"The. Real. Deal.Real fun place to shop in. Get your wallets out because if you're anything like me, you just can't pass up quality. A small little store with a lot of products. Including a great deli selection. House made counter and sandwich counter in the back. I had the classic Italian on a hard roll. Also the prosciutto on a hard roll. I grabbed some great store selections as well. Beef and spinach ravioli, gnocchi, Italian sausage and cannolis. 100% would be there multiple times a week if I was local."
"W O W... We ordered a large takeout today for Father's Day. It was last minute in person- $80 worth of food and they had it finished in 15 minutes. We ordered a bunch of al pastor tacos, huaraches, a few beef burrito supreme meals, sopes, gorditas, chips & salsa, beef tacos. Everything was phenomenal and very authentic! It truly made today a special Father's Day for my Dad. I appreciated how friendly and helpful the employees were. The market is great too. The restaurant side has sit down tables. I highly recommend Dos Hermanos!"
"This is a Friday Treat. I go through the entire store, looking at everything. It is a Foodie Paradise! If you need an unusual ingredient, chances are you will find it at Alex's.It is a bit expensive, it is worth every penny. Today, I just discovered they have a 24/7 drive through. Yes, Chef."
"We love Los Arcos Market! This is the best place to come grab your authentic seasoned street tacos meat ready to cook on the flat top. Make sure to grab some to stash in the freezer. It stores very well! Grab up some of the El Milagro Corn Tortillas in the white paper package- the BEST. Don't forget cilantro & white onion to complete your mission. You will be glad to discover Los Arcos Market."
"Consistently friendly service and delicious food. Great options for grab-and-go items, and you can even order online!Oh, P.S.-- Do yourself a favor and try their Chicken Bacon Caesar Stromboli (thank me later)! I'm usually not a Stromboli fan, but WOW, they knock it out of the park!"
"This place is so cute and they have a good variety of goods. Great vibes with the market integrated into the coffee shop. The Mariposa latte I ordered was phenomenal! I'd go back again just for that alone. I also ordered a "bagel bomb" (specifically bacon green onion) and it was ok, the bagel was pretty tough and it lacked cream cheese, stuffed bagels are tricky. But I still ate it and I would probably try a different flavor next time. The person at the register was very welcoming and the service was great. I can't wait til I'm back in the area to go again!"
"This place was a delightful surprise. I was in the market for some decent lamb, and a friend suggested this place. It was absolutely fabulous. The butcher brought out an entire leg and butchered it in front of me, cutting some into stew meat and leaving a big chunk for a roast. It was fantastic. The olive bar is quite nice, and the hummus is delicious. The place is also immaculate, which I appreciate. I can't wait to go back and explore some more!"
"This place is the cutest! Every time I'm visiting downtown Clarkston I can't help but stop in just to meander around this little gift shop/ Cafe. I always manage to find a unique gift here, and the shop during the holiday season is extra gorgeous! Can get a bit crowded at times since it's so small and very popular! With good reason! They tend to carry a lot of Michigan themed items here too."
"Oh boy! This morning was my first time stopping here. What an event! Its a gas station that's for sure, with a full service deli inside. Typical snacks, some grocery items.I looked at some of the reviews before I walked in, and I must admit they do have a ton of craft beers. They also have some of the local craft soft drinks as well. A decent variety of wines and liquors rounds out the offerings. You can also get hot coffee, tea, cappuccino, frappuccino, and probably some other kind of -ccinos. Soft drinks are available back at the fountain by the coffees.Outside were bags and bags of carrots, apples, corn and sugar beets, all ready for feeding the poor starving deer in the wild.A few gasoline pumps and 4 or 5 truck lanes for diesel. Very limited parking for big-rigs.Really, read the other reviews, as they do a much better job than mine in telling the whole story. What a nice place!"

I ordered the flautas combo...and it was incredible. This is a true hidden gem. The restaurant is connected to a small authentic Mexican grocery store. The fluatas were freshly fried and filled with shredded chicken. The tortillas had the perfect crunch It was topped with tomatoes, sour cream, sliced avocado, and tomatoes. The beans and rice were perfectly seasoned. I was so full....I barely enjoyed the most amazing tres leche cake this side of the Rio Grande.

Great place to stop for a quick meal. Don't let the gas pumps outside fool you - they have a wide variety of prepared foods inside. Many fresh and cooked selections, great for a quick bite while on the road.

Los Arcos is a grocery store and taqueria combination. Most grocery store goods on the right side of the store, and the taqueria and meat counter separated out on the left. Burrito Al Pastor ($8.50) - This burrito includes lettuce, tomato, sour cream, onion, cilantro, avocado, and your choice of meat. I usually get carnitas, but Los Arcos Market doesn't have it, so I went with Al Pastor this time. I believe this is technically not al pastor and instead is adobada since I didn't see the meat on a spit. The marinade on the al pastor is a bit weaker than other places, not as many fruity notes as I normally expect. The meat does have a nice red layer on the exterior from the marinade. It's grilled on the flat top but didn't have that much crisp. The lettuce and tomato soaks into the tortilla and makes it soggy. Weight: 19oz. Not sure I would get this burrito again.Torta Cubana ($10.99) - The torta was much better than the burrito. Lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, avocado, and sour cream on top of a bunch of cheese and different meats. This sandwich was absolutely packed with meat, including a hot dog/sausage, two breaded fried chicken patties, ham, and egg. The fried chicken was kind of thin and tough and felt like they used older oil to fry them. They also added a bunch of cheese, resulting in a nice cheese stretch when pulling the sandwich apart. This was all on a bolilo that had a crisped exterior after being grilled, but fluffy on the inside. Los Arcos is certainly not a bad choice to pick up a quick meal but it wouldn't be my first choice in the area.

I love grabbing the pizza here when I go to Lake Elizabeth. The pizzas are so delicious and the large size is huge. They load the topping, and there is something about the sauce that makes me want to take one more bite. They offer other food, and because it is a market, there are wines, liqours, and other alcohol beverages. I always had great service here and there are plenty of parking spots.

My favorite butcher. Great selection of fresh meat and frozen ones as well. They have anything you need (veggies, sauces, spices) in one convenient place so you don't have to drive around everywhere to find whatever your recipes call for. I am also a huge fan of their made in house hot dogs. With such fast and friendly staff, you won't be disappointed.

Great local shop to find fun gifts. They have an awesome selection of Michigan made products, fun and unique baking gifts, great serving ware, and a nice selection of candles and soaps. Grab a coffee while you're there, so good!

"This is a fantastic spot for a quick, no frills lunch. It just looks like a small Mexican market from the front, but there is seating and a counter to order in the back. You order at the back counter and they will give you a receipt to take to the front register - pretty handy so I can pick up baked goodies or groceries in the same transaction. I LOVE the selection here. They offer cuts of meat that you might not find at many taco place around here, such as tripe, lengua (tongue) and even cabeza (head). The first time I went, some regulars urged me to come back again to try the shrimp quesadilla and I'm so glad I did. They have a good dink selection, including jarritos and horchata. The breads are a little dry for my preference but incredibly fluffy. They make chicharrones on the weekends and they use a meatier cut than I typically find. It's so crispy the meaty parts remind me of freeze dried ice cream!Just a warning that this is a hole in the wall kind of place. You seat yourself and you clean up after yourself."
"Great party store that I have gone to for years. Two brothers own it and they keep the place neat and organized. They will special order if you ask them. State min for liquor prices. Friendly owners and workers too. Good selction of big name and micro brew beer also a pleasant wine selection. Their spirits randge from top shelf to the bottom. They also have a small grocery section for premade sandwiches, limes/lemons, sometimes fruit, etcTwo Thumbs Up !!!!"
"Definitely a little high priced but if you're looking for a variety then this your place - I actually only came in for some pecans because in the fall there seems to be tough to find at a reasonable price. Walking in here - i wished i was a baker because i would be in heaven. Lol!I was greeted when i walked in and immediately asked if i was looking for anything special - of course i wanted to browse a little. Even though there's a policy of strictly NO TASTING - there were a few i would've like to. I guess when i'm feeling fancy i could pick out some new treats.Don't sleep on this place - they also have a clearance section in the back. I highly suggest stopping there FIRST."
"One of my quarantine pals lives near this market and I've stopped in a couple times to grab brews and liquor on my way over. Their liquor selection is fantastic. They have most everything you could possibly want. The craft beer and seltzer selection is also very impressive. And I'd be lying if I said I haven't perused their snack aisle a few times... they have a full selection of all the salty snacks your drunk or high self may desire. The store is clean, open, organized. Stop in if you need provisions in the area!"
"Always good food coming out of this place. I can't say about the deli (which I hear is good) or ordering cuts (from the inside it looks like they're all out... like you come in and they'll say to you "We're all out"). The meals are always plentiful and priced well for the area. Brisket could use a bit more flavor and the sides go quick, but its always a good place to visit for a quick fix."
"I've been shopping at Prince Valley for several months. I have a standing Sunday rite of picking up pre-cut fruit, a vegetarian breakfast burrito (while supplies last), and a few Mexican snacks like cacahuate japones or plantain chips. There's a reason this place gets such heavy traffic. Their prices and selection are excellent, and their meat counter, deli, pre-cut fruit and vegetables are particularly high quality and well-priced. They have a hot food counter and bakery that I haven't tried, but seem to have strong following for both based on the lines and good I see others check out. The grocery has done a redesign in the last couple of months. They've moved around some coolers and made the front of the store much roomier to avoid crowds. It's a good change and makes waiting in line (and figuring out where the line is) much more pleasant."
"The selection of beers, wines, liquors is pretty vast. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was only $5. It was great. They're undercharging for it... It's a high quality pizza (unlike little Caesars)."
"Alpine has the best Fried chicken around. Their chicken is always cooked to perfection and the side dishes are always nice and hot. I always recommend their chicken over any place around. Thank you Alpine and keep up the good work."
"Excellent horchata here, good food with extensive menu, small general store tooI usually get the tacos here which are pretty good (also it's maybe the only place that serves fairly hot salsa verde) - though you'll also find great birria, tortas, and gorditas. The menu is huge - lots to work through. The place is very roomy and the walls are all lined with booth-seating which I like, not to mention a ton of windows, which gives this place a bright environment compared to most cavernous restaurants around vernor. It has a very home-like feel to it, in a way that other comfy hole-in-the-wall restaurants don't. It would be easy to bring large parties here too. Being in company of more than 6 can get really hard in southwest, but not here. (They might also cater too, as I've seen them carrying out to a van large tin trays of rice and meats - but you should double-check). There's a small general store area in front of the register where you can get snacks and other pantry items, meats, hot food) They have some of the best horchata in town here. It's as good as Sr. Lopez, which beats all others. They do up micheladas in really big glass mugs too. I think there's a full bar. Service is always above par. (and they get just a few bonus points for having a keep-you-guessing tv display... sometimes it's Latin American futbol league, sometimes it's SpongeBob SquarePants)"
"I tried the carryout version of Beef tacos and beef enchilada dinner. They were excellent , lots of meat , and cheese, tomato and lettuce in tacos all fir $2.50 each. The enchiladas were absolutely delicious. There was plenty of beans and rice! We will be back and sit down. I can not wait try the menudo."
"Authentic mexican food made fresh from their open kitchen. Also a mini grocery store with assorted of canned goods, spices, drinks and party items. Price for the tacos are fairly cheap compared to taco tienda. Most likely to come back and try the quesadillas and burrito. Credit card is accepted for payment."
"It is nice to have a small neighborhood business just arround the corner! I am so fortunate to have one in my neighborhood. Lions is a wonderful little grocery/wine shop that has just about everything you could possibly want, or need. It is always clean, the shelves are stocked, and the selection of wine is remarkable, considering the size of the shop.I am also impressed with the owner, Sam, and his enployees, they are al upbeat, helpful, and all have a great sense of humor. They are always willing to go that extra mile if you need it, There have been times when I have needed groceries delivered, and they don't deliver, but Sam would make an exception for me and deliver them to my home, It is difficult in this day and age to find a gem like Lions. They also have a deli with hot, or cold sandwiches, AND delicious salads and pizza. Thanks, Sam and staff! Don't know what I'd do without you. Hope you're here forever. K."
