"I'm an avid hookah bar go-er. This is what my best friend and I do to blow off some steam instead of grabbing a drink at a bar. This was our first time as XS since the name changed from Double Apple -- it's been a long long time. We got such incredible service. The hookah came out fast, we never had to ask for more charcoal, it just came. Our bill came quickly when we asked for it. And lastly, it was inexpensive compared to the other hookah bars we've gone to and regularly frequent. it cost $18 for a grapefruit head and an ice hose. The decor is cute. Couches comfy. Staff HELPFUL!"

"When I was younger this place used to be a Lava hookah lounge. But since it became The Gallery it's gone through a major renovation and the menu is a combination of Sicily's Pizza and Kai Sushi with hookah as well. I dined with some friends to watch the Lions playoff game (which did not go as expected to put it nicely). Despite the heartbreaking loss, I found my meal to be quite satisfactory and the service was exceptionally on point considering how busy it got as we progressed through the evening. I underestimated the portion sizes when I placed my order. The boneless wings and sushi platter were from the "starters" section and they really give you a good amount. In addition to that the pizza was one of my favorite meat lover's pizzas ever (all halal). Even if I tried I could not find any complaint with the food I ate, which was a good thing because dinner with my friends over tasty grub almost made up for the awful game. I did not partake in it, but they do offer coffee, mocktails and desserts here as well. If they can maintain the quality and service just like this I have no problem declaring this establishment a top 10 restaurant in the city of Dearborn Heights."

"This is at a location of an old hookah place, Lava Lounge. I don't know if Casablanca has new owners or if it was just renovated, but the change in experience was amazing.Immediately upon walking in, my friend and I had our breath taken away. The venue is clean, with a simplified traditional Middle Eastern decor. The couches are new and nice, definitely isn't cramped. We were given the choice of a Unity, KM, or Starbuzz hookah to smoke from. We chose an Al-Fakher grape mint KM. We definitely had to go with a KM because we're admittedly snobby smokers and because we have our own, don't normally go out to smoke. It was $17, which is normal for a hookah + orange head.The pack was awesome - great pull, long lasting. The woman who was replacing coals came by and checked on them about every 15 minutes, so the smoke never ran low. I lost count, but she switched our coals at least four times and we were there about two hours. The tobacco never burned and never lost its flavor.The music was loud, but we were still able to talk at a comfortable volume. I have no complaints. They were playing late 90's and early 00's music, but I figure that was just the night's theme.Overall, this was a great experience and I must say - I was pleasantly surprised."

"I cannot recommend this place enough!!! The guys here are so helpful and nice. I was visiting from out of town and decided to stop in to get a glass type of hookah. I live in San Diego, CA and they unfortunately do not have the type of variety Detroit has when it comes to quality hookahs.The guy that helped me was Brandon. He showed me several different types of hookah options and the pros/cons to each. He clearly was just as knowledgable as I was which I was happy about. I ended up getting a Deezer Glass hookah. It's AMAZING. I have used it several times since being back home and I could not be happier. Last week, my vase broke because of a wrong move with the hose. :( I called over and Brandon shipped me another vase since I couldn't physically come in.The prices here are definitely reasonable. The quantity and quality of products sold here is the reason why I will always recommend this place to friends/family. The orange heads to go were good and flowed for hours. Check them out, I don't think you'll regret it!!"

Beautiful gold drapery all through the restaurant and cozy lounge seating to make you feel at home. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and it was so good! It was a large portion, that included waffle fries, Buffalo Chicken and romaine lettuce. It was perfectly pair with house made ranch dressing. It is enough to feed two, but it was so good, I finished myself. The menu included an array of fresh ingredients from smoothies, salads, sandwiches and wraps. It also has many different flavors of hookah. Great place to chill and grab something good to eat!"

It's honestly our favorite place to chill, the seats are comfy, the televisions are all over and every seat in the house is a great seat. You can sit here for hours. The hookah is 100% the best in a 50 mile radius - easily. Other places sometimes just taste like charcoal, but you can actually taste the flavor here.It's also such a great place to study and work because it's generally quiet, and comfy! They also got awesome food and even better desserts. 10/10 recommend you check this out and ignore any negative reviews. They throw parties on Saturdays that you can reserve for and from 1-5PM everyday the hookah is basically half off. That's a great deal!! We could probably have gone on another hour.Didn't order the food so can't comment on that, but as far as good places to catch up with friends and smoke hookah for a reasonable price, you can't really ask for much more.Only suggestion: the bathroom's a really weird layout. It's like 900 sq feet, and is for some reason only made for one person at a time. Maybe they hold business conventions in there on the side? The young lady that has taken my order each time was professional, patient, knowledgeable and has gotten my order correct is time.They carry a sweet potato roll that is savory, naturally sweet and an unique sushi option. The standard California Roll is available as well as some that are speciality like a Las Vegas roll that mashes us spicy Mayo, jalapeños and a flavorful deep friend outside. Granted I was there during the daytime, but the waiter was super nice, and talkative, and attentive and prompt! The food: this time I ordered nachos but with chicken shawerma on it- VERY VERY YUM. If you get it and you don't like spicy, ask for no jalapeños. Also had their grape leaves cuz I love grape leaves forever, and some hummus and even their fries are so good and fresh. I ALMOST had shisha but it was daytime and I was alone lol so I didn't wanna have alone but it smelled great- def going to try next time and will review then. Overall great experience!"

"This is a great go-to place for hookah and caffeinated beverages in Dearborn. The ambiance is kind of trendy, dark, and snazzy. The hookah tobacco used is top notch - our argeelah smoked smooth and crisp for about 1 1/2 hours (and it was 4 of us sharing). The Turkish coffee was dark, thick, rich and robust - and the coffee pot came with enough to pour about 4 mini-cups worth. I was tired and the Turkish coffee really picked me up. There are pretty friendly and mostly Americanized Mideasterners here, mostly ages 20-30, so no worries of it being a high schooler hangout. The pricing reflects the clientèle, as the hookah was about $13-14 each, and the specialty caffeinated drinks ranged anywhere from $3-$6. So, not the cheapest place in town, but you are paying for the atmosphere. There was a nice aquarium to look at in here, too. I would not recommend the food here, because the focus is so much on quality hookah and espresso drinks, so the food is far from authentic Arabic that you would find elsewhere in Dearborn. I am a food junkie, so I would not get more than just hummus and pita from here. Even though the food here looked mediocre, the pricing was still as much, if not more, than the authentic food that can be had elsewhere.I was disappointed by a couple things. For one, the wait staff only checked on us every half hour, and that was with us flagging her down. Our waters were empty for a good 20 minutes before she noticed. Granted, it was a little busy, but she could have taken a little better care of us, especially since it was obvious that we were newcomers driving in from further than Dearborn (first impressions are everyhing). I also did not like that to get more hookah, you have to order a whole new argeelah for $13-$14. So we stuck with just one hookah. Many places will just bring you a new bowl of tobacco to affix to your argeelah, at a discounted rate, but not this place, these guys require you to buy a whole new one).Overall, a good place for the ambiance and atmosphere. Again, I would come here for some hookah, a yummy espresso, maybe some hummus - to chat with friends and hangout. Since I expect really good authentic food, I would not cough up the money for actual dinner here. It just doesn't seem right when you're in a town that serves up the most authentic Arabic food in the country. I gave this place 4-stars in generosity, though I would give 3.5 stars if I could."

The free Wi-Fi does come in handy for those times that you might want to work on homework, or maybe a little gaming, or even browsing the same Facebook post for hours and hours and hours.Rent a hookah, and buy one head at a time, then let the hours tick away. It's by far one of my favorite places here in Royal Oak. No gimmicks, just pure fun with people you love to talk to. "Terrible customer service. Before this incident I was a regular customer most Friday's. I bought a glass piece on a Friday for a gift for a friend. When I got home, and was cleaning the smudged up piece they display on their shelves. I noticed a small crack in the glass. The store is close to work but far from home. So I waited until Tuesday to resolve the issue. Rather than take the product back and report damaged merchandise to their supplier. They blow smoke up you a$$ and tell you all sales are final. Their supplier won't return it or believe it was damaged on arrival. Blah blah blah. Offered me a discount on more of the cheap glass they sell. I declined and took the broken piece with me. The way I look at it. It only cost me a cheap $30 piece, that they pay $10 for. To realize what bad business is done here. I've spent hundreds of dollars in here since I worked in the area. From now on I'll take my business down the road to wild bills or the hazel park BDT. Better quality, because they have better buyers who know a thing or two about the products."
