over fries with lots of cheese- it's a fabulous invention, lol!We also had the rice salad- very nice and not overly dressed. All comes with pitaThe young woman at the register is extremely friendly and all was ready before expected pick up time."
"I love the food. It was quick and delicious. I enjoyed the outdoor seating in the summer. Perfect. Happy tummy. Happy me."
"A delicious lunch on our trip at AA.Chicken dinner plates were very good.Thumbs up for the hummus and the grape leaves."
"Easily my go to spot when I want some healthy and don't feel like cooking. The owners are so nice. Always busy. The Salmon Fattoush Salad has easily become my favorite. It's fresh, delicious every time, and is packed with the most perfectly seasoned salmon I've ever had! What do they put on it!? www.thebitetonight.com"
"I finally stopped in here for lunch and so happy that I did! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked what could they get for me today. I told the lady it was my first time coming there and she got super excited and said well let me tell what we have!As she went through the menu and told me about all of their offerings, I was so excited by her kindness. They had so many things that I wanted to try but I kept it simple and just got a Chicken Shawmra Salad and a Chicken Shawmra sandwich. Both were very good and the a good portion size. I will most definetly be going back to try other items."
"This is a 1/2 chicken shawarma plate and it was amazing! It also comes with pita and a cup of soup. I will definitely come here again. Be aware that there are only four tables and they do a brisk business, I was lucky to get here before their evening rush. The service is friendly and the food comes out quickly. Again, this place was amazing."
"I met a gal who works here and she was very kind, they also brought our whole unit catered food from here and it was nothing short of amazing. Fresh and just what you think of when you want Mediterranean food. Love the salads and chimkin"
"LA Bistro always delivers excellent food, service and atmosphere. Both the Dearborn and Canton locations are on our "go to" list."
