"Located down the street from Fords garage, Brome Modern Eatery is a nice little spot for some foods and drinks. They've got burgers, fries, juices, Acai bowls and more. They've recently changed their layouts and did some remodeling. I think overall it looks great inside. I typically only grab to go orders so I can't speak on their dining in service, ordering food to go is very simple and has always been super easy. The staff are helpful and can answer questions about the menu. I tend to order the impossible burger and it always tastes really good. It comes with a sauce that makes it 3x more appetizing. I usually go for the Kennebec fries but my last visit I tried the Cajun fries. Both are decent but I really want to try their chili cheese tater tots. I also got the Kombucha sunrise as a drink. Just for this mean the total was $30 which is super pricy so I wouldn't drop in every week but worth a visit at least once."
"Ok. Gave it another chance. This time my son and I visited. Service was good. We started with plantain chip appetizer. Food was delivered hot and delicious. I spoke to Nadia, the owner, whom I had earlier shared my disappointment with my first visit. This dining experience was much better."

"I have been here a few times and it's such a great spot with delicious coffee, and a variety of pastries and food items. The service is great, the staff is helpful and the cafe is clean. It's a good place to get work done, there is a lot of seating available and most of the times I've been here the majority of customers are studying or working. I recently got the mocha with cinnamon and wow it was excellent. The latte art is beautiful, the drink was creamy and the chocolate was rich. This is definitely a go-to spot for hanging out, doing work, and having a great drink and/or pastry."
"We got the lamb soup, chicken and beef, and mango smoothie to go.The lamb soup kind of tasted like beans and lentil soup of sorts, I was expecting more lamb flavor to it.Of the chicken and beef combo platter, I liked the chicken more; it was flavorful and tender. On the other hand, beef was a little harder to chew on.Mango smoothie has subtle hints of spices added to it, which I like of the flavor. But the smoothie was just a little too sweet for me and I had to water it down a bit."
"I love Mr. Kabob in Berkley. When this location opened up in Troy I was ecstatic!!! It's perfect, you're in and out super quickly. And the food never fails. I am usually there once a week."
"World class coffeehouse & roaster. They roast themselves, single origin! And pastries from one of the top new bakeries in Detroit. They make their own syrups, for those who have not yet advanced to drinking coffee on its own.UPDATE October 2023: The Ethiopian Sidomo is one of the best coffees I've ever had, and I buy from the best roasters in the country. I always keep a bag of Red Dot around the house!TWO SUGGESTIONS:1. The pastries from Canelle's are fantastic, BUT for those who don't eat meat, we only get one savory option: plain croissant. I'd buy more if there was a cheesy option without the meat.2. Offering Colombian and Brazil as the only pour-over options is not much of a choice as they are so similar and so bland. Would be nice to switch one for Ethiopian, Kenyan, Guatemalan, etc."
"I came here as part of a large group for dinner. One thing I enjoy about this restaurant is that they give you individual pots so if someone in your group doesn't like an ingredient or has a food restriction, it's a-ok. We got the all-you-can-eat dinner ($31.99). Do note that everyone in your table has to commit to this (to avoid food sharing as there's an a la carte menu). The food we ordered arrived quickly. The quality of the food was average. A lot of the ingredients came from the 168 supermarket nearby (the fish balls looked extremely familiar). It was easy to flag down the server to get more refills.I got the Lao Pot Special Soup base, which has opaque white broth with Chinese dates, goij berry, and green onion. It's pretty mild tasting, which is why I always doctor it up with the minced garlic and green onion from the sauce bar. The sauce bar was full of various condiments and had some recipes of their recommended sauce mixtures.I saw that they're going to have Korean BBQ soon. I would come back to try it!"
"Really good ice cream shop located on the north side of 12 mile Rd between Middlebelt and Orchard Lake. This shop is tucked away in a small corner of a strip mall and is easy to miss where you definately need to be purposely looking for it as it will not jump out at you if passing by.Relative to their Ice cream they carry an assortment of Premium Guernsey Ice cream which I am a huge fan of where few ice cream joints in Metro Detroit carry this brand. That in itself makes this ice cream centric business stand out from their competition and worthy of a trip here in and of by itself. Prices for the ice cream are fair and in line with other hand scooped premium ice cream parlors. Besides the ice cream, this business carries there own house label of coffee that is locally roasted and unique to this business which is quite good and flavorful in its own right. Other products served here include a full lineup of coffee drinks, assorted pastries, breakfast/lunch sandwiches, soup and an assortment of fresh salads. Relative to service, the husband and wife owners were tending the counter while we were there where they were super friendly and very accommodating as they let us sample multiple flavors of ice cream before we settled on the final flavor. Relative to the business itself, it is bright and clean inside with two outside dining areas. The outside dining areas have quite a few tables available where the rear outside dining area is covered which is definately something to keep in mind during rainy days.Overall we were quite pleased with all aspects of this business and definately would recommend this place for all the stated reasons especially if you are aware of Guernsey products and are as big a fan as I am of this Michigan premium brand. Definately looking forward to my next visit here where I will be sampling their Guernsey based milk shakes next!"
"LeRoy: Would have needed to be tricked into entering the establishment, but likely would have enjoyed the dumplings and chicken pho. Katie: I got the dumplings and the chicken spring rolls. The chicken spring rolls are true authentic Vietnamese spring rolls made with rice paper. They were, in a word, exquisite, complete with the peanut sauce. The dumplings were steamy and delicious. I think that's all I have to say. Caitlin: It has been years since I've had a fresh spring roll, and the shrimp spring rolls were ECSTASY!! The peanut sauce was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. When my chicken pho came out, it was a portion bigger than my entire head. I ate and ate and ate, and STILL had an enormous portion to take home. I loved the plentiful gluten free options, and I'll definitely be back for more!"
"I finally paid a visit and it went great. Cute and simple cafe to just chill and hang out with friends and families. The drinks I got were all good! There were so many choices to choose from the menu. I have yet to try the desserts and food so that will be on my list to try when I head out that way again. What I also love was that it's kids friendly because they have a section in the cafe for cardboard games for kids or adults. The kiddos loved it and couldn't stop playing them. They were more excited about the games than getting their bobas. Definitely recommend!"
"I love the treats here! I've been here a few times and love there are vegan and gluten free options for my allergy sensitive friends. It's a cute place, very cozy inside. The service is fantastic and the employees always go above and beyond to make anything you order look amazing. These photos are old but their shakes are awesome and delicious!"
"Never misprints when I'm in the D! Hands down, The best Baba Ghanoush anywhere. Make sure you get the pickle turnips"

Amazing burgers and shakes. Their strawberry is so good and I think it has little frozen chunks of strawberry. Burgers are prepared fresh and to your liking. They do have a bigger selection of different types of burgers and chicken sandwiches. I also realized they are very popular for their salads. I'll have to try the salad next time and keep you all posted. Ambiance is nice very cute place to hang with friends and family. It is loud and they always have good songs playing. There is a cute patio outside to sit on. Service was a little slow as they prepare the sandwiches fresh so that was expected. Parking in the back. I also didn't take pictures because in my head I felt like I have already wrote a review on brome. Try it out !

A random stop for dinner. I never heard of this place but saw it a few times driving by. I had the lamb shank mixed rice beans and corn salad. It was delicious, the meat fell off the bone. Very cute place. I love the color combo. The server was very excited that 6 tables had been new patrons this evening. Definitely will be back.

Atomic is a RO staple, open late so that any work or meetings or conversations can happen with your cup of coffee in front of you. With that being said, it is always packed and fighting for a table with isn't really my favorite thing to do. They do have some fun flavors and would recommend a latte as their coffee tastes a little bit burnt. I got a matcha the last time i went and it was made with a lot of care and they didn't overpower with too much sweetness

Great place for carry out. Not really a place to sit down and eat, even though they do have tables. Workers all wearing hair nets which I thought a good idea. Food is very good, you won't be disappointed. Friendly and fairly quick filling your order. This review is for the restaurant on Holbrook .

Love the spacious location compared to the old one. These guys have endured neighbors with good menus fading away for one reason or another and I gotta give Xpress credit for lasting. The grills are always running, food fresh, and a huge variety of combos. 4 solid stars

Wow, I've been eyeing Red Dot for a couple years now but never got the opportunity to check it out until this past Monday afternoon. The building probably used to be someone's house, which was rebranded into a cozy and spacious coffee shop with lots of seating and space. It's pretty close to Northville Downtown (a few blocks north on Center Street), so you should definitely go out of your way for coffee if you're already there.I got the latte with honey and cinnamon (+oat milk) which ended up being closer to 7.00 after tax. It's a bit expensive, but definitely a delicious drink. It was a bit too sweet for me, so next time I'll try something else. I like that they have pretty unique drinks on their menu, including the 505 which is two espresso shots with 5g of honey shaken and then poured over ice. There's also affogato, espresso & tonic, and pour overs here, so definitely a large variety that will please coffee lovers of all sorts.I got a bag of Colombian beans here to bring back home, so hopefully they make a tasty pour over!

Fun place to sit with a small group and have a nice long chat over tasty hot pot cooked noms. Choose your broth and the add-ins you'll cook in your hot pot. All manner of meats, seafoods, and veggies await your selection. Can't choose just a few?--feeling extra hungry?--then opt for the AYCE "buffet." Staff will keep reloading your add-ins and broth until you're full. I love the little personal induction cookers, too--your pot gets hot, but you don't burn yourself on a hot stove. Full bar available with some fun drink specials. Staff were friendly.

"This local coffee shop on the downtown strip of Brighton is great. The shop has a hipster rustic, cozy feel to it. My bf buys their Chiapas blend of beans whenever we're in town-they make a mighty tasty brew. Every pastry and coffee I've had from here has been delicious. Service is super friendly too."
"I went here due to a recommendation from a friend. This place sits in a plaza off of Whittaker. There is plenty of parking. There is seating but it is limited. It also seems that most people do carry out. There were 2 ladies that seem to be pretty busy with making the orders. Therefore, I had to wait a few minutes to have my order taken. I ordered the Kelp Yeah and the chili. They were pretty good. The Kelp drink had a good mix of flavor and although nutritious it was tasty. The chili was also good. The staff was friendly and if you love smoothies than this is the spot. They also have sandwiches and other food which is a plus. I will plan on visiting again."
"Some of the very best Mediterranean food Michigan has to offer! Fresh ingredients, seasoned perfectly, served in ample amounts - I always get more than 2 meals out of my portions. Our office has ordered lunches twice within 6 weeks and everyone was happy with their orders."
"Wanted to have lunch prior to our flight and wanted a local restaurant, not a chain. So glad we googled this (conveniently located near our hotel).Arrived at 1130ish as it opens at 11am and very few customers so that was a plus. Started off with the hummus which was smooth, luscious, and creamy! They also give you these complimentary Middle Eastern rolls with garlic sauce, mmm! If you're dining between 11am to 4pm, order from the lunch menu. Huge portions for 12.99! We got the Greek salad and rice for our sides with the chicken shwarma (white meat). So flippin' good!No dessert for us as our tummies were full, but check into Yelp and get 15% off, and that can be your dessert! Total bill OTD with the discount was 29 bucks for two people! Our server was also very sweet, friendly, and personable. Seriously, check this place out! It's by far the best Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to!"
"The best thing about this place is that they're open late! Sometimes they take a bit to prepare your food but it's worth the wait! I love their crème brûlée! They put fresh fruit on top. I've also tried their macarons and rolled ice cream! Both were amazing. Very clean inside with plenty of tables! They also have a little section with exotic snacks and drinks that you can buy!"
"i come here a lot! great tea and pretty interior design, they are open for most days and they are pretty fast with the food and drinks even during a rush! they sell a kind of loose leaf/tea cake that is very delicious and many good snacks"
"If you're in downtown Detroit south of Grand Circus and looking for Mediterranean cuisine this is the place. Deli style atmosphere, but a short walk from several area hotels. Food is delicious, fresh, and the staff takes pride in their craft. Mmm. Shawarma."
"I dig the wide variety of options for both food and drinks, something to satisfy everyone. The clean, modern interior creates a great atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite at the bar or gathering a group for a leisurely brunch, I recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty meal in a vibrant setting!"
"A friend of mine told me about this place and what I should order l, but I actually went with another item that sounded better and I'm glad I did. It was GREAT! Peepos specializes in subs and sandwiches, however I ordered the Afrikano Bowl with shrimp($17) and the strawberry banana smoothie ($7). The bowl seems a little high in price but they give you a ton of food and it really does taste excellent. The smoothie was very good as well and comes with a few slices of kiwi. They have an indoor seating if you'd like to sit down and eat as well as the ability to order carry out. The staff seemed pretty kind and welcoming. I'd say they're worth the try!"
"I really like this place. Their smoothies and bowls are delicious and super fresh tasting. So refreshing and I feel good while I slurp down the goodness and it energizes me when I am done as well. The service has been excellent each time I have visited. The environment is bright and always well-kept. I like the check out process with the enhanced "register." Why isn't this a 5 star? It's a catch22. The prices are a bit high, but do they have a choice? For super fresh items that have an attached cost for quality, I would say, as a small business, they have to have some profit. Maybe, it should be a 5-star, because they do have support themselves. In any case, delicious describes Raw Organic juice bar. This place is great for vegans and also anyone that wants some prepared cleanses and detoxes."
"I've had Urge juices several times at the RO farmers market but I finally had a chance to stop in their store front in Berkely. The shop is small but clean and cute. They have just a few tables if you're looking to stay and eat. They obviously are known for their cold pressed juices which come in a nice variety of flavors are are about $10 each which is average for cold pressed juice. Let the Beet Drop is one of my favorites. They also have a couple of elixirs that are much smaller, I tried the Awake and it was delicious. On my recent visit I wanted to try their Acai bowl. I have a banana allergy so they were able to make it sans banana. The one guy suggested to replace it with dates next time which I will definitely try. I topped my Acai bowl with chia, blueberries and strawberries and pepitas (pumpkin seeds) and it was delicious. They have some salads and quinoa bowls as well as some toast options to choose from also. They are planning to add some brunch items on sundays in a few weeks I'm told as well."
"Nice cafe! I've been to this Pappa Roti a few times now, and have always had a great visit. They have a wide range of items from sweet and savory snacks. My most recent visit was a few weeks ago while they had their collab with Kolachi and we ordered quite a few things! From the collab, we ordered the chicken roll, the beef roll, the vegetable samosas, and the chicken puff pastry. Everyone's favorites were the chicken roll and the puff pastry, they weren't too heavy but had great seasoning. You can't really go wrong with any of their signature buns that they have, my favorite being the nuts for nutella or the basca bun. I recommend eating it there or in the car if possible, it tastes best fresh! There's plenty of seating inside, which is nice because it gets busy quickly. The staff were really nice, they gave great reccs. and everything came out quickly."
"Wow! We're visiting from California so our cousins ordered take out for us. We had a huge party tray with rice, veggies, grilled steak, deboned chicken, and lamb. I'm not usually a big fan of lamb but this one didn't taste gamey at all! The meats were seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm a big fan of Mediterranean rice and theirs by far is my favorite! The hummus, baba ganoush, and tabouleh (all spelled differently at this restaurant), we're very flavorful and paired perfectly with the warm pita bread. Yummm! Don't sleep on the garlic spread, it is so yummy! Officially one of my favorite restaurants in town! I'll definitely be back again!"
"Good place for charbroiled meats and Lebanese food. Meat was fresh and cooked per order. Good customer service. Would visit again if I was in the area."
"Quickly's second location in Auburn Hills is a blessing to all the boba deprived souls in that area. Stopped by tonight to scope out the new spot and it's just as nice as their first location in Troy - consistent in quality and service. So much yes.Location/decor:This shop is in the middle of the downtown Auburn Hills area. There's a few parking spots in the front, but my recommendation is to go towards the back where there is a parking lot. The inside of this place is so hip and trendy. Reminds me of the location in Troy as well as a the boba shops That we have back home in Southern California. They play really chill and relaxing music, There's plenty of tables where you can study or just chill, And they have board games for you to play too (incase you didn't want to study lol).It looks so much nicer than the businesses that were there before - an amazing job by the people who designed it. Boba:I Have never had any issues with quickly's boba in Michigan. I'm not sure if the shops back in California just got lazy or do things differently but it isn't very good at home. I'm so glad that's not the case here.I ordered a jasmine milk tea with Boba and egg pudding. Not too sweet, no powder (thank all the heavens above because powder is gross and has no place in good boba shops), and the boba was really chewy and just right (nothing undercooked or overcooked). Love love love. I'm very picky too When it comes to jasmine milk tea because of all the different ones I've tried out at home (boba spots are literally almost on every corner in socal) so I am very happy with the way this one came out. Will have to come back again when I'm in the area for the snacks. I've had some in Troy and I'm willing to put money on them being the same quality and taste. In other words, super yummy. Their popcorn chicken, mochi waffles, and spam musubi have always been on point for me. Employees and owner were super friendly and quick to make really good recommendations for us. I know that boba is a newer thing out here compared to in California, so whether you're a newbie who wants to try it or a seasoned boba connoisseur like yours truly, then I recommend you check this place out!"
"I stopped in to Sheena in East Dearborn on the way home from work while on a business trip to Detroit. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. The young man at the counter helped me to decide which dish to pick I did get.Shrimp Galabah. I have never tried this before. This dish was absolutely amazing. There is enough food for me for at least three meals as well as a fresh salad loaded with fresh vegetables. He also provided me with a cup of fresh tea while waiting for my food. I have to honestly say I have a new obsession. This restaurant is definitely a 10 out of 10 and if you are in the Dearborn Michigan area, you must try this out!"
"I guess I don't get the whole relationship between Kung Fu Tea and the TKK Chicken establishment. That being said I can only reflect on TKK chicken as I haven't yet tried any of the teas from Kung Fu. I ordered two 3-piece chicken combination dinners.1 regular recipe and one spicy recipe. For just under $9 per dinner you get: 3 strips of chicken ( think chicken fingers) a biscuit and 1 side ( slaw, mash potatoes w/ gravy or shishito peppers) The chicken is quite good. A light batter and moist chicken with a crispy, crunchy fried finish. Depending on your appetite, the dinner combo may not cut it. The sides are small but very tasty. I'll try the quarter chicken dinner next time as the chicken is quite good. FYI, there are no takeout menus available. There's an app your supposed to download if you're so inclined."
"I love coming here on my lunch break. I work next door so it's just a 5 minute walk. I look forward to my Chicken Greek Salad. Always fresh and flavorful. The smoothies are great too! Thank you for serving healthy food."
"For some reason, the listing for the Middlebelt Rd location is missing from yelp... I ordered a falafel sandwich and lentil soup a couple nights ago. The lentil soup was super tangy. I'm not sure if they're putting some kind of dairy in it, or if they are heavy handed with the lemon. I only ate a couple bites as it wasnt very palatable. The falafel sandwich was just okay. Not enough tahini and zero garlic sauce which I didn't realize had to be ordered on the side. One employee was out front smoking when I arrived to pick up my order, while the other worked on my order inside. Not exactly the best advertisement for the shop. The place was completely empty around 630pm as well. Bummer. I'll go to one of the more well known spots next time I'm in town."
"First time here !! LOVE the variety (gotta checkout their online secret menu that has over 100 custom recipes made by customers themselves! ) I would compare this to a "TropiCal Grill Smoothie" but more intentional. Also, I should mention that because it was my first time here, I was able to sign up for the rewards program which offers a free smoothie on your next visit ! I had to knock out some work so I stayed here for a few hours ( not the coziest or biggest place but most customers are to go orders so I was the only one there lol ) I sat right in the beautiful sunny window and a couple hours later ordered my free smoothie using my phone number at the counter Great overal experience, very friendly and accommodating staff , and of course delishhhhhh smoothies !"
"I'm not sure why the bad reviews. I order from this place all the time on door dash and love their food. Their saji sandwich is amazing and totally different and better than any place I've ever been. They have so many shawarma options. The bread and garlic sauce is to die for. I finally went in person ate and met the owner and she's lovely. Dont let these bad reviews stop you from trying this place."
"For starters, Steve, the owner is an incredible human being. He will go over everything they offer (which is a lot!) with a smile and sometimes even a sample. It's always a pleasure to see him! Side note- before I met him, I had read his comment on FB helping out someone in need. The next morning I happen to walk by the business and was looking at the menu from the outside (it was 8am and they open at 11am) and out comes Steve to welcome me in. Who does that?! He immediately won me over. The food is great, and they have gluten free options too! There is a wide variety of frozen pre made food, that is a great option for when you just don't have time to cook. The difference with store bought frozen is the quality of what you put in your body. They also have frozen pizzas that my dad likes, and he is a picky eater! If you're looking to come in and eat, they have great bowl options, wraps, burgers, shakes, etc. All amazing and again, it's quality food. Hands down 5 stars, give them a try!"
"I think this place might have had my all time favorite chicken shawarma. The garlic and hummus were so flavorful and potent, however also did not overpower the chicken and vegetables. The chicken was grilled perfectly to a crisp, and the pickles tasted very fresh. This was a wondrous shawarma. My only regret is not getting two instead of only one. I highly recommend this place for a reliable, delicious chicken shawarma. I can't speak on behalf of their other menu items (ie: hamburgers), but their shawarma game is on a next level!! I will definitely be coming back here for more!!"
