I got a build your own bowl and my husband got a spicy falafel wrap that he loved. I received a text letting me know my order was ready and exactly how to find it, the communication was on point. And my order was indeed ready in the pick up area within the time frame it said. I have videos of the interior attached as well it was clean and simpIf you're cutting back the carbs or just want a light but filling lunch I recommend checking them out!"

Alex K. "well, this place doesn't suck. despite changing their name years ago, "renee's pizza" is what you're looking for when you're trying to find this place. my girlfriend and i ordered pick up and got a 16" thin crust pizza, cheesebread, fries, and a calzone for an unsavory total of... $72. yikes! gotta love that gluten-free *and* vegan tax. first off... adding "light" for the vegan cheese is a must. it almost always is. not only that, they charge you $3 instead of $6, and as you can see, there's still plenty. the pizza was great honestly. i'm not usually a fan of new york style crusts, but this works. their dough is surprisingly pliable and chewy for being gluten free which is a big thumbs up. my only real knock on this is that the "roasted garlic" we added was the jarred stuff. you know.. the kind that's peeled by chinese prisoners' teeth (don't watch "rotten" on netflix, seriously) -- but i digress. the cheesebread is whatever. it's on the same thin crust that their pizza is, and it's just sad and kind of lifeless... reminiscent of what Blaze Pizza calls cheesebread. a sprinkle of vegan parmesan and/or some garlic salt would improve this a lot. it's not bad, just mid as hell. i'd pass on a second visit.the calzone looked awful but was actually pretty incredible. the size of it was decent, the fillings were pretty plentiful... not much negative to say here except it'd be made better with a brush of garlic butter. mm, mm. their fries come off very... five guys. which is good if you're like me and actually enjoy a greasy-and-kinda-soggy fry. they hit the spot, and for someone with celiac (my girlfriend), it was nice to be able to order some deep fried fries and not have to settle with some air fried ore ida at home. as a whole, renee's -- er... Tru... -- is a pretty impressive gluten free place with solid vegan options. previous years' photos of their vegan options look atrocious, but it looks like the new owners have found out how to melt the cheese (which is sad.. it ain't hard). my only kindawish is that they'd have plant-based meats on the menu, but when this relatively small amount of food was already $72, i can see why they don't bother to offer it. absolutely worth a look if you want vegan pizza and/or a celiac friendly option in the area."

We started with the Bruschetta appetizer and it was amazing. For entrees, my wife ordered a Tempeh Reuben and I had the Black Bean & Sweet Potato Quesadilla. It was all great. The cocktails, Complimentary soft warm seasoned baguette bread paired well with our delicious house salads and Charley's Chowder. Everyone in My family party enjoyed their dinners too from Charley's Chowder, Seafood Lobster Fettuccine, Seafood Panroast # and Grilled Chicken Fettuccine. We ordered the Sid and Seymour along with the scrumptious deli dip and those pickles.. it was such a pleasant meal! Elaine W. "Updated review. Actually spoke with the owner on the phone after my last review. He explained to me their mission for this restaurant, which is to create an affordable, MSG free, organic Thai food place for everyone. I was impressed by the theory and decided to try it again. I was not offered any monetary incentive btw, so this is a honest review. I have to say, this is not the best Thai food I have ever tasted, but this is the only MSG free Thai food restaurant in the area. Plus they offer organic ingredients. Their service is also excellent. They offer many diet accommodations, such as gluten-free or vegan. I was most impressed by their soup this time. Very unique. Full of flavor. Would definitely return just for the soup and the friendly service."

Gail B. "We attended a dinner for about 35 people. The restaurant was packed upon arrival. We were assigned two servers. Madison and Brooke did a great job. A manager also helped with any requests. She was so nice about accommodating me. Our group had three entree options. A steak salad (an enormous salad with a generous amount of meat), Shrimp skewers: (Six large shrimp, rice, string beans) or Chicken pasta. Everyone had a house salad and yummy bread. I ordered a margherita pizza. It wasn't what I expected. I asked if I could just have the vegetables from one of the entrees and a baked potato. The manager said, "instead of making due why not get something you a tually want?" So, I had the linguini and tomato soup. The pasta was yummy. The soup was creamy and delicious. Dessert was carrott cake or cheesecake. The carrot cake was rich and yummy. My family enjoyed the cheesecake too. There is extra parking around the back of the restaurant. The patio was full, in spite of the hot weather."

I was instantly seduced by all of the unique offerings which seemed to be authentic Turkish delicacies. It was tough to narrow down my choices, as everything looked amazing. I decided on:stewed greenbeans ,lamb stuffed eggplant ,house salad and Noah's pudding for dessert. The service was excellent and friendly.Everything was fabulous!I particularly appreciated how healthy everything was with the inclusion of whole grains in every dish, even the pudding! Irarely order dessert, but this may be the best one I've ever had. The mixture of grains, dried fruit, nuts and rose water was absolute perfection. I licked the bowl clean and longed for more. I will definitely return to try all of their other offerings."

Rob P. "This is why I need to look at the reviews more than just the overall rating. I might not have given 5th Tavern a try based on the 3 star rating. But, we got a recommendation that superseded the average of the 471 people who wrote reviews before. Thank you, friend. It was busy, and it took a while to get a server. I was starting to imagine why the score was lower than I would've wanted. Then, the waiter showed up, and took our order without writing anything down. I'd rather not help somebody use our order as a memory training device. My wife always has special requests, and it never ends well. I was expecting a disaster. But, first, they brought out freshly baked bread. It was amazing. Then, our orders were delivered pretty quickly after we placed the order, considering how busy it was. And, everything was exactly what we ordered. My wife loved her salmon salad with feta cheese on it, per her request. My wife's mom couldn't finish the Ruben she ordered, but she loved what she had. And, I was impressed by how good my lobster grilled cheese was. There was actual lobster, and a good amount of it. The cheese didn't add much, but it was grilled to a golden crisp in butter, and it was delicious. My sandwich was served with a chunky sauce, which turned out to be the base for a superb, tomato and asparagus bisque. The pesto drizzle was a nice addition.I was surprised that the prices were reasonable, considering all you get. What in the world were people thinking who gave it a bad review? Well, don't worry about them. It seems that the bad reviews were talking about the service. We had an excellent waiter, and that makes all the difference. Ask for a good server, and I'm sure you will be pleased with 5th Tavern."

I don't eat pot pie very often but I do enjoy it.I ended up buying both a 5" chicken pot pie ($9.50), which can probably feed 1-2 people, as well as a 5" chocolate pecan pie ($7). I haven't had the chicken pot pie yet at the time of this review, but my mom and I split the chocolate pecan pie this weekend, and it was DELICIOUS. They also have meatball pot pies, which I think my dad would like; vegetable pot pies; and even gluten-free pot pies. Most of the pot pies (the savory ones, at least) are frozen, and you just pop it in the oven for 50-60 minutes to cook. I did see on their website that if you want your pie to be hot upon pickup, you can call them at least an hour beforehand, and they will have it ready to go for you.Service was friendly too, and I'll definitely be back at some point after I eat my chicken pot pie!"

I have always wanted to try the food here since hearing about them back 5 years ago or so. They had fresh juices: watermelon and strawberry, all fresh squeezed too. All of their food is made from scratch and nothing is bought prepared. The quality of ingredients is beyond amazing. Their ingredients are GF, dairy free and soy free. The owners are super friendly and informative about their ingredients and meal contents. They have the ability to heat up the prepared meals onsite and tables in the locale for peeps that want to sit and eat for a spell. All of their Togo containers can be put into the ovens and are plant based. I saw their GF and dairy free (almond and coconut) chocolate chip salted cookies, they were chewy and absolutely the next gf/dairy free cookie I have ever had so far. I tried their jerk chicken and tinga and their chickpea cabbage salad. The chickpea cabbage salad was tasty. The jerk chicken and chicken tinga was so tasty and with their pickled onions, sauce and even with the kimchi was top notch. I didn't try their steak or their chorizo (not on their menu), but they also looked good. They have ready to go lunch packs and kid friendly meals too. I would so love and want to have Ryan be our personal chef and to make us every meal. I will be back here as often as possible. They offer food for pickup or delivery too, can it get any better than that?"

I say this after trying 5-10 other local places for work and they are either dry, soggy, or just weirdly sweet. Celiac Specialties are well balanced, the pastry is fresh and tasty. I love the chocolate with raspberry filling or cream filling as well as powdered. They literally sell out on the day of and this year we were able to preorder on FB and pick-up which was awesome.
