"This is an unsung gem in Detroit. Great prices, incredible food, and friendly service."
"Great ice cream spot that has some delicious flavors! I always need a cone when I have ice cream and the cones are made fresh which you can taste. The sea salt butter cake and black sesame flavors are definitely the favorite but we also enjoyed the flavors we got as well (maize and blue, raspberry stracciatella, and butter pecan). You can't go wrong with any of the flavors and they have small pints to take to go if you want. It's a cute little spot with nice decorations to take a picture with your ice cream."

"On the way home from the grocery store off of Outer Dr, I spotted a very unique looking food truck and immediately thought "what in the world is that!?"I got home, unloaded the weekly food shopping and told the husband "get in the car, we need to investigate". We headed back to the truck and were delighted to see that it was a SUSHI TRUCK!!!The aesthetic is casual yet approachable class which is carried out in the truck design, logo, menu, and packaging. We got their Signature roll, Caterpillar roll, and the Mt. Fuji roll and went home to chomp it all up (they do have a deal with Custard Co. to used their tables if you want to dine al fresco).Guys, I am not exaggerating when I say it was like high-end amazing... Fresh, flavorful, and phenomenal. The Mt. Fuji roll was my favorite, the rice was perfect all around, and one of the rolls has shrimp and I normally hate the texture of shrimp. In this case the shrimp was just so dang good, it made me wonder what I've been missing my whole life!I will not be shocked when this becomes a super successful dine in restaurant one day and I'll be first in line to make a reservation to take my friends for the best sushi of their lives."
"Got the I -75 shawarma and cilantro fries which both are delicious and that jalapeno ketchup is the best with those fries ....it's always a treat when I'm in the area when I can stop in I love this place HIGHLY SUGGEST TRYING this place out"
"One of our neighbors arranged to have this food truck visit our neighborhood on a beautiful summer evening during the pandemic - it is exactly what we needed...something different to do and eat and a great chance to catch up with neighbors! The menu choices are pretty straightforward - a pile of meat (with various options) and sides of cole slaw and mac & cheese. I'll start with the sides:The cole slaw is mediocre, at best. The mac and cheese was outstanding...and I am a big fan/critic of mac & cheese. As for the meat...I had the sausage and thought it was quite good. I could have done without the ends - no one needs to be reminded of how sausage is made :-)My daughter had the chicken and liked it. My wife had the pork, and also enjoyed it.All of the portions are fairly large, so no one went home hungry."
"I was at old Miami with some friends and we got hungry and saw this truck and immediately went over. It's a great location for a late night snack/meal. The service was good and the food came out pretty fast. The food itself was good but nothing extraordinary, good basic hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries. It REALLY hit the spot after the bar. I likely wouldn't seek it out, like go to midtown just to eat here, but if The Burger Truck finds me on another night out, trust I will be getting a hot dog. And fries. The fries were seasoned super good and an order came with a LOT."
"Just tried this food truck for the first time, and wow! Juat WOW!GREAT TACOS and a friendly vibe like very few youll encounter. Wish I had taken a pic! The Birtia taco was just superb, the chorizo and yucon gold and the spicy chicken tinga were off the hook. The carne asada was my wifes fave.If you have a chaace, do yourself a favor"
"Just get the sexy tacos. It'll change your life. They hit EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. The service has always been good. One of my go to taco spots in the city."
"Visited this food truck off the recommendation from the food critic "chime-time." We spent $65 for 3 burgers w/fries, order of chicken tenders/fries, and 6 pc wing. Wait time was 40 min. The burgers are smashed so the Pattys are extremely thin. Our burgers were luke warm at best and underwhelming. Fries are hand cut which I can appreciate but weren't hot. The wings looked absolutely nothing like they did on their Instagram page. They were very tiny and seemed like frozen battered wings from a food supplier. Very dissatisfied. I'd say this place is extremely overrated and a waste of money. ICould have gotten a better burger from Wendy's."
"Really solid spot ofr lunch. I had the Crispy Cancun sandwich and it was top-notch. They put Tajin (or something similar on the fries) and it's delicious! It took a little while to get our food, so I suggest ordering ahead if you can. Also, their bathroom has the most impressive discotheque-style light display. It's honestly really cool!"
"This is a review from the first time I tried this place which was when it first opened last year. The food here was phenomenal; the quesabirria tacos with the consommé is one of the best I've had. The chorizo burrito will keep you full for 48 hours. And all their tacos are fantastic. Lately, it takes forever to get a phone call answered and it seems like they have less help with the horde of people that seem to flock here daily. But they are always kind and always working hard to pump out delicious food. The simple rice and beans are also worth trying which most places just throw in front of you unseasoned. Not the case here. It's pretty tiny inside, only about five tables but the carry out process is great for the most part. I would say be patient with them, because the food is worth it for sure! And they now have a sign above the door so you can't miss it!"
"My daughter and I enjoyed dinner from Delectabowl this week, at the RO Farmer's Market. She had a baked potato....I had the Monster Potato Bowl. Our family loves going to food truck rallies and we were so happy to have selected this business. The people are great! Service with a smile, and super patient with my indecisive daughter. :) The food was fantastic and will be a definite future repeat."

I ordered 4 steak 4 chicken tacos, 2 sides of rice and beans and a chicken quesadilla..28$ not bad at all! I was stuffed eating 3 tacos, they are flavorful and full of meat! I also appreciate that they give you ample sauce , grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, radishes and limes on the side!! And the customer service was exceptional! Definitely will be going back

A cute little ice cream shop in downtown Detroit ! It's a tiny place so not the best for larger groups but it's in the middle of a ton of walkable places! Service here was super friendly and very efficient. The ice cream has such a different texture compared to store bought/other shops but we loved it ! The flavors weren't overwhelmingly sweet and you can tell it's made with fresh ingredients. Best part is that you're able to buy pints of their flavors as well. Can't wait to come back and try their other flavors !

It was great and fast service. I am vegetarian and was happy to find that there were lots of vegetarian options. There was the name garden roll which had delicious vegetables and I loved the mushrooms for texture. I also enjoyed (I think this is how it's spelled) the omusubi. I will be returning for sure. Prices were good as well

Came here while in Detroit. I follow them on social media and absolutely love the way the owner treats his employees and his videos. I had to check him out in person. It's a food truck so no service and they have tables outside if you want to eat there. I had the Strawberry Lemonade which was great, sweet and tart. Also tried the 3rd Street Detroit Cheesesteak. It was an untraditional cheesesteak but delicious. The bun was crunchy but not hard with Sesame seeds on top. Everything in the cheesesteak was flavorful and seasoned. It came with a dipping sauce but honestly it was not necessary. I had their famous Cilantro Garlic fries that had me smacking all the way home and came with a homemade roasted pepper ketchup that elevated this food truck meal. The entire meal was tasty and satisfying and will be back to try the rest of the items.

Came here after a slow roll, It was parked at batch brewing company. They have these things called" burnt bits" and I did not know what they were so i asked the guy and he described them as basically brisket because I thought they were going to be more like rib tips and boy was I wrong. They were so delicious! They just ripped apart so easily. YUM!! Also order a side a mac and cheese that was middle of the line for me, not bad but not the best. And the brisket came with cornbread that was mouthwatering! Yum, yum yum!

I love their burgers. I went to the one on 8mile near Woodward. They don't have a location on here for me to review so I picked this location. I got the 3 sliders and the mango lemonade. Scrum-dilly-umptious. They are very friendly as well

I have followed this Detroit food truck on Instagram for a few months, but hadn't gotten around to visiting. After seeing a recent post indicating that they've changed the name from "Taco Time" to "Tuff Taco", I was reminded to check it out. I stopped by on Taco Tuesday hoping to have a memorable experience, and I did.I stepped up to the order window and was offered candy by the gentleman server. He was super friendly.I ordered shrimp tacos and Mexican Street Corn.He offered to add a hot cheeto topping, which I declined, but apparently this is a popular treat to their patrons.I intended to take my food home to eat, but while stuck in construction traffic, the parm on the corn beckoned me to take a bite.I was glad that I did. The hot corn on the cob topped with dressing, cheese and seasoning was the tastiest bite I'd had in a while. It's arguably the best Street corn that I've had.The shrimp tacos were delicious as well. Also offered on the menu is halal beef tacos, loaded nachos, quesadillas and chips. My food totaled about $14 and was definitely worth what I paid.Special thanks for the service. It was a cold wind out that day; the gentleman who took my order brought it out to my car saving me from braving the elements to go back and get it when it was ready.I definitely recommend this taco truck and will certainly be back.

"I've seen this food truck around and finally decided to stop. They were out of plantain but ordered the jerk chicken meal with a beef patty. It was solid. Stop by and try them."
"3.5 stars is more accurate. There was hardly anyone there when we stopped by, we sat outside in a sort of patio area, next to the food truck where the food was prepared after we ordered inside. It was pricey, but decent, not up to the hype which had brought me there. I ordered the Philli-Mignon sandwich, it was decent, but I wish I could taste the horseradish beet mayo or the cilantro lime aioli. It could have had a bit more meat on it for $17. The garlic parm fries were good, I think they were $4 to add to the sandwich. I tasted my sister's crab Rangoon eggs rolls (the flavor was ok, not as creamy as what I would expect. They were large in size, though). The shrimp Po Boi was decent. Nothing blew my socks off, if the sauces weren't so bland on the Philli-mignon, I think it could've been a great sandwich, it's also very messy."
"Very happy to see an authentic döner place right here in SE Michigan! Last time I had this delicious version of gyros/shwarma was in Ottawa, Ontario many years ago. Döner's meat is marinated in sharp, peppery spices and slathered with a garlicky sauce. A taste explosion compared to shwarma or gyros and far less salty. We tried the beef and the chicken (a mix cut right from the stacked and slowly cooked roll spit of mostly white meat with some thigh meat mixed in) and both were equally melt in your mouth delicious. Reheated half of it the next day for 5 min in the air fryer and it was still great. The bread was a sesame seed-sprinkled pita bread that had a lot more bready loft than typical Syrian bread, which absorbed a lot of the sauce. It is loaded with vegetables- onions, pickled cabbage, etc. A little expensive for a sandwich but hey, it will last for 2 days!BTW, döner is pronounced 'dih-neer.' I already knew that because the Canadian one has haunted me for many years wishing we had a place to get it here."
"My family and I went to Robin Hills Farms for a day out and the Heavenly Chicken and Waffles food truck was set up there and I was PSYCHED to see it!I love chicken and waffles and had been following them on social media for a while so I was excited to finally try them out. Their ordering process is streamlined for COVID times in that you order from their website and they send you a text/email when your order is ready. It was SO easy to do and even easier to pay. I did the taster platter which was half a waffle, three drumettes, and a small side of their heavenly potatoes. My mom and I both wanted more chicken so we also split an order of their drumettes. Everything was excellent. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the waffles were fluffy and the perfect compliment to the chicken, and the heavenly potatoes were quite tasty (seasoned red skinned potatoes pan grilled with red and white onions and fresh green scallions, sautéed in garlic butter). My cousin, a picky 13 year old, LOVED it. It was her first foray into chicken and waffles together and she was super into it. She even doused both in the syrup and she never has syrup. My aunt, her mom, got the Chicken Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken topped with chicken bacon, fresh spinach, pickle, Bermuda onion and real mayonnaise served on a butter grilled brioche bun) with a side of fries and she loved hers too. We all spent our drive home raving about the meal. The fellas running the truck were SO friendly and kind. It was like 90+ degrees out and I know it had to have been sweltering in the truck but they were nothing but high spirits with the customers."
"If you want a sandwich that'll knock you out in a good way and fill you up, this place is a must try. You order at one window and pickup at the other. They were quick but not so quick that you think it's some microwaved nonsense. It's delicious, the beef is fantastic but the hot peppers make it even more enjoyable. I'm not someone that can handle a ton of heat so when I say hot peppers, they're not over the top or unbearable. They are a delicious complimentary piece to the amazing beef. I will warn you to eat it quickly, if you are driving some distance before you bite into it, the sub bun will be soggy. But even then it's delicious. The toasted ravioli is a great side, it's crunchy and if you eat it too quickly the insides will burn your mouth like a good old pizza roll. But man, what a spot and what amazing food, definitely put this place on your list."
"Not many burger places can compare. If only I didn't slam my burgers, fries, and hotdogs on sight each time, I'd have better photos. I'm in love with their Nacho Cheeseburger (I add corn, tomato & pickles as well). I got that as well as nacho hotdog and garlic parmesan fries (add cheese) to share! A feast for two you could say!!! Their JUICY patties are phenomenal, fresh toppings, delicious sauce, and very kind workers! Will update photos next time I go back, because I *will* be back!"
"Stopped by Detroit 75 kitchen in Troy during a trip to Michigan and wow what a great scene! Great indoor and outdoor setup with plenty of room and great music playing outside. Service was also fast and pleasant. Food wise, I got the 3rd St. Detroit Cheesesteak with garlic cilantro fries and Corktown BBQ beef,All I can say is WOW... both sandwiches were delicious, I personally loved the BBQ beef, and the garlic cilantro fries were some of the best loaded friend I've ever had.. everything was fresh as could be and perfectly seasoned.I would definitely come back on my next trip to Troy!"
"Service was super easy. I called in an order to go. He was friendly and took my order quickly. When I got there, pretty clean, empty, big mural on the wall. The food was tasty for sure. It comes in a paper box so a little soggy. I got the garlic fries and smashed cheeseburger. Can't go wrong. The fries were okay, garlic wasn't on everything though and some were soggy. I'd try it again."
"Best smoked turkey I've ever had, so juicy and flavorful. Also very into his homemade mustard and bbq sauce! Catch him at Dog and Pony Show every Thursday."
"Impasto is always on point! Recently, I had an issue with my order, but Telly was so helpful and fixed the situation, no problem. He maintained a positive attitude and was personable as well as respectful. His service, along with the rest of the team at the Ferndale Art Fair, was exceptional."
"I am, unfortunately, lactose-intolerant. This isn't something I've dealt with my entire life; only since around 30 years old. That was 10 years ago. I have found plenty of good ice cream. Some pizza places will do feta or goat cheese on pizza which is pretty good. If I buy aged cow's milk cheese (more than a year) I'm fine, but it is expensive. And while I'm pretty damn good in the kitchen, making dairy free Italian can be a pain in the ass. During art fair a couple weeks back, I stopped by the truck and had the Arancini and a stuffed noodle dish and it was OUTSTANDING!!! Could not tell it was vegan, which is the point. It was rich, full of flavor, and hearty. Some of the greatest qualities that Italian cuisine encompasses. Thanks for a great experience!"
"There is this juice!!!! Yummmmmmmmmm! The food is actually very tasty. It being my first time I tried the rice and plantains. And oxtails."
"I have to leave a review because had the food and service been the opposite of what I experienced I would leave a review. This place is wonderful. The steak was tender, rice and vegetables were perfect. The service was phenomenal. It was so much food I couldn't eat it all initially and I reheated the next day and it was still delicious. I may return today but definitely before the week is over and I was just there a day ago. A must try maybe I will see you there !"
"The food definitely SLAPS! I ordered the OG burger, it was Amazing. The onion rings were huge. I'll definitely be taking the drive again soon!"
"Some co-workers and I decided to hit up Campus Martius for lunch one beautiful summer day, you know when they have a ton of food trucks everywhere for you to choose from. I went with the Nu Deli food truck, that serves deli sandwiches with an Indian inspired twist. I'm a big fan of spices but I'm still not that familiar with Indian cuisine so this was a fun/new experience for me.I ended up getting the, "Nu Grilled Cheese," that has four different cheeses, mango chutney and stone-ground mustard on Italian Bread... and you guys... this sandwich was so bomb!!!! I kept loving each bite more and more until it was sadly all gone. Even the chips were bomb! They were just a wavy regular chip but they added a spice to them that just took them to a whole 'nother level. There was also a pickle, respectively. They aren't great with keeping track of who ordered what and who came before who, and I ended up waiting almost 30 mins for my order, but it was worth it!"
"My favorite bbq place for years! I really don't even consider trying anywhere else since I feel nothing can beat it! Also my dad is a champion bbq dude! So it's his house or slows! My favorite is the pulled pork. Also love the Mac and cheese, waffle fries with cheese sauce, pit beans, coleslaw, and bread pudding!Just a wonderful place!"
"I went to Arts, Beats, and Eats in Royal Oak over the weekend. I had looked at the different food trucks and restaurants that would be in attendance before I went yesterday, just to plan out what I would try. In doing so, I looked up a few restaurants for reviews on Yelp, and ran across Big Bo's Grill. After reading reviews and looking at pictures, I knew that I would be visiting their food truck for the event! I went and to my surprise, where I parked at, was right at the entrance where the Big Bo's Grill food truck was located, so I was happy about that!I ordered the Corned Beef egg-rolls, and my family member ordered the Deep Fried Ribs. There was so much food, and everything was good! I definitely wouldn't mind taking a drive to Troy in the future to check out more food items!"
"This truck gets 5 stars for a few reasons! 1st the food is outstanding. So much flavor, great portions! The staff rocks! Beyond friendly and so helpful. Made me a couple vegan options that were not on the menu and were happy to do so. Most of the time they are a shell of what they are supposed to be. Not here!! It was sooo gooood!!! My tastebuds were greatful! Can't wait to go back!!!"
"Absolutely stunned how delicious this was, this place is gold. Best corn beef I've ever had, and I've had a lot! Dessert are equally delicious, need to try a Ruben , hear it's fantastic too."
"Listen this was the closest Nigeria has ever been to Michigan. I asked them to make my food especially spicy -- and they did not disappoint. I ordered the FuFu with Egusi soup as well as the Goat and Jollof rice. Everything was 10/10. The portion sizes are huge -- I ate off this food for 3 days. Of note, this it is a food truck. I initially thought it was a full restaurant. Highly recommend trying this place. The girls working inside the truck were nice and the service was on point."
"Great middle eastern food truck. I love that their pitas have no oil or sugar added and you have the option to turn the menu item into a pita or salad bowl. The staff is very friendly and quick to make your entree. I always opt for the falafel boy - salad bowl style. It is filling but not over the top I stuffed myself. The veggies taste fresh and are all natural and the best part there isn't too much garlic where you can't go back into work, but still enough to have amazing flavor. They aren't chinsy when it comes to the falafels either, you get 6-8 of them in your salad bowl. You can check out their website and they will let you know where they will be for that week!Love Pita Post Food Truck for lunch!"
"Been wanting to try the Cluck again....glad I did! Came in on heavy, drip-rainy Saturday! Maya helped me decide on their so, sum Honey-Spice, add extra pickle Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries. With a Coke to wash it all down. I think I was the only one in the mood or it was just too wet to be outside - but the wait was not long. Received my food hot, right out of the grill area!! Stapled the bag and I was on my way.Inside scenery, the place was spotless and I had the HC all too myself. I will definitely return to get a second byte of the good eating. Thanks again to Maya!!"
"Came here on a weekday after biking with my boyfriend. The boyfriend was craving tripas (tripe) and it definitely satisfied his craving. Also ordered al pastor and carnitas tacos, along with birria pizza, ceviche, and rice. They had no horchata but still everything hit the spot. They accept cash only and theres one picnic table under a tent to eat. Enjoyed our meal outside and will definitely be back. Be careful of the huge crater pothole on the road when turning into the tqco truck parking spaces."
